Guess I'll give it a shot. Doing the "personality quiz" and got "Jimmy the Re-Re" as my avatar. Edit: Level 2 hacker. Conspiracy Victim. I like to keep things simple.

Re-installed 1, which I haven't played in forever. Promptly broke the game, by making my perception 9, agility 7, and maxing out Small Guns over the first couple of levels. Got my hands on a rifle, and now most everything takes crits to the eyes at about 75-95%. That will tide me over until I get my Turbo Plasma Rifle and the Sniper perk at 20.. Yeah that would pretty much do it as far as waltzing through the game. I actually liked to go big guns and laser weapons. Disintigrating opponents or blowing them to pieces with the Brotherhood's gatling gun is fun.

What the FUCK did I just spend 3 minutes watching? I don't know if I should be aroused, horrified, disturbed, or all of the above by that video.

Beat the main storyline since I was in a hurry to beat it before Fable 2 came out. Fun game, nothing too different from the first game. A couple of the mission briefings are great (burning the pot farm, getting kidnapped by the Sons and getting the mother of all contact highs). All in all, I'll probably go back and play it again or at least do a lot of the side missions once the run of AAA releases ends.

You're 4 up on me. Not an inspiring lineup.

Well, even though I'm pretty much broke I still hit up TRU and got Mercenaries 2, Saint's Row 2, and Infinite Undiscovery. I would have gotten Dead Space instead of IU, but they didn't have it. BTW, it might just be the store I went to, but the registers may not automatically discount the cheapest. IU was on sale for $39.99 but the girl pulled it out of the cabinet 2nd and Mercenaries 2 got rung up last. The games ran me just over $100 but I didn't say anything. I checked my receipt outside and the register discounted the last game rung up instead of the cheapest one. So, I saved about $20. If you don't have 3 brand new ones you want to get, it might not hurt to give it a shot and get an older discounted one you haven't played yet. It might work.

Downloaded and played FO 1 and 2 to get in the proper mindset for 3. Going to have to shoehorn this in somewhere.

You don't really lose respect, you just have to earn more respect to keep doing the missions. And yeah, you still have to do the activities. I think they made it less necessary though. Now you get respect from simple things like avoiding crashes and driving on the wrong side of the road without wrecking. Plus they give you more repect for killing rival gang members during missions, which is handy for the "push-back" missions. Really though all I did was play through the first series of Septic Avenger missions, use the money to hit up Impressions and the jewelry store and bought the top of the line suit (w/fedora, of course) and all the gold (no platinum this time around) jewelry I could afford. The boost it gives to your repect rating helps you stay ahead of the curve for a while. I've done very few of the activities (a couple of races, 3 or 4 levels of one of the Mayhems, and I'm at level 6 of one Insurance Fraud mission) and I think I've still got enough respect to do 9 missions/strongholds in a row if I wanted. And I like doing Insurance Fraud. Especially with the new Adrenaline meter that, when maxed out, has you bouncing around like a Superball. Kinda makes things easier but since they took out witnesses and the multipliers for using civic vehicles I guess it evens out.

Septic Avenger is an awesome activity. Yeah I bought it. I'm weak.

Yeah I loved SR1 but with Fallout 3 and Fable 2, my gaming budget is already stretched past the breaking point. I'm goint to have to bum this one of a friend and play it later. It just won't be the same without Tia Carrere. but hopefully the game will have more Johnny Gat since he's the only lieutenant that's still on your side from the 1st one, and he was probably my favorite character in 1 anyway.

The stormtrooper running off shreiking and the cop saying they found the mutilated corpses of Yoda and Short Round in the closet had me cracking up.

I dunno after last week (I think) when Striker mentioned that someone was "in a quagmire" then followed with a "Giggity giggity" I'm willing to give him the nod. Informative AND entertaining!

Well, I got it for my birthday, sat down, and finished it the next day. Maybe I'm a sick fuck, but I like Rorschach. He truly doesn't give a fuck about anything except stopping crime, no matter what it takes. If anything, he's the only true "vigilante" among them because he has no limits. Maybe The Comedian, but I think he just got off on violence/killing. All in all, I enjoyed the darker feel of the comic (subject matter, overall tone, the Black Freighter excerpts) and I'm looking forward to the movie.

Matt Schaub has some sort of virus and won't start, Rosenfels will. I guess all those who were whining about the QB play pre-Jacksonville get to see if they're justified or not.

Nice to see Kimbo's still ready to party after getting KTFO.

I'm reminded of the Jon Favreau episodes of Friends. "Fight's on." "Fight's over."

"Brawling" is a style? Just call him "Freestyle", it's worked for Tank Abbott.

Wow, Shields took a long time to get there but once he did it was over quick.

Consensus top 10 WW and EliteXC WW champion? I know it's not what they intended, but it sounded to me that EXC was going, "See? We managed to get ONE of them! UFC doesn't have EVERYONE!"
