The "Vent about not having Program X on 24/7" Thread
DrVenkman PhD replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in WWE Multimedia
Cogeco seems to be updating their movie network on demand channels properly now (which is why I find it odd when they blame WWE for this - did WWE also screw up by not adding new shows and series to the proper sub-menus on The Movie Network?) which usually bodes well for 24/7. Case in point, I didn't expect Halloween Havoc 92 to be on time but here it is, available and on time. Of course, whoever is at fault can only seem to get their act together for week 2 and beyond programming, meaning the Raw I'm missing and REALLY wanted to see will not be appearing. The topper is no one even bothered to post a torrent of it. -
I believe this show is also the 24/7 debut of Fake Gary Cappetta (when it aired in 2006). He tries so much harder on this show.

Sting was the best booked babyface on Impact for weeks so him winning the title is a good thing, I suppose. Realistically it's not like a damned thing that happens in this company means a thing anyway. Can someone better explain the Joe dropkick spot? Meltzer's recap stated he went from "the luxury boxes to the steps", so of course I visualize that as Joe leaping about 100 feet above ground on some huge arch that made it all the way to the ring steps. That sounds like quite the jump for him to pull off and live.

Anytime you get Iron Sheik calling Mean Gene an intelligent jew, it's a thumbs up.

The one where Wes Adams was fired and Ricky Ortiz was having problems selling (his merchandise) is the best. -
I don't follow how looking for illegal roms and owning a Wii go hand in hand unless this is an oddly worded question about the Virtual Console library. Available on VC. Available on VC as well as every GBA Mario port ever. Available on VC. As both games involve licensed characters, if and when they will ever appear on VC is unknown (and they will likely cost 100 extra Wii points if they do).

I gave you props on IRC. Happy Birthday to Dingus! -
Didn't we already get that when Vince McMahon had his first match? A Winner is You.

I agree with that. I'm not a huge fan of the Conway Twitty cutaways either.

Why did WWE.com get rid of official previews?

TIME THEFT. Jim trying to goad Dwight into a personal conversation when discussing Battlestar with Andy was great.

After a half update last week and a non-update yesterday, things are finally filtering in. Also - and it seems I get different responses from Cogeco all the time - this is their most recent one: This came two days after they sent me an e-mail saying to call Cogeco customer service if I was still missing programming. -

To go along with Matt's Benoit vs. Guerrero ballot, here's something from my local newspaper that falls under the "political deal that would amuse wrestling fans": -
I'm guessing that either Victoria or Natalia went to pull the other twin from under the ring and they grabbed Hornswoggle by mistake. I believe there was a deal a few weeks back where Victoria or Natalya (or both) claimed they knew the secret of why Bella kept going under the ring, deducing she was having an affair with Hornswoggle.

I like how if PROMOTER tells you to design something on your own time, they automatically own your creation. Also I couldn't help but find the clause in Raven's contract that he acknowledge that the WWF invented Johnny Polo funny. I'm sure there's good legal reasons for it and what have you, but it just amused me to read that.

I believe the working plan, before Vince decided they couldn't keep paying Bret, was to have another Austin/Bret WrestleMania match with Austin getting the win and the title.

WWE.com no longer previews shows for whatever reason, so I got nothing.

I kind of remember that now.

I must be out of the loop on something - this is the second time in 8 days I've heard "and boom goes the dynamite" on TV. It was funnier when Cleveland said it.

You guys missed the best part of the Miz/Morrison/Cryme Tyme exchange. Either Miz or Morrison said "Did I do that?" in a Steve Urkel voice.

Relax tough guy. Just keep it cool. Anyway, Big Bang Theory is on.
