I'll tell you this much, I consider myself to be a pretty devout fan of wrestling, and even though I can watch PPVs for free on satellite, I STILL don't watch NWA. If I hear an internet report the next day about how great a match was, I might feel like disappointing myself by watching that specific match on replay and realizing that most people that reviewed it were talking through their ass. Why the hell would I PAY weekly for one good match along with a bunch of crap like the Disciples of Synn or whatever the hell names they have? Why would someone who is a casual fan and won't even watch the same stuff on Smackdown for free watch it? That's why NWA TNA is destined to fail, and the only name I hear people stating that will draw them to the product is...Goldberg, as much as people hate to say it. In my opinion, he still has the curiousity factor going for him, and might be able to draw a few BIG shows, not the weekly crap, but since they can't afford him it's a moot point. These same people would even flock to the WWF if he was on, believe it or not. But I digress. NWA TNA will fail for the reasons I listed above, and there's not much you can do about it. Sorry if I sounded redundant, in reference to any other NWA TNA thread that you guys have had, but I have never gone in one. I hate to sound like those people in the WWF folder like CynicalProfit, who just keep stating facts that we all knew, and that there's no point in even recognizing that argument anymore. I don't mind if I you hate HHH, but at least be creative about it.

I don't know his age exactly, but he's the same age as Scotty Steiner if I remember correctly. Whoever said there was no point hit the nail on the head.

Jordan: "LeBron would be an average player"

I found it kind of cool that Kobe Bryant took Brandy to HIS high school prom, before he stepped foot in the NBA(obviously)... -
WCW songs based on real ones-?

The nWo midcarder theme used a rip-off of a Jimmy Hendrix riff, I believe from "Hey Joe". -
My fault, I just glanced through it, so I suppose I mixed up the names. Even though this probably shouldn't be in the puro folder, I will add it anyway since it's relevant to that board. Check out the Flair GOAT thread, since it's an interesting debate on the greatness(or lack thereof) of Flair.

"Sabu V. Sandman" Was he joking when he said that was one of his favourite matches ever? I had gone into that thread so many times, and I've always wondered. It seems odd for the guy who started the "Kawada" trend, so to speak...

Ok, forget Kazaa, if you want my matches...

Finally done exams, so I will be on the computer a little more... I have about seven gigs, including stuff from all over the world, although I should point out to save space on my hard drive I delete them just AFTER burning them as data. I will get a list up, so if you guys want anything specific, you could PM me or something, because I do turn off my computer. I look forward to working with you -
There's a first time for everything, which also happens to be the phrase I utter to myself every time I look at my avatar. Man, now I'm depressed...

I believe that this will be one of the best super bowls ever, matching the ones recently that featured the Rams. I honestly can't pick one or the other, but since i like the Raiders(and the whole team image that they have, and have had since their beginning) I am going to pick them. I think Gannon will be MVP, and it would be especially nice since Marcus is going to be inducted into the hall and all that.

I'm actually thinking that the Pepsi Rookie of the year award will have more credibility than the actual AP one. C'mon, No other rookie compared to Shockey. Biggest team impact, plus most promising tight end since Tony Gonzalez. This guy lived up to the hype, leaving us to wonder what Alge Crumpler is doing right now...

Can't go wrong with Johnny Cash, as it's the shit and is also very different from whatever it may be that you are listening to right now. Although many will probably be turned off by the fact that it's "country". Whatever.

Jesus, you're an idiot. But it's worthless for me to argue with you so I won't point out why, you know, since I'm such a whiny bitch. Linkin Park is everything that they were made out to be in this thread and than some. Anyway, I thought Nirvana was actually underrated by most on this board. It's not like anyone reads Rolling Stone anyway....

Jesse Ventura's Arm Wrestling Contest
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I remember hearing on WCW Nitro about how Scott Norton was a legit Arm Wrestling champion, like world class or something. Of course, TONY SCHIAVONE was the one who mentioned it, so take that with just a wee bit of salt... -
If any of you have kazaa and want matches...

I still don't get how we can search for the username. -
^^^^^^You serious? That might have been the one I got wrong. Damn, I Never heard anyone call him that before. Seriously, never, not even on TSN or ESPN or anything. How did you check for the ones you got wrong? I couldn't find out how, so I Madea guess as to which I got wrong...
-
I got one wrong, which is probably the one about the Grey Cup, since I never watch the CFL. Of course I'm Canadian, but still, I found this test to be too easy, with the only question I guessed on being the one I got wrong, which shouldn't count damnit! Ah well, I still be da man....

Heh, KroniK wasn't even good enough for the shit that we get in the WWF today, and here they near the top of the card. Funny stuff.

I know a few people who are in similar cases, but I don't give a shit about them enough to notice. She sounds a little weird, and I'd suggest for you to run away, and run very fast before she drags you down to burn in hell with her.

Back in elementary school, I used to play something called "tackle soccer" in the snow, which was played exactly the same way as you'd expect. You know how sometimes when you're walking on an uneven surface or some shit, and your ankle might just give a little, causing it to be sore? I don't know how to explain it, but anyway, something that I was always embarrassed about was when I was nine and my underdeveloped ankles were scrambling around dodging the ball, when all of a sudden....*CRACK* I broke my ankle after being so exhausted that I barely had the energy to move my feet properly. I didn't think anything was wrong though, I just kept on going through the day like normal, till I realised that I couldn't put on my shoe due to the swelling. I was never athletic, but I loved Dodgeball/Medic/King's Court/Whatever for the simple reason that I didn't have to be. So yeah, I've played rugby, football, wrestling, and have never suffered an injury...except for that broken ankle I suffered while playing MOTHERFUCKING DODGEBALL! I don't know whether that would be a case for or against, depending on your bias, but Goddamnitt, I loved that game. Every kid should play it. God Bless Canada, and its Dodgeball loving ways.

So if they have to remove a piece of his brain, how much of a difference would that make in his life? Would he still be a vegetable, or just have a handicap that isn't as bad? I'm glad to hear that he will turn out fine however...
-
How is he a sellout? There's always a good jazz station on the radio, and odds are if you're as unfamiliar with it as you claim, you should something new to like everyday.
-
Sorry I meant John, but I believe I mixed that up with "John" Reed. Or something. I really don' t know. Anybody care on explaining what acid jazz is? I never got that.
-
Even the supposed "good" girls who get high grades and are relatively high on morals and shit drink sometimes, and even dabble a little with weed. I just find that weird since they don't seem like that at all. I would hate to know what the REAL druggies are into...

Why "Lou Coltrane?" I understand the point about Waits however. There's so much jazz stuff that I listen to, but most of it's a bunch faceless artists scattered across compilation CDs. Also, there is very many styles, some of it being carried by the piano, others being carried by solos on the guitar that last like five minutes literally. Nonetheless, some names I'm familiar with are Sonny Criss, Woody Shaw, and Jimmy Ponder to name a few, of course I haven't heard very much as I pointed out earlier.
