    Wanna hear something sick?

Shit, one time I was on the bus and I overheard this girl telling her friend about someone she knows who was getting ready for a wedding and noticed some string hanging out of their dog's ass. They started pulling on it and it kept going and going until finally something just popped out and shit sprayed all over the place and all over the clothes they were going to wear to the wedding. Turns out the dog ate a softball. That's hilarious! I'm less concerned about their clothes for the wedding and happier that nothing bad happened to the dog after eating the softball. I half-expected TC to blow a gasket after seeing all the ..... How long ago did you blow out your knee IDRM?

    2004 Hall of Fame Class

Associated Press HOUSTON -- John Elway and Barry Sanders made the Pro Football Hall of Fame on their first attempt Saturday, making it look as easy as everything else they did in their spectacular careers. Elway, the winningest quarterback in NFL history, and Sanders, No. 3 in career rushing, were joined by Bob Brown and Carl Eller. Two other finalists, Dallas tackle Rayfield Wright and wide receiver Bob Hayes, didn't receive enough votes to make the hall. Also denied entry after making the final 15 were Harry Carson, Richard Dent, Cliff Harris, Lester Hayes, Bob Kuechenberg, Jim Marshall -- a teammate of Eller and Page -- Art Monk, George Young and Gary Zimmerman. For Elway, who led the Denver Broncos to Super Bowl championships in his final two seasons, the selection was a reward for his remarkable skills, leadership and longevity. "I'm really kind of speechless to be honest with you," Elway said. "Just truly honored to be named to the Hall of Fame with the greats of all time. "I want to tell every guy I played with, 'Thanks,'" Elway said. The first choice in the 1983 draft -- the Year of the Quarterback, with six selected in the opening round -- Elway lost his first three Super Bowls, all in routs. But he guided the Broncos to the 1997 and '98 NFL championships, capping his illustrious career with a Super Bowl MVP trophy. Elway won 148 games and was the 1987 league MVP. He will be the only Bronco in the Hall of Fame when he is inducted this summer. Unlike Elway, Sanders retired in his prime at 31. He was 1,457 yards from the career rushing record, then held by Walter Payton. "When I think about the Hall of Fame, it seems like that's something that happens to someone else," Sanders said. "You think Dick Butkus, Walter Payton, names of that light. To be here, I truly feel, in some ways a little out of place." Speaking about himself and Elway, he said: "They saw something that was unique in us, something they might not see on any old Sunday. Sanders was the first player to rush for 1,000 yards in his first 10 seasons and he led the league in rushing four times. In 1997, he was co-MVP with Brett Favre after rushing for 2,053 yards, only the third player to exceed 2,000 yards in a season. He ran for 100 yards or more in 14 consecutive games. "The guy would have held every record in the NFL if he hadn't retired," Elway said. "It's truly an honor to go in with a guy like Barry." Brown, a six-time Pro Bowl tackle for the Eagles, Rams and Raiders, was one of the most fearsome blockers of his time. The second overall pick in the 1964 draft, the 6-foot-4, 280-pounder -- small by today's standards -- was a dominant player until retiring in 1973. "I beat on people from the opening kickoff," Brown once said. "I try to take a toll on them." Eller, a mainstay of the Minnesota Vikings' Purple People Eaters defensive line, played 16 seasons and 225 games. A five-time All-Pro, he used speed and guile to trap quarterbacks long before the sack was an official statistic. Eller, who played in four Super Bowls, joins Vikings defensive linemate Alan Page in the hall. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Elway and Barry were obvious first year inductees. I'm more happy for Barry, as he's the best running back of my generation, and he's one of my favourite players ever. I'm pretty much indifferent to John.

    The OAO Super Bowl Thread

he might be a retarded Crackhead but he's kinda right. anyone that hadn't seen the Cowboys of that era play(very likely a lot of people) would think he's an idiot Translation: Anyone that's ignorant. Believe me, football isn't some new sport making it into the mainstream. "Super Bowl Fans" still use the Cowboys as their first guess as to who is going to be playing. Still, about 90% of the people that watch the NFL today would have seen them play, and would probably have agreed with him.

    Question

I meant that any white person that whines and moans about black people being "allowed" to say nigger while they can't is insecure. If you can't say it, why do you feel the need to say it, as it's not a big deal. I mean, what's the point? Are your rights being taken away because you can't say that word? I'm talking about people that feel this way, and if you happen to fall under this category, then yes, you're probably insecure about your race.

