Ballot altered to reflect a rather dubious omission.

Original to the DVD. Deon felt they made it the worst DVD ever made. Don't bother with that chapter list either since it tricked a lot of people last January. "Frist Raw" is just a segment from the Raw Homecoming special on USA in 2005, Perfect vs. Flair is clipped, and a lot of later segments are just already existing video packages they threw on a DVD. I actually reviewed the set for the Observer website last year and would shamelessly link it here if it hadn't been lost in the F4W merger (though I was assured a back-up of it was archived somewhere along with everything else on the old Observer site).

Right of the bat I lose half my energy to some rabid dog while I'm trying to swing across a chain.

That's an impressive run for a show that supposed to have been cancelled in 2005 or so. They really seemed to be running out of steam with Cotton dying last season so this is fine. "Fox said it's most recent 13-episode order would be its last; the final episodes are expected to air 2009-10 TV season".

It's scheduled to be 6 parts (24/7 normally does parts per disc). That's what tipped me off it was the DVD and not the TV show (I'd rather have the TV show, I have the DVD!).

88 also has The Rockers and Hart Foundation as faces (a rare Shawn and Bret team-up!). I recall Shawn taking an awesome looking spinebuster from Arn Anderson. It also has a crippled Dynamite Kid which isn't all that fun. It did set up the Demolition / Powers of Pain double turn though, so I give it the slight nod. Both are good though.

An update on this, the reason Meltz called this a "countdown to build up the DVD" is because he's been told that's what it is. He also told me that - spoiler alert! - was voted as the #1 match.

I enjoyed the episode while watching it and laughed quite a bit at the Dwight / Andy interactions, but to echo what most have said, I checked the time on my DVR at one point and was amazed 24 minutes had passed (meaning there was only a few minutes left before a commercial, then the short final scene) with things just quickly wrapping up. Overall, an enjoyable episode that probably could have benefitted from an hour (Halloween being the cold opening was a bit of a letdown considering the episode description sold Pam's costume faux pas as main story point).

Isn't your angle posting pictures of an awesome video game collection? That's HOF worthy in this HOF nominee's (thanks you two - though I have bet on TSM before) opinion.

Let's Talk About... The Apter Mags

Reading the line "put on a hell of show" in reference to Impact is some great kayfabe. I fondly remember a letter allegedly written by the fan Gorilla Monsoon called "a sick individual" for holding up a pro Double J sign on Wrestling Challenge. Good stuff. -
There's a show on WGN America right now called "Check It Out". Don Adams is running a grocery store! I predict greatness (I've never heard of this show).

I do, though it's odd because last season was so odd and now they're suddenly back to doing things the normal way as if last year never happened. Does anyone watch Kath and Kim? I don't but Selma Blair looks hot in the ads.

I realize that NOTHING about WrestleRock Rumble makes sense, but why are they singing about an event in Minnesota (at the HHH Metrodome!) while showing the sights and sounds of Las Vegas? I enjoy the Run DMC DX song. It's catchy. Plus Stephanie throws a molotav cocktail at a police car, then does crotch chops with Tori.

Way to celebrate losing, Hogan. What a douche. Jesse threatening to come out of retirement and take the title from Hogan just to end his douchebaggery is awesome.
-
The episode in 2 weeks involves Michael going on an assignment to Canada with Andy and Oscar. I predict greatness.

I like how the black man and masked terrorist had the "wCw" logo. Charlie Haas being ? makes me wonder if they'll DLC this to their heart's content with his current gimmick.

Man, Meltzer made me sound like an idiot in today's F4Wonline update, calling matches 25-21 the winners of an online vote for the DVD. I never said that! He did retract yesterday's story about WWE.com Legacy being a brand new service though.

1991 WCW (especially based on matches they DIDN'T do but had planned - Maze of Mirrors, a Reverse Battle Royal involving quicksnad) really was a pre-cursor to TNA. I find it funny that WCW's split screen technology was better in 1991 than 1994. In 1994, instead of one small screen on top of the main action, they would split everything up into TWO small split screens with 75% of the screen devoted to a graphic telling you the name of the PPV. That sucked.

I got tired of IN ANGER 3 posts in. I guess you had to be there?

Yeah that one was pretty bad. At least I have that one on DVD. I did enjoy his pop-up during the Cena video (and could they have not used "Bad Bad Man"? Would they owe Gary Coleman some sort of likeness royalty?).
