    Well thats ..........weird

My homepage whenever I log onto the ent is yahoo.com.au, so I can just get a quick check on the headlines. Now, as my net is slow the page will load up bit by bit, and because Im bored from waiting, I casually glance at the screen and see one of the most weirdest, random things. One of the search highlights is "paedophile register". Now this may be dumb to others, but how in the hell can a paedophile register be a "Search Highlight". I mean, Im sure maybe one or two people would search, but I just cant see hundreds of people searching for it on the net

    The End of SD! Usefulness

I don't think putting The Undertaker back in the World Title picture will help. Deadman or not, he is through, and giving him another run at the belt is not a smart move. He should have retired after WMXX, instead of keeping on. He is not getting any younger, yet he continues holding onto a top spot. In any other sport, when a guy gets to old, he will be cut or released. With all this talk of McMahon being such a ruthless buisnessman, he should live up to his reputation and tell the Taker that his time is up. He has not really shown a willingness to help put over younger guys and is buying into his own hype, refusing to step down. For the SD! World title, put somebody like Booker in there, who is experienced, yet is still some sort of fresh face on SD! Or try and bring some in grown talent like what was done with Randy Orton on Raw. When times are tough like this, they dont need to go back to the old faces who hleped in the past. They realised it with Austin, they need to do the same with UT. Any short term gain needs to be weighed up against the potential long term loss that could happen by pushing UT rather than a new talent

Bradshaw Causes Incident At House Show

How the fuck can something like this get to 10 pages. Peoples hatred for Bradshaw is making this a much bigger issue than it really is. Most sensible people would look at what he did and say "Hmm, he tried to get heat for his charcter, albeit in a tastless way, oh well". Anybody who takes saw what Bradshaw did and than thinks "OMG Hes such a racist bastard" really needs to stop and think about the situation clearly. Did you get that way when you saw Ed Nortons charcter in "American History X"? If you were smart, you wouldn't have. You would realise that he was playing a bad guy character. Doesy anybody read Scotsmans site and think that he really hates blacks and all other minorites? No, you realise that he does it to show people how stupid it is to get worked up over things like that. The fact of the matter was that he was PORTRAYING A BAD PERSON. A bad person does that sort of thing. While it may not have been very tasteful, it was done. This is just people making a mountain out of a molehill BTW a pre-emptive Fuck you to anybody who in any way tries to misconstrue this as defending Nazis. That isnt at issue here, so dont bring it up

    Too much drama

In 2 weeks, I have my Year 12 formal. The girl who I asked to go with me, has something on and can't go, now leaving me without a date, or anybody who I can go with, seeing as though most tof the girls I know are already going. Now that leaves me with three situations. I could a) Go by myself, which while bad, is also about $120 cheaper b) I Could not go at all or c) Ask out this girl who catches my train, but who Ive nevr actually spoken to before, yet we are constantly checking each other out, but neither of us has actually had the balls to speak to the other one Now, Im leaning towards options a&c. I went with the girl who I was going to go with this year to my Year 11 social, but seeing as though she didnt really know anybody, it was kind of awkward as I split my time between being with her, and being with the boys. Option C is probably unlikely, because the girl hasn't caught my train for the past week, and that seeing as though I haven't even spoke to her, I don't even know if she is close to my age, because one day she looks like she could be in Year 12 and the next she looks like she is in Year 10. Now, originally, I was not even thinking about going to the Formal, and just going to the After party, but our new Vice Principal is ghey and is threatening anybody who orgainises it or attends the AP will be suspended. Now this is suppposedly (sp?) because the Police called our Principle and told them that anybody involved in the AP would be charged. So now with the prospect of no AP, Im most likely got to choose from one of the three options, only problem is, which one do I choose?

I think the schools sgtance is that it will hurt the schools reputation if the party gets busted by the cops.

    Too much drama

The thing with the AP is that some of the people who were going to orgainise it are Prefects and Officers, so if they get caught they are gonna get fucked for it, and because nobody had the balls to stand up to them when they banned our Year 11 AP, they are reluctant to take the VP on. A Year 12 from last year owns a Pub, so if nobody orgainises it, we might just got there. If this years formal is like the Year 11 social, than what it is is you get there, you sit on a table, eat a meal, and than you just get up and dance or wander basically.

    Terrorists Hit a New Low

Well, If anything, the way things are in this thread is sort of similar to the way things are in the Isreal-Palestine conflict., both sides thinking they are right, coming to a small compromise, than back arguing, thinking they are right

    Australian PM "Pulls A Bush"

