Because the longer the apologists stick around and watch a bad product because "it could be worse" and "well there's a few things I like" the longer the rest of us have to stop watching. Thats a pretty ignorant statement being that we consist of a very small percentage of wrestling fans. Even if we all stop watching what about all the over fans? And besides, it's not like we're forcing you guys not to watch. It's your own decision to not watch, and thats fine but dont bitch about other people watching.

He's got some serious bloodclotting in his vena cava, and he's probably never gonna wrestle again. He needs to be on constant medication and fluid and even then the clot won't dissolve until 9-11 months later
-
If he wants pay $17.95 for a PPV let him pay and be happy to watch it. Why do some people here have to constantly jump on someone just because they're not a whining, complaining hater like they are.
-
I dont think it's cool to pick on Downhome just because he was excited about Dragon coming to WWE and was gonna order the PPV. If any of you guys have a problem with WWe and dont watch or dont ever order thats cool, but don't criticize people for actually looking forward to something that was stated as truth. It just makes you guys look foolish and childish.
-
I knew he wasnt gonna have a match... They're gonna build him up first. Maybe we'll see a vignette hyping him up at the PPV. I don't think thats worth $35, but i'll still be watching it. My friend is ordering it so i'll just mooch off of his generosity.

Glen Gilberti is NOT a main eventer right now. H'es entertaining ad good but not at that top level yet. It's obvious the Harris Boys are leading into a racism angle right now. Nazi type angle. You can tell by the interrogator segment. The most entertaining guy right now to my surprise is Kid Kash. The guy is looking good and if anything he should be a world title shot. Sonny Maivia (oops i mean Siaki) needs to start NOT looking like the Rock. A blatant ripoff

shit anything is better than "The New The National Network"

I think i European title introduction spelled the end of the IC title. They couldnt decide if one was higher then the other or they were equal. Hardcore Holly, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, chyna, Test, had no right feuding for the IC title.

to be honest...he's starting to grow on me. A-Train's moveset isnt that bad, especially for a hoss. I can deal with him as long as he's not being pushed to main events.

WWE want Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero
LooseCannon25 replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Hey being Olympic Hero and Born in East LA gimmicks are stale & old. Yeah, because Kurt's had a real problem in his roles due to being boring and stale--I don't think so. He had a recent heel turn which was his first time as a serious heel contender. Eddy recently turned and became part of a face team that LIES, CHEATS, and STEALS!! Which are both fresher than most of the personas in WWE, like the uber-stale Dudley Boyz, the Undertaker biker persona which he's had for over 3 years and has not changed in the slightest bit, and the Rock prior to his heel turn. How are Eddy and Angle supposed to convince the SD guys everything is fine? Things aren't fine, things are getting extremely shitty. How the hell can yo say undertaker and the Dudley Boyz gimmicks havent changed.....have you forgotten....Undertaker cut his hair and Buh-Buh Ray Dudley doesnt wear pants anymore, he wears shorts now. That should be enough -
Ultimo Dragon to wear new mask in WWE
LooseCannon25 replied to Ultimo Dugas's topic in The WWE Folder
I think the mask is cool as hell. It's got nice design and it looks like its made of dragon skin. No complaints by me so far -
I think it's good that some of his personality is starting to shine now. Like walking to the ring with a smile on his face pointing to the title. I think he would be good in a cocky, yet monster role. Also, when i saw that F-5 on Randy Orton after the flying body press i was amazed. That was one of the most impressiv ethings i've ever seen in a ring. This guys gonna be huge Hopefully, Brock's ringowrk at agility will be a testament in the future for big guys in the business....they would have to also be quick, and talented......wishful thinking i know

Now, i know Attitude and Stone Cold and the whole era was the boom of the wrestling industry and brought WWE back to dominance, but could it be that it's what caused the downfull of wrestling when all is said and done. Attitude was all about shorter matches and longer promos, and i personally didnt like seeing 20 minute in ring promos with 2 minute matches surrounding it. It also marked the end of the jobber squashes in which now two great wrestlers when they fight each other, have already fought several times in a one year period. Even though WWF was bad in 95-96 i still preferred the longer matches and less talk. So, my question is where do you guys stand on this?
-
More accurately, who wouldn't be loyal when they wouldn't be allowed to bring their character to another fed at a time when said fed was signing a bunch of guys from the WWF. I agree......I think a lot of the reason Taker didn't leave was because he was made famous as The Undertaker, not "Mean" Mark Callous or The Punisher. If he went back to WCW he would have been a regular generic guy with bad mic skills, and would have gotten lost in the Backstage shuffle.
-
Damn, perhaps you should have a career in writing or something. That's a hell of a lot!!!! Good stuff, and I like the analysis. You're on point
-
Yeah, but Brock LEsnar actually has ABILITY, and a great wrestling background. Nathan Jones can't even execute a spin kick without missing it or looking totally lost. You can't compare the two. I think Johnny Ace is the new Head of Talent. Hopefully, this will be a good thing as Hoss Ross can't push for A-Train, STeiner, Jones, Batista anymore
-
its thanks to good ol JR that we have Nathan Jones, A-Train, and other hosses stinking up the tv. I'm glad he is being replced as head of talent. Maybe we'll see signing of some good workers and not hoss heaven. He sucks as an announcer too by the way. Anyway, back to topic. Nathan Jones needs to go, and go now. He sucks in the ring, he always will and he has a bad attitude and isnt willing to learn. Send him to OVW and if he doesnt get it shitcan him.
-
With the way it is now a superstar has to lose every match. You know what gets on my damn nerves more than anything that was introduced in the Attitude era..........the damn "MOMENTS AGO" and "EARLIER TONIGHT" replay clips. When something happens, and you go to commercial...i don't need you to show me what just happened 2 minutes ago when you come back on the air. I also don't need you to replay the clip again 30 minutes later. Maybe its just me but that shit annoys the hell out of me. IT's like they think we have amnesia or something

Exactly, I'll take the old school feuds which were built with time and made sense back anyday. I miss the SPORT of wrestling. WWE doesnt give us the sport....it gives us a ENTERTAINMENT SHOW, and while many casual fans enjoy the stupid sexist, t&A, shockTV, and dumb storylines I would have to imagine just as many if not more enjoy the sport of it. The competitive spirit with 2 guys going out there for 10-20 telling astory in the ring and busting their asses. I think its time to turn a new leaf and go back to WRESTLING first and show second because, while the attitude era pulled in good ratings and buyrates, it's pretty evident by the numbers that the interest is gone now with that crap.

Did't Steph even give a creative meeting a few days or weeks back basically telling the writers to keep their mouths shut and go along with what they're given? It proves that all they want is yes men
-
I have no freakin idea........i just remember it was thrown around A LOT last year
-
By the way.....are we still in the Ruthless Agression age or what? Whats the deal?
-
but, didnt he lay the ground work for the feud culminating at the Rumble. I may be wrong
-
You didn't say that in your first post. And what PPV did he main event again? I consider him main eventing the Royal Rumble since it was the Smackdown main event, and for the WWE (Real) Title.
-
It's simple.....all they have to do is open their eyes and ears and they would see Jericho is hugely over right now. The guy comes down tog reat heat and pops also. It also seems in most matches he's in he has the crowd cheering HIM towards the end. Benoit and Eddie Guerrero get standing ovations on the other show......but, who gets the constant high card pushes. Test and A-Train who will NEVER EEEEEEEEEVER get over despite numerous gimmick changes, face and heel turns and pushes for each.
