Who........in the name of everything that is holy.........gives......a f lying fuck.....about the entrance of HHH. I mean really guys, when is enough enough already. Wow, HHH has a theme by Motorhead and coordinated his entrance, big fuckin deal man. You guys couldn't think of anything from Raw since he wasn't there so you come of with this crap? HHH comes out to his music just like Flair does when it's a singles match. When they're together it's Evolutions music. Everyday there has to be a stupid ass, bitching thread about HHH no matter how stupid or pathetic it is. What's tomorrow? "HHH is holding everyone down because he's the only one allowed to bring a waterbottle to the ring? or "HHH has too much damn power cause he spits right on the fans in his entrance and nothing happens to him" In other words, shut the hell up already with the petty shit.

You guys see Basham, Jindrak, Cena, O'haire and you don't like what you currently see, which is fine. It takes time to develop and make everything gel together. O'haire had to learn a completely new style, and some of you act like Cena is garbage in the ring. H'es not that great, but i would see he's at least average where he can hold his own. Do you think Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit were great as soon as they started wrestling? It takes EVERYONE time. Kurt Angle was sloppy as fuck when he debuted but you saw that there was something there and he would be special. I never saw Benoit's first matches but he had time to season himself in Japan for a pretty long time. Not liking these guys is one thing, but at least give them time to improve.

That might be the biggest bullshit i've heard in a long time. Thats' like saying that all these guys have the same ability, agility, charisma.............its stupid. Spike Dudley sucks.....he cant talk, has no charisma. To make that analogy is just dumb. Some guys have the tools and some dont. We may disagree on who we think has those tools, but dont sit there and say they all have the same potential and they just have to have the drive to let it out. That's like saying the Memphis Grizzlies have as much potential of winning the NBA Title then the San Antonio Spurs.
-
Has Matt Hardy gone the farthest he can go yet? no........he's gonna be BIG in the future, and not as a tag team wrestler.....in my book its POTENTIAL RRR, You might wanna watch a match with Doug Basham in OVW and you'll understand why i say this guy has tremendous potential. John Cena can work a stick and has great charisma, he's still VERY young and has time to improve Charlie Haas is just as good as Shelton Benjamin who you LOVE Sean O Haire has already proven that if given more freedom, he can be very exciting to watch and has charisma.
-
Uuuumm......i never though Cena's FU was a DVD. I don't think it's intended to be. It's just a fireman's carry into an overhead slam
-
Damn, i wish i could say that Rodney Mack has potential...but, i....just cant. Extremely generic moveset
-
Here's who i think has true potential and will be big players in the future: Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy, John Cena, Doug Basham, Sean O' Haire
-
That's how I see it. SOH has gotten degeneratively worse since his debut in 99 or 00 or whenever that was. I feel bad for SOH cause it's not is fault that he's been givent he hoss moveset. The guy has tremendous agility for his size, and had a very cool moveset in WCW, and the crowd was into himlike crazy towards the end so he had great charisma. WWE decided to take all his moves away. No more high flying shit for him. Maybe one day he can adjust and still be watchable
-
I agree that Test is pretty much a lost cause who doesnt get any better over time.... I WOULD like to say that guys like Sean O Haire, Randy Orton who are still young and green DO have potential. They have a certain talent that can draw a fan in whether it be charisma, in ring talent, talking and their "potential" may one day be shown when they put everything together. Most guys DONT put everything together though. Potential is seeing something that can be captivating, special, or just big one day. BUt, their day has yet to arrive.

