What did you see in Slo Mo? Did you see anything even further down the line? If so don't say it. Hey, Forrest and Bonnar are my two picks for the LHW. It's just that the MW battle is so much more intriguing, what with all the qualified guys that are there. It could really be anyone from Leben to Quarry to Koscheck to Sanchez. That's four top guys, not to mention other big talents that are dark horses, like Karalexis or whatever his name is. -
Did you never see the Lions play? I'm probably in the minority on this, but I think Marshall Faulk is a better RB then Emmitt Smith.

Your argument is not whining so much as it is just blatanly lacking in terms of actual merit. You're not making a valid point so much as you are just...I actually don't know what you're using as "proof". If the Bills beat the Titans in 2000 they probably would have made it to the super bowl and beat the Rams, on account of the fact that they took the Titans to the end of the game in their home stadium, unheard of at the time, and the Titans won on a bullshit call . Could this have happened? Perhaps. But should I be able to say the Bills are a better team than the Rams in 2000 based on this? No, it's retarded and doesn't really make any sense. The Rams got it done, the Bills didn't. The Rams actually beat the team the Bills didn't, what's a better way to guage the more talented team? The Patriots team this year and last were better then their 2001 team, but that 2001 team is still better then the Eagles were that year. They shut down the Rams defense on turf, the greatest offense in the history of the league...or at least it was until the Pats got there. They have a tendency to beat all the heavy favourites, and show why Belichick is the best coach of the past four years, because he shuts down Peyton Manning to no TD passes, makes the rookie look more like a rookie then he has previously, stop the Bus, stop the Greatest Show on Earth, etc. etc. He's better then Andy Reid. I love the Bills, I love Marv Levy, but I won't say he's a better coach then Bill Parcells, even if he did go to four straight Super Bowls. EDIT: To make me sound like not as much of an ass

Do you do it with the Gi or without? If you do it with one, what belt are you and what sort of knowledge/application did you have to know to obtain it?

That wasn't what Rush said, he said he felt that they rushed to push Donovan BECAUSE he was black and that he wasn't deserving of the hype he received. I agree with that statement. Just like I believe they pushed Eli Manning hype too much because his last name was Manning and he wasn't ready for it. McNabb needed one more season like this one to prove he deserved the hype. If Rush was stupid enough to believe McNabb was no good because he was black then he's a moron. McNabb struggled because he was still learning the position and now he deserves all the hype and more. But it's foolish, the same season he said that McNabb had MVP like numbers and an MVP like season with no one on his team. He doesn't get the same push that a lot of other QB's get, and he was on his way to a third straight NFC Championship game, or rather had two before. It's not like he had bad seasons before that. He was just plain wrong in that instance. Although it didn't come out, I find it hard to believe that Rush didn't have personal race issues regarding the subject, seeing as how he didn't have much of a leg to stand on with this issue.

We bet on whether US or Canada had a higher rate of violent crime. I won and I was supposed to be able to change his stuff. OK, I remember that. Kinda -- really wasn't paying attention, but I do recall you two fighting over something dumb... I don't know all this talk of statistics, but Canada doesn't have its own inner City washington, COmpton, Harlem, etc. etc. I've never really feared for my life in any place in Canada, wherever I've been. I think that would change were I to step in the wrong places in the United States, and in fact has changed on at least one occasion. -
In other news, no moron out there still believes Rush that Donovon McNabb is overrated because he's black do they? That was one of the stupidest things I've heard, and I was surprised that anyone was defending that one. Sad thing is, some people might still feel it to be true.

This is just foolish "what If" that has no standing. You have no proof that they would have killed the 01 pats, and I don't know what you're basing any of this on. I mean really, Gannon would not have had a bad game against the Eagles like he did the Bucs since Jon Gruden wasn't on their team. All this talk of the Pats only beating the Colts because they weren't on their own turf, indoors where they run things. Guess who they played in the 01-02 super bowl? The Greatest Show On Earth, ON TURF. A team that was like the COlts, except they actually WON a super bowl and were HUGE favourites. Going on about their MAX Q and all that crap. What does Belichick do? He shuts them down on the best possible place that they could have played in. What do they do the game before? They beat another heavily favoured team without OMG TOMBRADYDACUTEST~! The 2001-02 Pats proved themselves the best in the league. How do I know the Eagles would have killed them when they couldn't shut down the team the Pats did so handily? Stop whining, the Pats were the best team in each of the three years they've won the super bowl...err two.

Why are people so against the sig picture? It's harmless, not meant to be taken seriously. It's like when everyone had funny Kerry pictures making fun of him. It's not like they were meant to be serious.

