Here's one that you guys woud LOVE...

Yay! Bump up the Bowling For Columbine post in the Movies folder, and glad to hear you liked the review. I meant that's what I *thought* their fanbase was like, and I wrote later on that I was wrong. I also want to hear about the people that hate them, and also what you thought of the review... -
Encino Man is a movie that I still enjoy watching to this day, really don't know why. Brendan Fraser movies are a guilty pleasure for whatever reason. Orgazmo was pretty funny too.

Goddamnit, can at least ANYONE make a thoughtful post, regarding the review? It won't take very long... -
I'm saying that when Jones gets to his "desired" weight, he will be a lot slower, and also, he only looked that quick when relative to Ruiz, a guy who has been pretty worthless for awhile now. He's giving up a lot when gaining that weight, it's only natural. I'm not saying he'd win, and in fact he'd probably lose. But if he *did* win, it would be mythical due to many factors involved. He still is the best boxer, pound for pound, and it's hard to deny that.

Everyone knows that Jones won't be nearly as effective in the heavyweight division due to the fact that he's losing a considerable amount of speed and quickness in the step-up. Roy Jones was light-heavyweight before correct? Does anyone know of a fighter that made himself famous in a lighter division, than stepped and was still seen as a credible fighter? I don't follow the history so I wouldn't know. I should also point out that it's also funny that his only loss was due to him kicking too much ass, too fast. He might not beat Lewis, but he's still better pound for pound, so what's the problem? If he did beat Lewis, he'd reach mythical proportions in my humble opinion...

I don't know if this counts, but every fucking commercial I see for video games or beer revolves around Andrew WK. It wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't a talentless piece of shit, but there you go.

If you gave a shit, dude would probably fuck it, bust on it, than eat it. Yes, Barron is by far the biggest whiner on the boards, but the funny thing is that he probably doesn't realize it.

Banky is always calling people pathetic for whatever reason, especially Kinetic, perhaps in an effort to raise his own confidence, and also since he's never really dug Kinetic's posts anyway. Ah well, not much you can do, I'm still a fan. Too bad GimmickPoster.Com had to die, he had some potential too.

Thanks for the input first off.... To be honest, I was biased, but when you're reviewing a movie like this one, you have to be. Also, I thought I pointed out that Canadians had as many guns per capita, but the death rate is what I was referring to as the major problem, but I can see where you're coming from. I can see that you found the opening bit immature, but there is a fine line between immaturity and humour in my humble opinion, which I may have crossed. Really, that was just thrown in there for shock value, but I now see why you would have thought it made the review seem juvenile from the get-go. I exaggerated the parts about Rosie and Heston, but again, I did that to lighten up and it isn't meant to be taken to heart. There's some truth though.... You said there's something nice there. Why don't you instill some confidence in me and state what that might be -

I thought I put it in my sig, my bad. Well, there you go anyways. -
Probably like many others, I don't watch the WWE much, but I'm still a big fan of wrestling...

One of you bastards had to have something to say about it.. -
TexasSmallArms is the most annoying by far I think. So many reasons, so little time. Let's just say that she's a metaphor for a WWF Women's Title Match, with special commentary from that bastard Andrew W GAY!!! HAHAHAHHAHAH LOLZ2002 (I should also point out that I wish Scots posted on this board, making it that much more fun). The inevitable sugar coating of this sentiment would be that she might not be this annoying in real life (although she probably is ), but on this board she seems like the touchiest, most self-serving bitch I've ever come across. Just to point out, I don't give a shit about her, I just thought that she fit the title of the thread nicely.

My thoughts exactly.

Now I'm SQUISHING YOUR HEAD! Have you ever seen that skit where they battle, one of my favourites on the show, which was better than SNL in my humble opinion... -
It just seemed weird, as most fans don't really care about the business aspect of things. I like the fact that you're posting these promos, but I'd like to know where ou find them, so I could look them up and check one out whenever I wanted. I'm sure there's got to be a site that just has a list of this shite.

Since we're in NHB, I might as well ask; am I the only one that finds Kylie Minogue to be unattractive? I just don't get it, especially for someone to be as obsessed as Kotz happens to be..

What he said

I can't believe that you guys forgot about the most interesting player, and perhaps biggest difference-maker, in this "fantasy"...Bret Hart.
-
Yeah, sometimes what they say makes no sense, as it's not related to the record, and I feel that they are biased as far as lyrics go, as in if they can't relate to it, no one *should*, lest you be an idiot. Although with Dashboard and JEW, they have a point I must admit. That review of Bleed American is one of the funniest I think. I didn't get the April Fools one with Jars of Clay, but I laughed out loud for the Kylie Minogue one...

The main beef I have with the site is that guys like Schreiber often tend to look too much into the lyrics of an album, rather than talk about the actual music and production. Sometimes he'll give a CD a crappy rating because of it, and devote like most of the column to pointing that out. Read the Smashing Pumpkins, Mellon Collie review. He even said that the music is fantastic, basically. It's weird. The free CDs thing is pretty cool, since they supposedly get them all the time. Most annoying was the Tool review. I didn't know why they gave Lateralus less than 1 when I clicked it, after reading a review about some thirteen year old kid who likes to make theories about math, I still didn't get it.

South Park is actually one of the most intelligent shows on television, as Trey and Matt have so many great episodes relating to "issues", but they wrap it all up like only they can. Who here honestly liked Homer's Phobia more than Sparky the Gay Dog? Exactly.

I Just stumbled across this to realize you're a reviewer at MOTHERFUCKING Pitchfork! What was your name and all that shit, as I'd be curious to read some of your stuff..
-
Well it's obvious that he meant what would happen in the six-man, regardless of whether that's the main event or not. I agree with Brian on this one, as the two factors in the finish should be Angle and Brock, with Angle going over clean (relatively). I see the WWE however booking the end with Brock going over Benjamin and Haas, while Edge and Benoit are worn out, giving the impression that they gave it their all but it just wasn't enough. Brock than does the staredown with Angle, with the other guys out of the picture. They might have a tag match or something, I don't know, but I must admit that this possibility doesn't sound too bad.

"I also remember him saying something to the effect that when he saw Hansen clobber Kobashi with the Greatest Western Lariat Ever during 4/16/93, that he thought Kobashi was dead or something. Turns out he's never seen Kobashi wrestle in '93." I believe that the point he was trying to make is that it was a very good lariat to say the least, and due to his raping of DEAN~!'s STYLE~!, it's hard to tell. As for the second point, he's commented many times on how he's seen very little puro, yet seems to try and recommend stuff. Odds are, he simply reads the review of someone else and recommends something by doing that. At least that's the way I see it. The Meltzer argument has been beaten into the ground so many times, so there's no point in rehashing it again. I will simply say that it reminds me a lot of how one could compare Rolling Stone magazine to Pitchfork Media, in that a bunch of tools who don't feel like thinking use Rolling Stone for their argument, while the rest who read Pitchfork use the music they listen to as their argument. An opinion is only worth its own weight in justifcation.