    Question

I've been called things that would count as prejudice (I'm not white, nor can I "pass for one"), but I take it in stride, since I try not to let that sort of thing affect the fact that those racists were in the minority. Slurs don't really bother me, as that's just ignorance. When something actually affects my way of life or causes disturbance, THEN I get pissed. Racial profiling my ass. When I say people that use it, I'm talking about high schoolers just using it to quote a song, or to use it for your friends. I also go to a multicultural school, where there are virtually no "Canadian" white people, or WASPs. It's pretty mixed, and most white people are first generation Canadians with parents from Poland, Italy, whatever. I know of a few who might be offended, but for the most part, it's all good. Of course, slurs go all ways, we're pretty indifferent. To Ant about the white people complaining about not being able to say "nigger"; I know exactly what you mean. I think it's more of an insecurity thing, as they feel deprived in a sense that they can't say something that black people are allowed to say.

    Question

Maybe it's because I'm a teenager, but the majority of people my age don't take the word as seriously as others because it doesn't have the same meaning. Times have changed. I personally don't like whites say nigga/nigger to me, I let them know right off thats a no no because to me its still derogatory and I don't have time to anaylize if they meant it in a endearment way or not. Some blacks are cool with it, thats fine, but don't assume everyone's is cool with the word. Two things: - How old are you? - I said, the "majority". Obviously, not everyone is okay with it, and I also pointed out the majoriy my age. I'm sure that it's different for people that are older than me, as it would've been for people older than them, etc.

    2004 Hall of Fame Class

I don't know about the other two, but there's no chance that I'd put Art ahead of either Elway or Barry. He doesn't have to go ahead of Sanders, Elway, or even Eller. There's no rules that says only 3 players can make it from the writers. I guess so, although Bob Brown was also inducted. But isn't there a maximum amount of players that can be inducted, like six or so? He should definitely have gone in ahead of Lynn Swann though.

    Question

In a way he's right. The word nigger stopped offending people long ago, and is more of a term that all races alike use to acknowledge each other good-naturedly. It's not meant to be taken offensively these days. Of course, there are certain times when it CAN be offensive, but that's not in the majority these days. Then again, I'm sure Illegal alien can be used offensively at some point as well, I just can't figure out how.

    Degrassi The Next Generation

I always wondered why he acted like he was handicapped or something. I guess this is why. You didn't know that?? Dumb jerk! You should be....kicked in the head! BTW I wish Christian referred to the Christian/Jericho/Trish stuff from Raw as an episode of DeGrassi Junior High and not the O.C. Of course, the only people that would get the joke are Canadians who were teens in the 80s, and American kids who watched it every single day in their 7th grade health class. (me) I don't watch the new ones. But I remember in Degrassi High he'd come back and be all "Kindergarten-ish". The episode with him jumping off the bridge seems like it would've been EPIC~! Wish I had seen it. The only thing I don't like about the old show is the inconsistencies in the family life. One episode a girl's father comes to pick her up from prom because she wasn't allowed to go, the next her brother picks her up from a party where she explains that her brother has been the father figure in her life ever since "her dad died ten years ago". Not to mention the kid whose long lost father he dislikes because he abandoned him to play in a band, whereas a few episodes later his parents are both old and die in a car accident, leaving him to live with his anal retentive grandmother. HOW ABOUT SOME CONTINUITY PEOPLE~! But I understand how hard it can be when you have like fifty characters to write for.

    Degrassi The Next Generation

This isn't a Noggin original series to whomever said so, I'm pretty sure this is a CTV thing. I think the main problems with this one is that it's even more melodramatic than Degrassi High. I understand that you need drama, but c'mon. Degrassi Juniour High was a good blend of realism and drama in my opinion, as it didn't go too far. Degrassi High pushed the edge, but was at least somewhat creative. This new show is just lame. Nothing is as bad as Boston Public though. Nothing.

    UFC 46: Super Natural

The "ahem" was because no one seemed to post. I know it was announced, but a poster and all just makes it that much more official, as cards are always subject to change. YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT AFTER YOU MADE A POSTER!~ Besides, the poster looks pretty good in my opinion.
