Who would you say has the best corner tandem in the leauge. To have two good corners allows the rest of the D to excell (see Surtain/Madison).I think the Ravens combo of Rolle/McAlister will allow the Ravens to do some great things on D this year. They plan to blitz alot and having two execellent CB's to leave on a island can make that possible. So who do you think ha the best tandem?

Anyone else miss the "good old days" of 2000?
Prime Time Andrew Doyle replied to Jingus's topic in General Wrestling
Was that the show that Benoit dropped HHH when he was in the car on top of the forklift? I think what made 2000 so good was the opening four PPV's of the year. The ME's had unbelievable heat and everybody worked their asses off to create the success -
Anybody got a link to the DVDVR thread?

Jags lock up Stroud for 5 years Stroud, Jags agree on five-year extension Defensive tackle Marcus Stroud, one of the most dominating interior linemen in the NFL, now has a contract to match his status as one of the league's burgeoning young stars. Stroud on Thursday signed a five-year contract extension through 2010 with the Jacksonville Jaguars, making the the four-year veteran the NFL's highest paid player at his position. The extension was negotiated by agent Drew Rosenhaus. This is what I wanted because, honestly, I felt like I was the best tackle in the league," said Stroud, who has made the Pro Bowl squad the past two seasons, early Thursday evening. "The thing I have to do now, though, is play up to the contract. A lot of guys, they get a deal like this, and they think it's over. For me, the responsibility has just begun. I can get even better, be a more dominant player, and that is what I intend to do." There was one year remaining on Stroud's original NFL contract, signed when he was the Jaguars' first-round choice in the 2001 draft, and he was scheduled under that deal to have a base salary of $2.12 million for 2005. The six-year contract that results from the new extension totals $31.5 million. There is an initial signing bonus of $6.5 million and then, five days after the contract is officially executed, Stroud will receive a $3.2 million roster bonus. A second roster bonus, worth $2.5 million, is due on March 1, 2006. Stroud, just 26, already pocketed a roster bonus of $300,000 last month that was part of his original contract. The contract's base salaries are $540,000 (2005), $545,000 (2006), $1.415 million (2007), $5 million (2008), $5.5 million (2009) and $6 million (2010). The base salaries for 2005 and 2006 are guaranteed and Stroud can earn $100,000 in offseason workout bonuses in each of the first three years of the extension. So between the 2005-2007 seasons, Stroud will earn $15 million, with nearly all of that in guaranteed money. In terms of the per-year average over the entire term of the contract, the deal tops the one signed last year by Detroit Lions defensive tackle Shaun Rogers. Both Stroud and Rosenhaus acknowledged the timing of the extension was key. Had the star defensive tackle played out his original contract, and extension talks stalled, the club might have used the franchise designation on Stroud next spring. That would have limited Stroud's mobility and could have led to some acrimony. Rosenhaus has been working on the extension with Jacksonville officials, principally vice president Paul Vance, for several months. A former University of Georgia star, Stroud has appeared in 64 games and started 48 of them, including every outing in the past three years. He has 322 tackles, 13½ sacks, seven forced fumbles and two recoveries. He and John Henderson, the team's first-round pick in 2002, form the NFL's most imposing young tackle tandem. The latest twist in the Schiavo case.......
Prime Time Andrew Doyle replied to NoCalMike's topic in Current Events
I find it really weird that Schiavo won't let the family take care of her. Presumably he has nothing to lose or gain if she dies, so why is he fighting so hard for her to die. I also saw in that article about a half a page up which sort of implied that he may have had something to do with her state. Is that a genuine opinion, or could it just be a random speculation -
The FUCK do the Jags need help on their d-line for? You can't have enough good ends, especially with the fact the Jags D-Line only had 11.5 sacks last year, although if I was in charge of the Jags, I would have taken CB Carlos Rogers from Auburn.

With the 19th Pick, The St. Louis Rams select Jammal Brown Offensive Tackle Oklahoma Senior 6'6 | 313 | 5.20 40 Yard Dash HOME TOWN: Lawton, OK HIGH SCHOOL: MacArthur Analysis: Tall and lean tackle who is very athletic and technically sound. Sets his feet up very well with a nice base and has is very quick with his movement. Has very long arms and is able to use them to keep defenders away from his body. Has good strength and is rarely off balance and is almost never overpowered. As a run blocker, Brown is a good straight ahead pile mover. He stays low and drives defenders and does a nice job of finishing off blocks strongly. Playing in a system where WR screens and short slants are common, he's often cutting defenders to avoid having those passes batted down, something he likely will not do at the NFL level. He's played the right side every year at OU and that will be his position in the pros. Overall: Has the size and athletic ability along with the technique to be a top NFL tackle for years. Most NFL teams looking for a tackle in the top 10 will tend to look towards left tackles since that is the right handed QB's blind side, but that shouldn't keep Brown from being a top 15-20 selection.

Exclusive pics of Kotzenjunge
Prime Time Andrew Doyle replied to Modern Man's Hustle's topic in No Holds Barred
I only give out my name on the internet to people I trust; and you, sir, have failed miserably in that regard. There are millions of potheads in this country, and there are even more millions in this country that contribute to the economy. Kotz is far from what I'd call a pothead, but seeing as you're lacking in finding a way to insult him, I can see why you'd try to make that assumption (especially when you deem BUYING NEW FURNITURE thread-worthy, your life must be pretty fucking meaningless, as well). As such, it is a waste of time to use generalizations in this instance, since it's quite obvious you: - Have no sense of humor whatsoever - Have drawn the ire of quite a few people and have yet to grasp it - Rely on others for help rather than solving problems on your own, as evidenced by you being a cocksucker narc (to quote Agent). I could go on, but this is what I could come up with off the top of my head for now. You just might possibly be the absolute worst fucking poster I have ever seen on this board, and that's saying quite a lot considering the shit that has flushed down these pipes. It's not even just simple things like grammar or spelling, because you do seem to grasp the English language, as unfortunate as it is for those of us having to put up with your inane ramblings, terrible jokes, and lame putdowns. You sort of left that post hanging, like more was meant to come -

Public Version of Saddam's Capture Faked?
Prime Time Andrew Doyle replied to Skywarp!'s topic in Current Events
I think that Mr. Doyle meant that INXS is not only known for being anti-American, but also quite the anti-semite as well. I didn't really mean the Anti-Semite, but if the shoe fits -
"Game Over" by Joe Buddens was a hot track getting at Game.

Public Version of Saddam's Capture Faked?
Prime Time Andrew Doyle replied to Skywarp!'s topic in Current Events
Does anybody else think that if you told INXS that he U.S was responsible for every evil act in the world, he would agree. He has gotten beyond a joke now. He is just plain boring. No matter how flawed the theory is, INXS is always spewing his racist Anti-American comments and opinions.
