Hmm... HHH thinks Flair is washed up and should quit, Flair is just living in HHH's reflected glory, HHH, HHH, HHH.... That should just about cover it.

Pretty good Harry Carey impression on Unlimited. Doesn't quite sound drunk enough though.
-
Well, it was fun while it lasted. Nice little match.
-
They could so easily give this match 12/15 minutes and have the crowd loving it. I guess we need more of Vince pulling things out of a fake JR ass instead.
-
Look on the main page, over on the right. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shit. OK thanks I expected a bit bigger of a link. Wow. Can I shuffle Lillian's deck (if ya know what I mean)??
-
Couls someone summarize the Unlimited videos as they happen? I can't figure out where they are, all I get are last week's.
-
Sorry DH, they've got 2 more hours to screw it up.

CHRISTIAN IN THE HOUSE!! So who kicks his ass tonight on his way out the door?
-
For some reason I'm just not optomistic about tonight. We'll see if it's justified.

Well, the Toys R Us in my area was pretty bare by the time I got there this evening, but I managed to pick up Blitz, The Warriors, and the PS2 version of Resident Evil 4. Messed around with each of them. Warriors seems pretty good, but the camera has a tendency to "whoosh" around the character you're controlling, making it a bit tough to look around some times. Atmosphere is great, voice acting is real good, and the superfluous cursing always gets approval from me. Blitz is what it is: a visceral take no prisoners football game. The brawls piss me off, since the computer kicks your ass unless you're REAL lucky. And Ron Mexico REALLY wants me to put my fist through the screen. Bitch just rolls out and keeps hitting 10-12 yard passes all day long. Only played RE4 for a few minutes. Mainly got it to see what they threw in for the PS2 release. The aiming seems to be a bit stiffer and less forgiving than in the GC release. And, that'll be it until the 360 comes out.
-
Damn..OK then I'll have to find time to go then.
-
You can mix and match pricepoints? Sweet. Maybe Battalion Wars or X-Men 2...
-
Dammit, Blitz and Warriors are at 2 different price points. Gotta figure out some way to make it work...

Ah yes, the Angry Amish Chicken Plucker. No way in hell he sees the big time in his gimmick. It's too "out there" for the WWE, which seems to want most of it's newcomers to be either generic or be stuck with some idiotic gimmick. He'll be down in OVW long enough to shave the goatee, get some tats, lose some weight, and get "thou shalt not come off the top rope because you are a heavyweight" drummed into his head.

Yeah, Helms and the cruisers were about all that kept me watching WCW in the end days. Cruiserweight tag belts had some of the best matches I'd seen in quite a while. Helms, Elix Skipper, etc. etc. Plus, we still got the Vertebreaker (and the Sugar Smack, of course).

Warning folks. Zeke Astacio has Jillian Hall-itis.

Oh c'mon! You didn't like Eternal Darkness? Wind Waker? Either of the Metroids? Man, tough crowd.

GO GO GADGET DVR!!

I would love to see a Luke/Jason final, but I don't think it's going to happen. The sight of those two freaks beating the shit out of each other until one or both collapse from exhaustion would be positively Shakespearean. And yeah, that knee was beautiful.

Since it hasn't been mentioned I'll just say that yeah, I thought Robin would turn out to be Ted's wife (I missed the premiere so I didn't know that she wasn't). However, Saget called her "Aunt Robin" in tonight's intro so yeah. Once again, another funny episode. Njot as funny as last week's maybe, but still funny. Barney is still the comedic centerpiece to me (the "Angel and Devil" conversation I found particularly humorous).

Bullshit. They showed the side view of the play and the ball never hit Ausmus's glove. It clearly changed direction because it hit the underside of Dye's bat. All the announcers even admitted as such. Dye didn't even head towards first until the ump pointed him down the line. The movement of the ball came from it hitting the bat during the gap between frames in the camera shots. The ball missed Dye's arm by 3 or 4 inches and hit Dye's bat. The umpire, seeing the ball headed in the direction of his face, closed his eyes as a reaction (you can see it after Ausmus's glove moves at the very end of the extreme close up). All the umpire had to go on was the sound of the ball hitting something and his own last impression of the ball riding up and in on the batter. So, he calls it a HBP when it should have been a foul ball. Am I pissed? Hell yeah. But, these plays happen in baseball (see Everett's phantom tag). Umpires' perception of that happened isn't always accurate.

On a selfish personal note, thanks for fuckin' nothing Patriots! If you weren't going to play Dillon, label him "out" on the injured list so I can bench his ass and put someone else in! Sorry, but losing by 1 point when my backup gets 10 and is sitting on the bench because everyone is saying that Dillon will still play all the way up to kickoff has gotten me pissed off.

How can someone be a fan of both the Cubs and the Sox? I thought you were forced to choose one or the other while still in utero.

So the SUNS were the best shot at shutting down the Spurs in your opinion?? Interesting.... Tell me, how would the Suns stop the Spurs when they seem to be no better (and possibly even slightly worse) then last year? And I'm talking about before Amare's surgery too.

Down go the 'Noles! Down go the 'Noles! 26-21 Cavaliers.
