Yeah, but it's still funny to see an actual ERA in triple digits.

1 out, but close enough. Andy's sacrifice.

So if someone says something positive about the Braves or a particular Brave, they "deserve all they praise they get" but if someone's for the Astros they're, let's see some of the adjectives used by Brave fans in this thread, "annoying" and "obnoxious". Ok. Go myopia.
-
I've never been to Houston, but I can only imagine that they have some of the most annoying fans in baseball. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right behind the annoying whining Tomahawk chopping Chipper blowing Brave fans.

Desperate Housewives Season 2 thread

Yeah if memory serves she was a recruit with the rest of the 90210 crew. She wanted to serve a term so she could become a citizen and have kids or some shit like that. She got offed in her first fight. This is of course if memory serves me right. Haven't seen it in a while. -
Well, I obviously guessed wrong on Christian's relationship problem. We'll see if he can keep it going. Somehow I doubt it. As for the Carver, I guess Dr. Costa's too obvious, but he's still my frontrunner. Sexual ambiguity, the obvious surgeon's touch (seeing as how The Carver knows just how to mess people up enough to cause facial surgery) and he's new to the area, same as the Carver. That being said it probably won't be him. I sense a "Who is the Higher Power?" ending to this where it's going to come out of left field, won't make a damn bit of sense, and will end up being a disappointment.

I liked Von Flue ever since he first came in, Hughes worked his ass off, then Hughes said that he questioned Jason's work ethic. It just seemed like Matt had it out for him unfairly ever since the start.

Just curious, Who would the Astros have to give up to get Dunn? Because like Victim said, they wouldn't have to do much to get Dunn off Cincinnati's hand (they are already covered in the OF/1st) and Dunn will require a big contract that Cincinnati really doesn't need to give him. Does Houston have good pitching prospects to give up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rumor has it they wanted 2 major league ready pitchers (like Wandy Rodriguez and Ezequiel Astacio) and at least one position player (like a Chris Burke). That was their baseline. However, as Adam's free agency looms closer and closer, they might be willing to bend a little bit. Houston doesn't have a very strong upper level minor league system, but they have quite a few lower level prospects that look promising, such as a Hunter Pence, Charlton Jimerson, Jason Hirsch, and Ben Zobrist. Pitching does seem to be the one area their fairly deep in, as the Astros go pitching heavy in most of the last 4 or 5 drafts.

OK yeah if I'm Sean I'm a BIT uncomfortable having Costa stare at me while we're getting head from the very hot coeds. Maybe not "get up and leave" uncomfortable but at least "dude, a little privacy?" uncomfortable. Christian's going to lose control of his fun little relationship. Needs to keep his pimp hand strong, but Kit's going to get the porn star to look for a better situation. Just a guess 1/2 way through the episode.

Well, before last night I didn't really have a favorite. However, I now want Jason to take it all then laugh in Matt Hughes' face. Sure he might get twisted into a pretzel for it but Hughes was nothing but a dick to Jason his entire time there then he kicks him to the curb after he beats the other team's best in class. Total dick move. Yes I know I'm probably being too sensitive about the whole thing but ingratitude irks me.

Ehh, if the Astros want to keep Berkman in the OF (why??) and want to get a powerhitting 1st basemen, they'll go after Adam Dunn. He's younger, rumor has it he wants to come home (he's from New Caney TX) and the Reds probably won't ask for as much for him as the Phillies would for Thome. The only downside for Dunn is that he's up for a new deal after '06 and probably won't be cheap.

I wonder if we get another one of those things where each member of the team gets "a favor" from the GM if the team wins. That's the only way I can see the teams getting along AND the only reason HBK, Big Show, and Shelton fight for Bischoff and JBL, MR.....KENNEDY, and Christian fighting for Peanuthead.

Rockets trade Mike James to Toronto for Rafer Alston. This says a few things to me. 1) Mike's looking for his shot instead of passing the ball was noticed. 2) His promise to take the most money when he hits the FA market led the Rockets to try to get something for him. 3) The Van Gundys talked about Alston's reported attitude problem (Jeff told the team at media day yesterday he "wouldn't coach any knuckleheads" anymore). 4) Bob Sura's knee isn't healing as well as the Rockets are insisting. Still, all in all, I like it. James was better suited coming off the bench for the Rockets while Alston can step in and start at least until Sura is healthy.

Well, I hope T-Bag gets offed during the escape by a guard and used by the others to cover their escape. As a correctional officer, I'm always jumpy about riots. That's why I'm closer to Bellick than Pope when it comes to dissecting prison set TV shows. Don't even get me started on Oz. I woulda given most of those guys a "tune-up" for looking at me funny.

How long does Matt Hardy have left in the WWE?

OK, what is the gist of this "Angelic Diablo" character? I'm almost afraid to ask, but morbid curiosity got the best of me. -
I can't pick which WS outcome I dread most!
Conspiracy_Victim replied to The Czech Republic's topic in Sports
I don't believe I even mentioned the Cardinals. Being an Astros fan I'm naturally inclined to hope they make it to the WS over St. Louis. However, in order to make my argument clearer to you, I'll say this: "Anyone except the Braves or Yankees. I hate the teams, their fans are almost all obnoxious whiners, and the media goes down on them more than a $5 hooker!" There, happy? -
Hmm.. Might need to add more time to my DVR recording..only set it for 10 more minutes.

BTW to whoever asked: yes those first person shots make up a section of Doom. That's supposed to be it's selling point. I'll take a definite wait and see approach.

The mother of all bait and switches there. Well, "Card is subject to change" I guess. Does this lead into a huge RAW vs. Smackdown brawl? This isn't a supershow is it? No reason for Smackdown guys like MR..........KENNEDY to be there otherwise.
-
Angle mentioning MR........KENNEDY!!!!

Almost! Almost had a "not safe for network TV" moment.

Damn the crowd marked for The Claw. Oh good Lord Snuka may break himself in half if he does this.