Eh, I know it's a big time accomplishment to be in a wrestling ring with one leg and im not trying to take away the guys accomplishments and determination........but, i wasn't really impressed with him doing about 10 dropkicks and a moonsault. Seriously, before the moonsault all I saw was dropkicks from him. I'm not too impressed yet, but maybe it was because he was wrestling The Big show. what did you guys think of him?
-
Yeah, Robert Patrick was perfect, but this girl did a damn good job of being a cold caculated terminator too. I say IF there is a T4, which i have to imagine there will be, have it take place in the future in 2029 and show the war between the humans and machines. The perfect plot would be for Arnold to be bad again and try to hunt down John Connor
-
But, he lost to 3 guys really. Angleslam, f-5, moonsault
-
I agree....but what does that have anything to do with this thread?
-
What i wanna know is CAN the guy do basic moves like a bodyslam, vertical suplex, generic stuff like that?
-
By the way, what DID happen to the winner of TE3. I think MAtt and Eric were their names......they're nowhere to be see, not even in OVW. Those guys actually had some damn potential too. I liked TE1 and we got 2 guys with some potential, and a good valet in Nidia. TE2 sucked horse balls, even though they may end up making ok valets.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't remember ANYONE complaining when Austin and Angle were feuding during the Invasion and they would continuously run comedy skits with them. You were all saying that it was great and gold and this and that. Please explain to me what the difference here is? You're not gonna see Brock vs. Angle at Vengeance. They're saving that for a bigger PPV like SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. That's the biggest match possible for Smackdown and it's not gonna be wasted on a PPV that replaced In Your House. Just wait damnit, they're doing this to show a repoir and friendship between the two, and i dont mind it at all if Brock turns heel on Angle and then the blowoff is the main event of the decade!!!! It's coming AS, just be patient. I understand where you're coming from dude, but he's only been back for a month and they have to build more to set up the heel turn.

Terminator Commando Predator Total Recall T2 Eraser End of Days T3 On top of that, just end this tourney now and give the winner to Terminator...and im not just saying it cause its my favorite movie of all time
-
I just came back from seeing it and i thought it was quite good........Not as good as Terminator (which i think is the best) or T2, but they explain the plot holes from T2, and it's pretty compelling. The ending to me was fantastic and made the most sense of all possible endings they could have done. I wonder if they're planning a T4.........this time it should take place solely in the future
-
Yup, the editing sucks balls.......Even in games like WrestleMania X8 for Gamecube Booker T, NWO, and a few others have completely different music. I have King of the Ring 2002 (don't ask why), and Flair's music is the 92 WWF one. It's not a generic theme though as i've heard it in movies and stuff before. Undertaker's theme is edited on a few DVD's too, and on Rebellion Edge's theme is "You think you know me", and it's funny because his entrance and demeanor doesn't fit the song at all.

How someone can say that they "loathe" Goldberg, but can actually forgive a "B" movie star who sucks on the big screen win the World Championship makes no sense to me. Also, i agree with Goldberg's style isnt for everyone. He's not very good int he ring, but to bring up Bret Hart's injury is fuckin silly and played out already. It was a mistake, get over it people. How come i never saw any hate for Owen Hart when he destroyed Steve Austin's neck in '97'.......ooooooooooh, thats forgivable because Owen was a smark darling and Goldberg is hated here. The double standards here are unfair.

I'm a MEt's fan and yes they suck this year. The thing i like is thta it looks like they're trying to get younger by bringing up their young guys from the minors and they have FINALLY traded away Robbie Alomar. Alomar, who was a hall of famer his whole career came to NY and friggin stunk it up with his Lazy and nonchalant play. Good riddance to Alomar as he was also known as a clubhouse nuisanse with a bad attitude. A good day for MEts fans indeed
-
I don't know what you're arguing here because i just said i'd RATHER see the young guys and that it's good that they're being brought up and put on tv. Do you expect them to be main eventing ppv's right away? Did you like seeing the Natural Born Thrillers shoved down our throats in WCW? It takes time, it's not gonna happen right away......of those guys you mentioned...Hogan's gone, Nash pretty much dissapeared, Piper's gone, Zach Gowan is one of the new guys, Goldberg can go fuck himself, I don't mind HBK cause he can still work, and Asutin vs. Bischoff is dumb, but at least they're not wrestling
-
Of course you're gonna have exceptions like Sable, Goldberg, and Steiner
-
Goldberg never really drew anything. He was VERY over in WCW, but as far as money goes he wasn't a big draw. Sting's 97 StarrCade match drew much higher than Goldberg's 98 Starrcade match, almost double. On a side note....i never realized how bad WCW buyrates were towards the end Mayhem 2000 - .12 New Blood Rising --- .18 Greed -- .17 Sin --- .10 OUCH.......ECW's PPV were drawing double than WCW. Damn, didn't know it was THAT bad