BAGHDAD (AFP) - Prime Minister John Howard, emulating his friend US President George W Bush, made a secret visit to Iraq to join Australian troops in the national Anzac Day commemoration of his country's war dead. The Sunday visit, which for security reasons was kept secret until he landed before dawn at Baghdad airport with a planeload of journalists, was his first to the country since he committed troops to the US-led invasion last March. He attended a dawn service at Baghdad airport, where the control tower is staffed largely by Australian air traffic controllers, and spent some time talking to troops, diplomats and other civilian expatriates. Most of the troops gathered for the service knew there would be a VIP guest, but were not told who it would be. Australia, which committed 2,000 troops to the invasion last March, currently has some 850 still serving in Iraq. They include soldiers protecting Australia's expatriate community or instructing Iraqi service volunteers, as well as air force air traffic controllers and naval crews in the Gulf. Australia's main opposition party has pledged to withdraw troops from Iraq by Christmas, saying the forces were not central to the peacekeeping effort in the country. National elections are due late this year and Labor is leading the conservative government in opinion polls. But Howard, a strong supporter of the US-led invasion, remains staunchly committed to keeping Australian military personnel in the country. Howard said last week that Australia had not been asked to send more troops and was not planning to do so, but stopped short of ruling out reinforcing its contingent. He told reporters aboard his flight that Australia's commitment in Iraq would be funded until at least June 30, 2005 and said they would not be withdrawn soon. Howard's visit mirrored a similar trip to Iraq under a cloak of secrecy by Bush for Thanksgiving Day last November. To maintain security, Howard had been listed to appear at the Anzac Day ceremony in Canberra until Sunday morning, when Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson arrived as a last-minute replacement. Howard, who was accompanied by assistant defence minister Mal Brough and Defence Force chief General Peter Cosgrove, said in a statement that his trip was his way of recognising the efforts of Australia's military personnel. The Australian Broadcasting Corp reported that Howard thanked the forces personnel for their service to their country and to Iraq in what he said was a just cause. "You are seeking to bring to the people of Iraq who have suffered so much for so long, the hope of liberty and the hope of freedom, and your example, your behaviour, your values, belong to that great and long tradition that was forged on the beaches of Gallipoli in 1915," he said. Australian Defence Association head Neil James said Howard's visit would be a boost for troop morale. "I think it will give them quite a good boost for the simple reason that he's the man who sent them there and it's always good to get a visit from the boss," James told Sky News. Anzac Day commemorates the day in 1915 when men of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) landed with British forces on Turkey's Gallipoli peninsula in a bid to bid to knock Turkey out of World War I. The campaign bogged down in a disastrous eight-month battle that ended in defeat and withdrawal of the allied forces. Some 10,000 ANZAC troops were killed in action, nearly a quarter of the allied total, while many died of disease and privation. Turkey lost 87,000 troops killed. credit: Yahoo.com.au ................................................................................ ............. Personaly, I think good on him. Even though some people will see it as a ploy to get votes for the election this year, I think that it was good of him to go visit our troops on a day where we remember our past service men and woman, and let them know that we support them.

Need a QB? Kurt Warner's Available

To be fair to Warner, in the season opener, Martz had him throw the ball 54 for times (In which he completed 34 of them, for 342 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT) While Marshall rushed only 9 times and the team itself rushed 13 times. With him being sacked 6 times, that means that roughly 60 throing plays were called against 13 running plays. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what will happen. I dont think even the Redskins under Spurrier tried something to that extent. Also, in 2002, he still completed over 60% of his passes. He always through INTs, even during the Rams glory run, 22 in the year they lost to the Pats. If I were Martz, I would have kept Warner over Bulger, or atleast given him a better chance, rather then have him drop back to pass 60 times in a game, . The fact is, Bulger lost a home playoff game to the Panthers. They didn't lose a home game all year, yet they lost in the 2nd OT after Bulger threw a INT, and the drive resulting from that was the drive in which Smith got the TD.

10 Contractors Being Held Hostage In Iraq

Its idiots like SEX who give Australians like me a bad name. Bad spelling and grammer, he uses even worse arguments. Thank fuck he got banned and was stopped from making us all look like dickheads with our heads in the sand. On a side note, why do half of the Australians who post on message boards love using the worl "mate" so much. Seriously, when speaking, yes it is acceptable, but when you are typing, there is no need. Speaking, it will just fall out of your mouth, but typing, you gotta type that word out, it isn't an accidental thing, you deliberatly type out the word "mate"

With the 26th pick in the TSM Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams are proud to select Antwan Odom One of the most underrated defensive linemen in the country … A player who displays all the qualities of Crimson Tide standouts from the past; the power of a John Copeland, the quickness of an Eric Curry and the lateral agility of a Marty Lyons … The recipient of the team's Dwight Stephenson Most Valuable Lineman Award, Odom appeared in 39 games during his Crimson Tide career, registering 98 tackles (63 solos) with 21 sacks for minus-141 yards, 26½ stops for losses of 165 yards and 40 quarterback pressures … Only Eric Curry (22½, 1990-92) and Derrick Thomas (52, 1985-88) had more sacks in a career for Alabama … Also had four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, five pass deflections and a pair of blocked kicks. THE OAO AFL 2004 Thread

I dont think that last nights game will have a bearing (sp?) on their season. They lost to them 2 years ago in the opener. They were also missing Lockyer & Rocca, while Woewodin & Burns as well as Didak(I think) didn't play a game in the Wizard Cup. Besides, Richmond nor St. Kilda will make the 8 this year. People who compare this years St. Kilda to Collingwood from 2002 forget they are missing the one thing that helped Collingwood get there, which is their coach. Grant Thomas is nowhere near the type of coach who will get what Malthouse got out of his. Of course, I could care less so long as my Bulldogs don't finish last this year. With Rawlings, Koops, Ray & Cooney, as well as having Grant back this year, we will make the 8
