Yeah, used to get NWA:Wildside every week on my TV but they took it off the air for some reason. Jeff G Bailey was very entertaining as was Jason Cross, AJ Styles, Jimmy Rave, and Jeremy Lopez.

I would take the old days as far as storylines and gimmicks. the storylines were great back then and built up so properly. I think the gaps between big shows back then has a lot to do with it too. Nowadays, these guys have about 3 weeks to build their feud, where as opposed to the old school they would have months to build.

I would imagine its hard to shoot on a 400-500 pounder.
-
Hell, i agree with you. TNA is alot more entertaining right now and you're right about Rave at least be main eventing, but they got someone on the top who has been champion for several months and barely wrestles, and books himself to overcome all the bullshit. I have a problem with that. Now with that being said AJ Styles, and Ron Killings are gonna be huge one day.
-
Size does not matter............for instance look at a guy like Tazz......5'7", but the guy is an expert in judo, and the advantage of being small is the low center of gravity.....he'll destroy Nash. It's all about positioning and leverage

Hell every day should be boycott WWE day. It's worked wonders for me. Yeah, I'll stick with TNA. I hear you may even see people with talent get world title shots/pushes! Oooooooooh.....you must be talking about that push that Raven got where he had 4 guys beat up Jeff Jarrett, beat him with weapons, gave him not 1 but 2 Raven Effects, and still lost the match with a weak ass Stroke. Great push.................Jeff Jarrett is just as bad as Triple H, but at least HHH wrestles every once in a while. Jarrett wrestles once a month, and when he does he goes over 5 guys, being attacked by weapons, and several finishers........and still Wins!!!!! Or Perhaps it's Ron Killings you're talking about where he hasnt been used in god knows how long and is together with freakin Konnan now.

Eh--it's so hard to tell because WWE have to be such lying pricks about the wrestler stats and bulk them up. Hogan has been billed as being everywhere from 6'8 to "near 7 feet" (Mr. America bio). Yet at Backlash last year he's SLIGHTLY taller than the supposedly 6'4" Triple Haitch. That's so true.....how about at WrestleMania X8 when the Rock is billed as 6'5" and in the staredown they're the same EXACT height.
-
Remember something peeps...............he told the press he would be at Judgment Day......but that doesnt necessarily mean he's going to be on camera, he may just be backstage meeting everybody.
-
Would anybody else besides me pay to see Goldberg take out Jamal and Rosey and then while he's going into his seizure get hit by a spinkick to the Jaw by Rico and get pinned?
-
I hope nobody believes Jericho is 5'11"....h'es 5'9 without his lifts on tops.....that being said he has good dungeon shoot experience, and will take out Nash
-
How great would it be if Ultimo Dragon brought in his own play by play announcer for his matches...... "BRAAAAAAAAAIN BUSTAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" "LARIAAAAAAAAATOOOOOOOOOOOOO" "POWABOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!"
-
*Ultimo Dragon walks to ringside and joins Cle and Tazz at announce table* Cole: " Wow, Tazz look at this. It's The Ultimate Dragon, the world renowned shootfighter from Pride" Tazz: "Hey....um...Cole. Its Ultimo Dragon, meaning last, he's not a shootfighter and he's from Toryumon not Pride. Get it right idiot" Cole: "Absolutely, hey, ultimate can I ask what you're purpose is here. Are you a part of WWE now?" Dragon: "i heeyah tul chalee any vitah een dayudayueeee!" Cole: "I'm sorry i didnt get that all......uum....i noticed that you have a mask on your head" Tazz: "Good call genius....are you gonna ask him if he's asian next" *Segment gets cut off as we go to HHH*

Damnit.........i'm not ordering this shit this month. Hell no.............................................................................. .........................umm, i'm gonna go to my friends house to watch it instead. *Gets tomatoes thrown at him* but, even with that being said......It's still a non-buy for me right? I gotta see Dragon!

I have an 8 year old cousin who has thicker legs than that. Damn Kev, talk about puny.
-
Nash had fucked up knees before he even started wrestling for christs sake. He had to give up basketball for that reason, and to his credit he does look like he did some good weight training in his off time as he looks more defined in his arms and shoulders. With that being said, Jericho would have to watch out for the long reach but could just execute low kicks to the legs and Nash would TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMBEEEEEEEEEEER.
-
I never said i was BUYING it......hehehehe
-
Damn......ok now.....a few days ago this card was looking horrid, but now Ultimo dragon debuting, IC battle royal added, tag team ladder match........i might have to get it now
-
......That was great. I just pictured him in his ketchup and mustard outfit with his orange toned skin color.

Yeah, wow...3 years ago. Guess what, it isn't 2000 anymore, HHH can't perform at that level anymore, and he no longer has strong viable contenders to challenge him for that title. Also, HHH boinking Steph was only a storyline then, and he didn't have the freedom to destroy all the contenders that would be a threat to his spot. Funny how no one can justify HHH's position without going back 3 years. Triple H: 2000 ---- Good worker, great brawler booked to go over Cactus Jack, Rock, Angle, Austin in an attempt to solidify his main event status. Not a bad idea because he could work well. Super push to the moon pays off as he is most dominating heel champion in a long time. 2001 ----- Still a good worker, but has continued to bulk up adding more muscle mass and is starting to be injury prone and slowing down. Uh-oh there goes his quad. 2002 ----- Returns from Quad Injury, complete with several 5 minute desire videos every......single......show, and is booked to win the Royal Rumble in his FIRST match back. IT is quite evident he has put on WAY TOO MUCH muscle mass and is not half as mobile as he was a year earlier. Very slow, and plodding in the ring and boring to watch. So, they book him to win at WrestleMania with fantastic Triple H vs. Stephanie in a Loser Leaves Lucy storyline with Jericho coming off looking like Stephanie's total bitch, and an animal abuser. Follows with world title matches with Undertaker, Hogan which are awful, but somehow gets pumped up for Michaels at SummerSlam. However, kills any hope the next night with god awful match against Taker (which i had the joy of watching live at MSG), and is handed a title. Since Then ---- Has lost a bit of muscle mass and perhaps a bit more mobile, but still terrible in the ring. Buries KAne, RVD, Booker T, Steiner and makes Ric Flair his personal assistant. Transforms into the Jet FLying, Limosine Riding, Kiss steelin, wheelin and dealin persona complete with Lavender colored trunks in and attempt to look like a certain blonde who follows him around.

Here's your answers........ 1)I just talked to my boy...eh.....let's call him Buh Buh, and gave him a few pesos to pop a particular "One" "Gunn" on the shoulder with a lead pipe. Hell, he's done it before, so that eliminates him from the battle royale. 2) You forgot Triple H calls the shots and Vince is the official cock sucker of the McMahon-Helmsley regime, so if H wants Big Kev to get the shot...Then Kev gets the shot, and probably wins. 3) They seem tothink that Brock vs. Show worked well the 1st AND 2nd time. Brock kills Show ad gets revenge for his little buddy Rey. Up until November Big Show couldn't beat ANYTHING. Now he's an unstoppable monster. He must have switched those roles at least 3 times now.

Thanks RRR, i'm definitely gonna check it out........anyway let's see how his debut turns out and we'll take it from there
-
Uuuum...........I love MMA....Pride and UFC........what's this sherdog site you're talking about RRR?
-
thank god for indy and japanese alternatives
-
I'll be watching TNA......at least those guys over there are allowed to wrestle their own styles without so many restrictions.

Why don't they just get a softer ring. Like the one ECW used or ROH uses.....it gives a lot more leeway to the neck head and other body parts. I think getting a softer ring (mat) would solve, not all, but some of the problems