Go to a fitness gym or something. It can't be that hard. -
See I thought most of that stuff was done by the writer, as in he will describe the scene that is being set out. For instance, if the guy is going out and staring at the horizon, the writer would state that it is supposed to be a large shot, encompassing a lot of space, sort of like what's done in the novel, and the director follows that guideline. How can you judge a director? It's really easy to see how good the dialogue is or how good the acting is, but how can you tell if the director did a good job with the pacing and made the right things work etc. That seems a little TOO subjective to be able to compare, not to mention that it's so easy to read the wrong things when trying to figure it out.

Josh K is what they call him, he helped out because he has a stacked wrestling background, and is an all around badass. He knows how to cut weight. -
Since 2000, Andy Reid is 59-21 (66-25 including playoffs) with records of back to back 11-5 seasons, then back to back 12-4 seasons, before going 13-3 this year.. Since 2000, Bill Belichick is 53-27 (61-27 including playoffs) with records of 5-11, 11-5, 9-7 and back to back 14-2 seasons. Belichick has won all the championships, but Reid has been consistently at the top, moreso than any other coach in these past 5 seasons. On an interesting sidenote, Green Bay Packers coach Mike Sherman has amassed the exact same regular season record as Bill Belichick since 2000 (the year he was hired) of 53-27, while going 9-7, 12-4 back to back, and 10-6 back to back. That 2-4 playoff record is disgusting, however. You said past four seasons, that includes this season, since you included it. That means he has: Season One: Won The Super Bowl Season Two: Finished Nine and Seven Season Three: Won The Super Bowl Season Four: Beat the two best teams in the league, ready to beat the third and WIN THE SUPER BOWL! Two in four years is greater then one, THREE in four years, leading a terrible team to a dynasty in four years is even greater then zero. This doesn't even take into account the genius he's been when he's had the deck stacked against him in previous matchups. Combine all of this and you'd be crazy to not think he's been the best coach in the NFL for the past four years. You don't actually believe Reid has a better record, since at this point before this year's super bowl, he's not on the same level as Belichick, you're just trying to defend your point and not admit you're wrong. ADMIT IT~!

They made Southworth out to look like the biggest pussy in the world, and it was kind of funny hearing him constantly try to give up since he's the most melodramatic about this on the team. I mean when it came down to it, he turned from "Stand up son" to "Fuck you" to Chuck. Dana's speech was a nice one, because a lot of the fighters were even pissing me off talking about purses and such, missing the big picture. I think Chuck will send over Bobby since he sees where his heart is, not to mention the fact that it adds to the DRAWMUH~! given what happened in this episode. -

Helen Hunt won for As Good As It Gets. But to GTD, most of what you said, about finding the right moments or having perfect timing for the comedy in regards to the job of the director, wouldn't that all be covered in the script? By definition, what exactly does the director do with all the material that he has.

Why is Mad Dog Salacious Crumb? -
Okay, but I still disagree, I think the reason behind it is more due to sociological evidence as opposed to genetic. Not as many Thai people in Canada as Chinese would be the reason why they aren't as successful in terms of school and such. I don't think the fact that they're Thai has anything to do with it. I mean worldwide. The strong centers of math have traditionally been in Europe, North America, Japan, China, India, and the Middle East. And I live in the United States now, not Canada. Well I live in Canada.

I can only comment on my own area of specialization (mathematics), but there is non-trivial (although hardly definitive) evidence that women tend to be stronger in algebra and logic, while men are better at analysis and geometry. There are several arguments one can make both for and against this statement, as well as several explanations as to why it might be true beyond genetics, but it's an interesting observation. One other thing that one notices about mathematics is that very few native americans, blacks, and southeast asians are found in the upper echelons of the subject. On the other hand, it's not just a case of "whites only": arabs, Indians, the Chinese, and the Japanese are all very strong in mathematics. Hmm? Lots of Indians are strong in math. Isn't that Southeast Asia?

I believe that in general, on average, there's bound to be a difference in the sexes, however significant. I mean, I'm sure most women would admit that they're not as strong as men are on a whole. Naturally that is, as in the average man and woman. It's obvious that there are physical differences between the sexes, advantages or not, depending on what they are. So is it that much of a stretch to say that there are inherent gender differences in regards to psychological and intellectual categories? I don't think so.

Hey Brian I remember you saying that you train in some fighting art, like BJJ or something? What sort of workout do you get from that? I started wrestling and kickboxing, so I don't really feel up to lifting weights, and from what I'm told about what the effects of those activities, I won't really have to.

The poll is ridiculously in favour of the non-smokers, I wonder how it would look if we had polls for alcohol and drugs. See how many closet Straight Edgers we have in this place.
