DOA4 is missing launch? Wow, didn't know that. I guess we'll have to wait for a while to see a SPARTAN on next-gen consoles. I believe COD2 is a different game. The GameSpot preview said that it's for PC and 360. Actually, now that i've looked, yes it's 2 different games. The current generation consoles get COD2: Big Red One, which is just the American 1st Infantry Division. COD2 for 360 does the multiple storylines from COD with American, English, and Russians. Hopefully it has better AI and hit detection than the original COD. I couldn't even finished it was pissing me off so much in places.

Out of those nominated for GOTY, it's either RE4 or GOW. Haven't had a chance to play FEAR but since my comp is old by computer terms (2 years old, yeesh) I doubt I'll get to play it at all. Completely appropos of nothing in this thread, had a chance to try out the 360 demo at Best Buy today. Call of Duty 2 looked pretty good. Still trying to figure out what to get for launch. Since Elder Scrolls got pushed back and Gun now appears to be more of a rental, I'm thinking about NFS: Most Wanted and Ghost Recon 3. Criminal Origins and Kameo still look good though. Decisions, decisions...

Good Lord the Division 2 final is pissing me off. I've beaten the crap out of the Reapers twice during the season yet all of the sudden they're in overdrive. They're pass rush is blowing away my OL, and their KR Dye is returning everything to at least midfield. After restarting a couple of times I finally managed to get a clutch 2 pt conversion to go up 43-42 with 22 seconds left. I get them to 4th and 30 with 8 seconds left. They get a 31 YARD GAIN, call time out, and then kick the game winning field goal. I had to turn it off after that.

Rockets looking a bit rough so far tonight but still up by 7 going into the 4th. Bench is really bailing out the starters.

I'm pissed. It and Gun were my two must buys at launch since Saint's Row isn't going to make launch. I guess as long as the product they put out is as clean and bug free as they can get it, I can live with it. Now I've just got to find another launch title. Guessing either PDZ or Kameo.

REALLY? Wow. Didn't know that. I just went through the training camp and went straight to campaign mode. Only done a couple of Quick Plays, and used my created team. The problem I have is the inconsistency. The team ratings seemingly mean nothing. I had more trouble with the Redhawks (or whoever the Washington team is) then I did with the Charlotte team in my first game in Division 2, who according to the ratings is a helluva lot better. I stomped the piss out of them and their pretty boy QB. Not really anything worth returning the game over, just the inconsistency is odd. I do like how you get to add a pretty damn good player to your squad after you move up to Division 2. He helped solidify my defense.

But I thought he fired you? Or are you back on a pay per performance basis?

Sacto/Houston doesn't get national. That means I'm stuck listening to Clyde Drexler try to do color commentary. Ugh. My ears are hurting just thinking about it.

Yeah Diaz knocked Robbie Lawler the fuck out. That first fight was wierd with the little Japanese guy trying to block and counterpunch Diaz. Had his guard down around his chest and his face totally exposed. I'm watching this on DVR and eagerly awaiting Sanchez's match. I don't think it's going to last long.

What I'm curious about is how they would portray the "girl". Would they go the "opposites attract" route and have some hot babe (for argument's sake, let's say a Torrie Wilson or someone of that nature) or would they go with someone who can relate to Raven's character and is good looking in a nontraditional way, like a Daffney? The problem with either approach is A) The hot chick could lead to "What the hell? She could have anyone and she wants HIM??" while B) A Goth-esque woman might not play well with some people in the crowd, leading to a "who cares?" reaction. Your choice would almost lead to someone like Miss Elizabeth or even Beulah.

Whatever happened to Red? I saw some of his ROH(?) stuff and it was entertaining in a spotmonkey sort of way. I heard his back got messed up or something, then he tried coming back too soon and screwed it up more. Any updates? Edit: I like "The Messiah of the Backbreaker" as well.

Styles, Dutt, and Aries vs Daniels, Joe, and Shelley? Sweet. I do hope Dutt takes the fall though. For some reason I can't pinpoint I REALLY don't like him.

Well, my thoughts as a TNA newcomer (only seen it since Impact hit Spike): 1) Good LORD Hoyt sucks. Not in a "big guy who can do power moves" sort of sucks, either. He just sucks. 2) Christopher Daniels is fun to watch wrestle. Despite being built like a cruiser (WWE thinking copyrighted) he grounds and pounds well. Plus, his moves look crisp. 3) Jerrelle Clark is an entertaining spot machine. Would've liked to have seen even an attempt at the 630. 4) Good to see Raven recycle a Beulah type storyline. As long as the girl is as hot as Beulah, I'd be happy. 5) Sonjay irritates me. Doesn't have a good look and his moves suck (I want to turn my TV off when he does that stupid Sprinkler). 6) AJ plays intense face well. I also like Strong and Shelley. Shelley has good mannerisms, and Strong's powerbomb backbreaker on Dutt looked sick. 7) I didn't like James when he was the Assman, and I don't like him now. 8) The Duds gave the same "Intense" promo they've given since ECW, sans cursing. I did notice that Devon almost slipped up and called himself and Bubba "The Dudley Boys". Still though, it was a fun episode. The tag match saved it for me.

Haven't we established that Cena is Sting without the facepaint? I remember the Photoshop. Ah, at last I can turn it to The Ultimate Fighter.

At this point, I'm half expecting Brock to coming running out and destroy everyone with the IWGP title.
