Wow, the crowd has totally turned on Edge....The worst case of face getting booed I may have ever seen. It's to the point that he may have to play heel for the rest of the match

Michael Cole's been pretty damn lousy tonight. The funny thing about it though is everytime he has messed up tonight, Tazz has called him out on it and made him look dumb.

    The Baseball Strike

I remember the 94 season very weel, and in my own opinion the Montreal Expos were by far the best team in MLB. They had a great lineup, great pitching, a great manager, very good defense, and clutch hitting. What else could you ask for?

Sammy Sosa is getting to be a liability.

Sammy reminds me of a another superstar who is definitely on a major decline/ Mike Piazza These guys are veyr similiar to each other in that they haven't done much all season and have not looked the same either. They both seemes to age really badly this year and the bats are slower.

    Worst contract ever?

I got a couple here: 1)Jose Contreras (Yankees) 2)Allen Houston (NY Knicks) 3)Shawn Bradley (NJ Nets) 4)Mo Vaughn (Anaheim Angels) 5)Mike Hampton (Colorado Rockies) the Top guy on my list though: GRANT HILL (Detroit and Orlando would be better off with a bag of basketballs)

Mets acquire Benson in 3 team deal

Yeah but guys like Pulsipher and Wilson were getting hit so hard when they were brought up that they rarely would pitch into the 6 th inning....lol I see what you're saying though

Mets acquire Benson in 3 team deal

Dallas Green. This team was quite possibly the reason pitch counts gained prominance over the last few years. They were completely destroyed by overuse. I don't agree. If that's your point then you're saying any pitcher with an arm injury is a product of being overused.

Mets acquire Benson in 3 team deal

The thing is this........lately the Mets have been kind of down on Kazmir and the word is that he really might never have the endurance, stamina, or mentality to be a big league starter. They were seeing him as a bullpen guy lately. They've been sour on Huber too, who was looked at recently as a back up catcher. If you can get a good big league pitcher who just needs to work out some kinks, then do it. At least he's pitched in the big leagues. Pitchers in the minors are very scetchy. We had an untradeable guy, Aaron Heilman. The guy now can't even get hitters out in AAA and has an era of over 5. He was our #1 prospect. Want another example? The big 3 in 94 and 95 that were supposed to turn the orginization around: Isringhausen, Pulsipher, Wilson Jason Isringhausen - Turned into an ok closer, but was supposed to be a great starter. Bill Pulsipher - Yeah, try to find him now Paul Wilson - He's doing ok with the Reds now, and it only took him 10 years. A guy that was scouted as throwing 95mph, gets arm injuries and now throws about 87 Make the damn trade and Benson already said he'd like to sign with the MEts

Mets acquire Benson in 3 team deal

Pennant race? Nope, we're 7 games out and see yaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......Braves are almost out of sight. You trade The #1 Pitching prospect, the #2 or 3 pitching prospect , and also the future star catcher.....................for Benson (who is a free agent after this season), and Victor Zambrano......oh by the way, we got rid of one of our top HR and RBI guys who was doing well at 1st base. Now we got Jason "I make Rey Ordonez's bat look good" PHillips with more playing time. Great job, I was thinking they can trade David Wright for Jamie Moyer also.

3 Guys You'd Pay to see Run out of Town

Mets --- 1) John Franco ---- I can't remember the last time this guy had a scoreless inning. He's 43 years old and has an era of almost 6. Please retire NOW John. 2) Mike Stanton ---- This guy, if possible has been worse than Franco. You look at his ERA and say "thats not too bad". But what the ERA doesn't show is WHENEVER this guy comes into a game with runners on base, it's pretty much a guarantee that all runners WILL score. He's godawful and Art Howe keeps putting him out there. 3) Jason PHillips --- After such a promising season last year, this guy is barely hitting over .200 and every big situations he is you know he WILL NOT come through. (Example - Bases loaded 1 out, PHillips at bat, 9 out of 10 times he will hit into an inning ending double play. The guy is so slow that if he hits ground ball and the fielder bobbles it 23 times, PHillips still can't beat out the throw. Added Bonus: Kaz Matsui ---- Finally hitting a little bit now, but leads the majors by far in errors and can't even field a ball backhanded. This is the freakin guy the mets move their future superstar shortstop out of position for. What a joke

Update On Kurt Angle's In Ring Return

some need to shut the fuck up cuz nobody is better than angle in the ring who is currently wrestling in the us. let that man do whatever he wants because he persuades me to buy ppvs if he is in the main event. I will buy any ppv angle is in the main event even if he is in a fucking wheelchair Yeah man, Angle is the best... Angle hasn't ever been the best in the USA with people like Eddie,Benoit, and Bryan Danielson wrestling. Get the hell out of here with Bryan Danielson......I'll agree with Benoit and Eddie but don't put Danielson in there with those guys.

    This Week in Baseball

It was nice to see the jackasses with the relay race broom silenced after the homerun. And my god, is there anything more brutal than a walk off walk? I agree......That was hilarious. As soon as they showed those fools with the broom relay outside Carlos Lee hits a laser homerun to dead center. It would have beena little better if he would have homered to the street and hit one of those morons on top of the forehead.
