Going into Long Island Sound. I hope Edge doesn't get a nasty infection. Although after Lita, I imagine his immune system can conquer anything short of the plague.
-
He has to count the ring posts to figure out what fed he is in. "8 sides? Dude, how did I end up in the UFC?" Holy shit they ARE ripping off 1997! Someone's going into the water! "Tree hugging son of a bitch!" was pretty funny though.

Cena chases Edge out of the building and Hardy's sitting in an empty ring wondering if he had another blackout or something.
-
OK that was a strange way to end it. Who messed up?
-
I don't think Jeff has blown a spot yet. Is this a personal record for him?
-
So wait....now Mick is playing face against Vince after ostensibly being a heel against Ric Flair even though it looked like he was REALLY trying to be a face? I'm confused.
-
It better be. They should get as much out of Jeff as they can before he implodes again.

I've seen the trailer for it. Wow. If anything screams "direct to video" it's this movie. -
Texans are 2-0 after beating the Rams 27-20. Carr still looks average and people on some Texans boards want to see Sage Rosenfels get some more PT (I'm not one of them though). Running game still looks strong with Lundy getting some good yards and Vernand Morency looking REAL good in the 1-cut offense. Also did a very good job on the blitz pickup. Defense looked pretty good. Too many passing yards (298) but shut down the running game (60 something yards). Mario Williams and Antwawn Peek may make for a monster combo on obvious passing downs, as they consistently caved down the left side of the Rams offensive line when they were on the same side. Mario was also much more active tonight than he was against the Cheifs. Linebackers played well, although no one really seemed to stand out. Secondary played OK (a lot of the passing yards were against the 2nd and 3rd stringers). Dunta Robinson played his usual solid game, and Phillip Buchanon actually looked like a football player, albeit with 2 pass interference calls going against him (1 legit, 1 the WR fell down). All in all, a good game with a goal line stand in the last two minutes to seal the deal. Tough game against the Broncos in Denver next Sunday though. It looks like they smashed the hell out of the Flaming Thumbtacks tonight.

I thought it was a botch too until I saw that the other guy (Whitmer someone said his name is?) didn't appear to lose his balance and took what looked to be a fairly measured step off the turnbuckle. Plus, you'd think that if the guy doing the move had lost his balance he wouldn't have kept the recipient in that precarious a position. There had to have been a safer but still visually impressive move that could have been done instead of that though. Jacobs could've broken his neck either by hitting it off the edge of the ring apron or if Whitmer had dropped him on the concrete. Those inch thick tumbling mats the have outside the ring (if they even had those at the event) wouldn't have done shit for him in that case.

You oughta see it when the damsel in distress appears to him in a vision to try to get him to rescue her, a prospect that he is less than enthusiastic about when he hears about how much work it involves. One of the most hilarious scenes I've seen in a video game. Plus, it's funny that the fairy summon he has sounds like a Scottish consturction worker with a 2 pack a day habit. Also good is the game Armed and Dangerous. Might be funnier than A Bard's Tale if your humor runs more towards slapstick than sarcasm. -
Nice throw by Lashley there.

Cary Elwes, A Bard's Tale. Best voice work I've heard. Both for him and the script work. -
WTF is Jarrett doing?

Damn I can't believe how quickly Diego got past Karo's guard. Made it look like nothing. -

I love watching a good Muy Thai fight. If I had any cartilege left in my knees I would've taken classes in it and judo just because they match my style (wrestling, grapples, straight ahead striking, more lower body power). -

Hey Von Flue, probably not the best time to flip off a guy. -

The only Texans highlights in the Madden promo are someone whiffing a tackle and Phillip Buchanon getting his ass run over. They could've at least had a shot of Mario or something. -
