Just out of curiousity, what makes you feel that Harley Race was that good? I'm not very familiar with stuff from a different era, but I always heard many wild stories about him.
-
Which is your favourite Nirvana Album? Besides, I always thought it was about the right place and time, since if "Smells like Teen Spirit" came out today, you probably would lump it with all that other crap too...
-
Kinetic, different from much of what stuff? I always thought Puddle of Mudd was Alice In Chains Version 0.1, or something. Layne Staley sounds just like that Wes guy, or vice-versa...

'When you not even use proper grammer asking the retarded question you are probably going to get smartass comments' seems like pretty shitty grammar to me as well. Not that I give a shit. Sometimes people type fast, and they make a few mistakes. If you want to make fun of the poor bastard, do it because he's a dumb fuck, not because he may have been typing with one hand, thereby making the error, all due to the fact that he was staring at increasingly stimulating gay pr0n in a different window on his computer screen. Jesus H. Christ, it's called tact PEOPLE~!

Well, being Kurious in Kentucky, I was wondering if that poor bastard has ever thought of shaving off his mullet during a moment of weakness?? -
The first time I heard it, I was actually a little surprised. Before they played it on the radio, they said it was recorded sometime in 1994, while I feel the song has the sound of most of the stuff on Bleach. Kinda weird..

^^^The Head of No Ma'am, although he doesn't seem to make a big deal out of it. Almost as if he's ASHAMED~! (Marney)^^^I actually do know people with cancer, but within its context, your name is inoffensive. It was all just one big joke really...

I know, I know... Lex Luger v. Mean Mark Callous On a more serious note, what's the name of the Midnights' theme in WCW? I know that it's a regular song, but I can't figure out the real name. www.bobbyeaton.com is where you can go to find it if you don't remember. Any advice is appreciated.

^^^Is unable to take an innocent joke, and sounds like someone who would kill me. Literally.

^^^Oddly enough, changed her name to fit an illness that takes the lives of God knows how many people every year. Cigarette Smoking Marney wouldn't have been as bad...

Thanks for the info. I always thought that it 0wned Flair-Vader, and pretty much anything from the WWF at the time. The only ones above it are the Sting-Vader strap match, and supposedly this Windham match from the same year. My memory is a bit hazy, and it's not like I actually watched these matches in 1993, so I would not know. I guess that makes it a US motyc, barring some suggestions from others. Btw Tim, elaborate on why the Windham match is as good as you make it sound...

^^^Obviously meant "of the 90s", since no one takes on Johnny U...

There aren't any titles left to give him. No way they'd give him a world title right away. I doubt they would've given him the IC either, because that would be a step down, but that's neither here nor there...

Superstars speak out on the "new signee"...
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Wait, who's this yoga enthusiast? Richards takes whatever they want him to, he was on his way to being a good-great worker(if he fulfilled all of his potential) until Terry Funk fucked up his vertebrae permanently by piledriving on a chair. That sucks. On the upside, Gary Busey, star of such classics as Tommy Boy, and the 'B' movie of the month, is now posting on this board. WHOO~! -
^^^Is wrong, I was actually studying. It's hard because I rarely study, if at all...

I actually think Benoit had a MOTYC in '93 against Scorpio, but I can't remember when. Kinda funny since he didn't spend much time there...

^^^Is also a Christian

Wn a night on the town with former WWeF star..

I was waiting for that joke. I still think Ahmed owns him in the "Fit guy who became a fatass" race. I mean c'mon, Ahmed sunk so low, or I guess his weight flew so high, that he acted as Suge Knight in a MC Hammer 'C' movie biopic, that aired on the FX Network, or USA. You know, one of those crappy channels. I know that there's no such thing as a 'C' movie. I just tried to get the point across that it was really bad, much worse than a 'B' movie. I'm talking Backyard Dogs bad:( ....... None of this changes the fact that Brutus is sill one big loser fatass though. -
I totally forgot about the Southern Boys/Express match in 1990, which is pretty much standing alone that year as far as NA. Just outta curiousity, what star ratings would you give to most of the big matches from 1994, and a few other ones that we've been discussing? That tag match still hasn't been mentioned, that involving Luger/Sting and the Steiners...
-
Oh, my bad. I forgot that in 1992, Luger actually faced Sting in a forgettable match from what I heard, sending him out of the company. He did not team with him in an unforgettable match, as others put it anyway. That tag match has got to be severely overrated. I mean it isn't even funny. I think I might be missing something, anyone else care to shed the light? I guess I should say that I didn't pick Lucha, due to the fact that, in all honesty, I haven't seen much. From what I have seen though, is awesome. I always forget the date, but I believe it's the "When Worlds Collide" PPV, with Art Barr and Eddie Guerrero facing off against El Hijo Del Santo and Octagon. Sometime in 1994. Definite **** match at least, and high end MOTYC in my opinion. As far as 1990 goes, since I didn't pick a match for it, I can't pick one now, since nothing stands out for me. 1991 is the same, but I would have to go with Bret/Perfect from Summerslam, as that was pretty damn good. I really didn't reply to anyone, just adding stuff I missed. I recently realized how psychologically rich Piper/Hart is from Wrestlemania VIII, and how much better it is than people give it credit for. It has one of the best stories ever shown in a WWF ring, and it has layers after fucking layers. Great fucking match. I need to rewatch it to solidify my opinion, but I am pretty sure I will not change this opinion.

What's the joke on Nova?
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in General Wrestling
Aww shit, this joke is just as bad as Nova, who, in all seriousness, probably invented how to be a shitty spot machine, spawning Sabu and a few others. Or *gasp*, maybe Sabu invented it, and Nova copied him? Poor Nova, his reputation is tarnished... -
I'm happy for two reasons: 1) I'm always intrigued when they sign a big name who hasn't been seen in awhile. Now, I don't mean like at NWO 2002, but as long as they were WCW-only(mostly) like DDp, Steiner, or Booker, it brings back good memories of great undercard action... being buried by five of the previous six guys I mentioned. That's neither here nor there, and this should still inject some new life into the product, at least for the short term. 2) As for the long term, this will probably fuck them over. Scott Steiner can't work, and is therefore the opposite of what the WWF needs to do to get back on top. That means that they will fail, and being the odd son of a bitch that I am, to witness this would entertain me more than anyhing they've done within the past two years.

^^^Has a non-homosexual crush on EL DANDY~!...OR DOES HE~!

I understand what you're saying, but I still can't imagine a guy who barely weighed 200 lbs soaking wet, taking out a guy who was 300 lbs plus. Besides, Sid didn't exactly get to where he is naturally either. The only way I can see it, is if Pillman was similar to Dynamite Kid, in the way that he used to kick people's asses...
