Holy shit I just got all of the comments because I just went to that Site Feedback thread about Slickster getting banned. For a minute I thought MMH was all soft hearted and stuff.

I really liked WM X because Bret was always my favourite wrestler. That pretty much explains it. Going from losing to his brother in the opener to winning the title and celebrating with all the guys in the back at the end. That had a special feel for me. Also, WM 14 was a changing of the guard, what with Austin becoming the main guy. Those two stick out in my mind. Of course, what created the atmosphere and pretty much cemented WM as "The Show" is 3, but like I said before with the current state of the business, we'll never get a main event like that one again.

I like this quote a lot. This year's WM is so lacklustre I won't even bother stealing it. Seriously, if it was on free tv, it wouldn't really be free since I'd be investing about three (or is it four?) hours of my time into it, and THAT is too steep a price to pay. I don't like comparing pro wrestling to MMA because MMA is a sport, while pro wrestling is not. It sounds simple yet for some reason a strong tie remains between the two for whatever reason. Wrestlemania hasn't really had that special feel since they added all the PPV's to the year. The buildup is not as good since it's almost like a monthly thing, two at most. Of course they'd lose too much money to make things more simpler like back in the day, so I guess it works for them now since no one seems to care.

Do you know if these guys will get the chance to go at a weight other than what they're at? I mean Mike Swick would be much better off MW, but if he did win, which I doubt, do you think they'll give him 185 or ask him to stay at 205 since that is what he was at on the show?

I thought it was great too, but the not so subtle jabs at Star Wars, The Matrix and of course LOTR didn't need that "WOW this is ten times bigger than the battle in lord of the rings movie!" I think their satire of LOTR was enough without that line hammering the point home.

Does anyone know a good source that would have these stats for all the PPVs? Recently I was interested in how much guys were getting paid in UFC 50, but it would be nice to have a site that lists a whole bunch of the different shows.

Turning the other cheek isn't supposed to be taken literally, it's a practice back in those days more or less referring to verbal stuff, as opposed to someone physically doing something. Actually the majority of people will probably like this one. I can easily see this one being on MTV for the next few months. But yeah, the song is pretty fucking terrible. I don't really care for Weezer or have expectations of them, so I'm not disappointed.
