I have to add that that is sarcasm, because with the ellipsis that looks like a KKK post, which is where a line like that probably wouldn't be sarcastic lol.

C'mon, all jews think the exact same...

Another thing about Rickson that will always stand out to me as to why I can't respect the guy as a fighter, was a line where asked why instead of giving a fight to Kerr, Sakuraba, etc. (other big names in the early days of PRIDE) why did he give a rematch to Takada? He said something like "Takada has proven he is a warrior to me in the first fight. The others are not worthy of my time." Something like that, i'll find the interview, but the guy NEVER stepped up to fight top competition when the top competition was there for him to fight. He gets a big NO from me. I think it would be better to add one more question to the list: "After weighing in all these factors, would you let him into the HOF?" Just a nice resolution to the list and way to conclude it.
-
I think you answered your own question with the last line, as there isn't enough of a past to wait for retirement, yet there is enough of a history to judge fighters to have been special, to deserve to be in a HOF, which is why one should be created, albeit prematurely.

It's also what Tito called Chuck at that UFC 46 hype interview, on account of his belly and all. Last of the mohicans got a chuckle out of me, from UFC 51 especially since Chuck was drunk and angry, so his reaction was funnier. He was actually pissed off.

Randy Couture please wash the taste of UFN out of my mouth.

Retirement and fighting are a weird mix though, as rarely does someone stay retired. Frank is scheduled to fight this year, so that's not really a good way to judge retirement. I'd say if someone doesn't really compete anymore, but does a one shot deal here or there, like Royce, that might as well be retirement. Even then, not enough, so just waive the retirement rule.

I would have lovde to have seen a Coleman-Kerr fight, if only for curiousity.

Ahhh fuck Horn, I hope he gets knocked out, but for all their Tito bashing, I bet if he was in the main event it would have sold out.

Ultimate Fight Night on SPIKE TV

That's true as well. This would be disappointing if you expected a PPV level event, which most of us did. For a show on Free Tv, it's a damn good show. Compared to wrestling, how many times do you ever get a great match on raw plus a few other good fights? Not really ever. "I'm gonna hold onto this title till I retire" Chuck Liddell=HHH -

I hated him during the show, but the more I thought about it, the more I hated Leben. Combine that with the fact that Koscheck actually has potential as a top level fighter, and now he's grown on me. -
How is thirty anyway? Do you guys feel old? Some say that they don't but when you're 18 thirty seems waaaaayy out there.

Hes the most talented musicia since Jeff Buckley. He has the most drive to be perfect and prolific since Tupac Shakur. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is just a...weird sentence. I don't know. D/L Jesus Walks, you'd like that I'd assume. -

The more I think about it, one good fight really in Hoger/Bonnar. Cote/Leben was okay but there was lots of boring clinchwork in there too. These guys aren't exactly Randy/Vitor(who has very underrated takedown defense from the clinch). The quick fights are okay I guess, but to round it out you need good solid fights across the board, and that didn't happen. -

I am officially off of the Ivan Salaverry bandwagon. Not because he lost, but because he didn't do shit. Now you guys can say that the night was disappointing. -

How does one judge have 29-27 for Cote? Which round was 10-8? I guess when Leben slipped he thought it was a boxing match, counted it as a knockdown and made it 10-8, that's fucking retarded. Even worse is that another judge had 30-27 for LEBEN? Stupid. I thought Cote should have won, and they just kept pushing Leben the whole time like honestly, I like Cote, but he is NOT a top level 185 lb'er. I thought that they were actually building Tito up at certain points, talking about how everyone wants to train with him and such. But yeah, the "Cote knocked him down and can't knock down Leben" got tired. I called it, they're showing Swick's fight. They should put him in there with someone whose not a joke, see how "quick" he is then. -

If they got paid what they deserved they wouldn't have to go that route. They don't though, so they do. Seeing as how Chris Leben sounds smart enough to take this fight to the ground, I think he might actually win now. -

I thought he rocked Hoger with that flurry at the end, but rounds 2 and 3 showed that they were both just gassed. Really fun fight though, whether it was on the feet or the ground. -

Someone tell Hoger to wash his fucking feet. Am I the only one who noticed that? He did a good job of protecting his guard, but he took a bit of a beating at the end there, so I would go with a 10-8 even. -

Never mind, I saw the pre lim results. I'm surprised they haven't shown a Swick fight, you had to know it was going to end early. How a Keith Hackney student gets two fights, TWO fights in the UFC is beyond me. I'm disappointed in Neer, K-Flo and Karalexis don't belong in the octogon anyway, so fuck those guys. -

Ha, look at Forrest. Went from sleeping in someone else' living room to making commercials for supplements. What were the prelim fights? Or are they showing all the fights on tv? -

I see. I'm just kind of annoyed that a judge for the UFC is the one who stopped the fight too early. You'd think that someone who has watched so many MANY fights would be able to be a better judge of the action in the ring. -

Jesus, people are complaining after two fights? How was the production bad? That's a serious question, I don't know. -

Fack I missed Spratt-Kos, was it anything special? How was the intro to the show? Those are always interesting. I agree with Sell, that finish was bullshit.
