Whoops, almost forgot the picture: -
Who do you think did most of the choking? The Bills would win games by like three TD's when Drew had like four interceptions. He was just bad, I'm surprised that people are seriously considering him for the HOF. He played very poor in that last game, they deserved to not make the playoffs, ditto with the Jags who had it all and dropped the ball at home to the Texans. Anyways, I'm hoping Losman lives up to the hype. This team could be anywhere from 6-10 to 12-4 next year, all depending on the status of the QB, and of course, key injuries.

That would be the greatest story in the history of this board! That would be the worst joke in the history of this board!

I have to agree with him though, I rarely see him speak on his school (I wasn't paying attention when he apparently did it all the time) and a few times I'll see Czech derail a thread for no reason and fuck with him about that or the Marlins. Anyways, I wonder how long Shaq will be gone. If he's back in time for the Playoffs, it still might not be so good since he will be fat and out of shape and stuff from sitting out all that time, sort of like another offseason.

He isn't technically the owner yet. He still hasn't been approved by the league so this is all McComb's doing. Okay, I'm just surprised then that McCombs pulled this deal off before that other guy could even come in. That kind of sucks, if he really didn't want to get rid of him. You're getting rid of the new owner's franchise player.

Whatever happened to not trading Moss, as promised by the owner? I guess a guy who lied as much as he did on his personal report can't be trusted.

I can't really get through all of that, but I will say that I think that I morphed you and Spicy together, and most of what I said was directed at him. I realize that most of what I said wasn't directed at you, you just happened to post right after me. My bad. I interpreted what you said in the job interview as saying that AI should dress like a professional all the time. But now I see you're hung up on this "Whitened up" thing... Most people have the stereotype that if a person dresses a certain way, they are a thug. These people don't know what they're talking about, and are holding on to stereotypes for whatever reason that they may be doing so. They probably are insecure or something. They're wrong either way, since the problem isn't with the person who dresses that way, it's with the guy who judges based on that. That's why I think Spicy is way off base for going on about how AI has to have a positive image or something, based on appearance. I'd say his charity work makes up more of a positive image than a pair of dockers, or whatever it is that middle age men wear.

That's what I mainly took issue with, but your comparison with Will Smith and Denzel is equally ignorant. You didn't outright say it, but you are on him because he dresses like black culture. Do you wear a suit whenever in public? Do you have nice close cropped hairstyle, or a yuppie ponytail? No, so why should he? Why the fuck are you dictating what someone should do with their personal life? If he wants to have tattoos and corn rows, fine, he's not going in for a job interview, he's walking around the mall, club, strip joint, whatever. You're in no place to judge a man based on what he wears outside of his place of business. If he dressed in Gap clothing or AE or whatever we wouldn't be having this discussion, but since it's "thug", he's a bad role model. Let him wear whatever he wants in his personal life, you and Spicy have no right to make judgements on him because of stereotypes you might hold for people that dress that way. Re: Proper Business Uniform; all he has to do is wear a basketball jersey. He does. Outside of that, whatever he does is not related to the fact that he's an athlete, but rather that he's a normal dude. If you find it wrong that he dresses how he wants to in his personal life, then that's your problem. Kindly shut the fuck up about it though. Please.

Dama and Spicy sound like ignorant white people, who have their own personal stereotypes and biases. They're not racist, they're just really stupid when it comes to issues on race. Hope I don't get banned. I agree with Ripper; "all the charity work in the world doesn't matter, because if you dress in a stereotype that I follow, you're setting a bad example". I guess it would be better if he kept all his money and said "fuck off" to all of the people he gave his money back to, so long as he spent that money on expensive suits and decided that he would keep it all for himself.

After watching two of the top contenders go at it, I have a feeling that the winner, other than Quarry, would get their ass handed to them in the UFC. Tanner, Terrell, Lindland, Franklin, would have their way with them. The most well-rounded fighter, probably Quarry, is the only one with a chance. These guys, I'm beginning to think, aren't as great as I thought they would be. But it makes sense, because otherwise the UFC would have picked them up already. These are the guys that do well in the indies, and then get sent home after they lose their first UFC match. That's essentially what Doerkson-Leben was, and Doerksen doesn't really belong in the UFC yet I think. I think that they will be disappointed with how the winners perform on the big stage. -

Josh Koscheck looked like a mini Kerr, right down to the way he held up his hands. Fights like him too (unfortunately). I'd have picked Quarry to run through all four MW from Team Liddell, but a) One is switching over and b) He's hurt. -

Slayer is right, I do arguing for the sake of arguing. Damn. -
I think Hogan was great at telling a story in the ring, but a terrible *worker*.

Do you think that TSA is oblivious to the fact that most on the board thinks she's terrible? I only ask because I saw her viewing this folder at the same time as me.

You're right in a lot of ways, but really, people come to a wrestling show to believe. They want you to put on a good show and do a great job that would convince them that what they see is real, while people at a magic show are more skeptical since they believe it's fake and don't say otherwise until you convince them. But good on Austin and Bret. I don't think their interviews in real life did any favours in convincing people about it, like when Bret did his worked shoot on the Nitro in Canada, or when Austin went on OTR and made some comments about Bret. -

When I said you can't compare I didn't mean it literally, sorry for not pointing that out. It's like saying "You can't compare Tom Brady's QB abilities with Danny McManus". Literally you could, but really, you shouldn't. That's just semantics, but anyway, there's a huge difference between suspending your belief for awhile and still thinking that there is something real about it when you leave. You have trouble understanding this no matter how much I try to point it out, so I'll just drop it, especially since you seem to be taking this a tad personally judging from the last post. To Slayer: That's probably true about the arguing. -

I watched two Leben matches today, v. Doerkson and v. Swick. I have to say that I was impressed with both fights, and I think he could have gotten a decision against Doerkson. I think Joe Doerkson won, but I still think it was very close given the exchanges on the feet. He showed tremendous heart in battling through all those submission attempts. He dominated Swick save for one exchange early in the second, and even then, he knocked him out right after. I think Leben should win this fight, but he's not really an active fighter on his back, while Koscheck will most likely put him there. He will probably KO him later on in the fight. If not, the judges might give it to Josh since the UFC just loves them some wrestling. -

Yes because no one's ever thought wrestling was real. There's a huge difference between creating an illusion like fire or whatever in your hands and putting on a show, especially one that has been proven to be fake countless times on national television, et al. I don't think there's much of a comparison is all. Thus fooling people is even HARDER in wrestling because they know it's fake. Any person that thinks wrestling isnot scripted is a moron. Jingus by his own admission is an intelligent guy, so fooling him with the fire in the hand trick would be seemingly harder. Your logic is self-refuting by the way. How can they know it's fake, yet believe it? Unless you mean suspension of belief, like one would have for a movie. We all know the point of a movie is not to fool people but to tell a story. That's what wrestling was last time I checked too. I'll say that it's not so hard to believe wrestling is real, since if you check a simple resource you'd find the proof that it isn't. In regards to those parlour tricks, a lot of times logic doesn't seem to work in your favour and you'd have a much harder time refuting this. I'm just surprised that someone like Jingus who had such a hard time believing claims of God or religion or whatever is convinced that people who perform magic tricks have powers of some sort. -
I can't find the link. I wouldn't be surprised if Meltz was on roids, the guy is pretty big and he wrestles too. Not that this is proof, I just wouldn't be surprised.

I hate when people refer to this as real news, and really enjoy reading this sort of stuff since they have a distaste for A-Rod as well. -

Are you willing to talk politics? I don't remember asking. Basically, if you are, where do you stand and why did you vote for the person that you had voted for?
