    ROH Dayton Results

I'd say the tag and ROH title matches were both between 12-15 minutes with the tag title match going a little longer. MOTN is a tough call, the scramble match was obviously very entertaining, and really I thought 7 of the 9 matches were good. I might say the tag main event because it was an old school tag match or the four way match with Michael Shane, but the first ten minutes were almost brutally long, and I would say that part kind of diminished the ending a bit. I got another question, does Chris Sabin wrestle a more mat-based wrestling style in ROH now that he's been in TNA for awhile?

    ROH Dayton Results

I'd say about 500-700 people sounds right. I've seen lots of TNA & HWA so I'd probably say I've seen about half of the roster wrestle before. The opening match was the first ever scramble match I've seen and I'd say I agree with Jim Cornette assertion that it looked like those eight guys threw their necks in a blender and put it on puree. Homicide was the replacement for Red, and the crowd popped when his music hit, but got restless when he was face-in-peril, and really wanted to see AJ. I wasn't really impressed with Samoa Joe in his match against BJ Whitmer, but it was the first time I saw him, so I can't really judge him. A trainer came out to check on Justin Credible after his match with Matt Stryker, to check out his neck after a DVD. He didn't roll over right away when Styrker tried to pin him. The four way singles match with Hot Stuff/Michael Shane/Slyk Brown/Scoot took a lot time to build, but the crowd went nuts towards the end. Hot Stuff Hernandez just tossed everybody around like children. All in all a pretty good show in that 90 degree oven the Fairgrounds, and I just have another ROH question, per show how many times do guys flip over the guard rail? It had to have happened at least 5 times tonight, just wondering because it can't be that healthy, and at least half of the time, there was no warning to the crowd.

    Yeah they're still the champs.
  4. Whatever happened to Michael Dickerson? He's had a ton of injuries the last 2 years. And then everyone noticed he was about half as good as he thought he was. I disagree, before Dickerson's injury (groin, I think) he was on his way to be a Wally Szerbiak type player, a pretty solid No.2 option on a team, and he was shit on coming out of Arizona because he absolutely disappeared during the NCAA tournament. I guess that's why he excelled in Memphis, never had important games.

    Bryant Johnson situation

Hey I guys I just barely caught the tail end of one segment on Rome's radio show and he was talking about Bryant Johnson. It sounds like he was taken of the field via ambulance, and it was implied he was hung over and thus dehydrated. McGinnis's quote was "its taken care of" Anyone heard anything else?
  9. I dobut it because most fans would take a punch or two for a six figure settlement and knowing the guy will get about 10 games. I'm not too worried though, I don't think too many signs will surface, and the NBA certainly has every right to confiscate them.
  10. I diasgree, RVD & Kane got their own thing going so like another poster said it would be a waste to have them in there. I guess an argument for Booker can be made, but he hasn't wrestled anybody besides Christian or Test in the last three months. I still think another factor to this was that you just throw three matches into one to save some time and get other Raw matches on the show.

The Biggest Draft goofs of all time?

It's tough for the GM's too though, you'd get panned less if your 6"4, 225 lbs. QB pans instead of taking the 5"11, 195 lbs. QB that may fail. I'd also like to give a small vote to Trajan Langdon mainly because his senior year in high school Dick Vitale was calling him the second coming of Jesus at the Great Alaskan Shootout, but I guess you have to consider the source.

    Best 2/3 Falls Match

I vote for Flair-Eaton from Clash XV because I am such a clash mark. For mark-out value too, I'd say the Harts-Demolition match was memorable too. Although best probably is Flair-Steamboat
  15. Thanks, and yeah it is going to be weird when its on the east coast again, I'll have to go bed. But if we had to start early that's fine considering my busy work schedule, unless I'm out writing a 68 cent check for some milk.

The Biggest Draft goofs of all time?

Considering the hype, Todd Van Poppel has to warrant a vote for baseball.

The Biggest Draft goofs of all time?

Well Todd Fuller was obviously a bad draft pick but Kobe would have only played for the Lakers, Bulls, or Knicks. Remember he was drafted by the Hornets and forced a trade to the Lakers. Anyways the 15 teams that passed on Jerry Rice in 1985 is a good one. And it makes the 49ers even smarter for trading up for him.

    Quick fantasy question

Hey guys in my fantasy league, we keep two players. I got McNabb, Deuce McAllister, and Terrell Owens. My question is who to keep? McNabb seems obvious, but RB's in our league are hard to come by because Ricky Williams, Priest Holmes, Marshall Faulk, Shaun Alexander, Tiki Barber will be locked up. And I have the #8 pick so Tomlinson and Portis will be gone by then. I am thinking to let McNabb go because in our league TD passes are worth 6 pts. just like rushing and receiving. I just think keeping TO is smart because he is either the #1 or 2 WR in the league, and he's going into his FA year.
  21. I could see HBK or Jericho winning setting up the re-match at Unforgiven if HHH is going to miss some time, and if Vince really wants to bury Goldberg he'll still have Goldberg-HHH at Unforgiven and have HHH go over without any title on the line. The only reason I am upset that Randy Orton is in this match, is that there may be enough room for Test-Steiner II now

    Disgruntled tattoo artist

Man's still taking their money, so it can't be THAT insulting. Although if this is true, I really think its funny some girl would want beautiful goddess tattooed on her. Hard to sympathize with her.

    Quick fantasy question

Yeah I think at #28 the QB's available would be Trent Green, Chad Pennington, Steve McNair, Tom Brady. I guess I just have to figure out if I can get more TD's out of a guy like Brady who threw 28 last year than McNabb will get between his rushes and passes. I guess if our league wasn't backward and had 6 pts for QB touchdowns McNabb would be a lock, but you guys have good points about McNabb, probably will keep him now. Choken I wouldn't mind taking Corey, but I am going with a no Bengals draft this year, just because I always think of the Bengals players higher than want their value is..........although I think Chad Johnson is going to have a HUGE year.

    Who's going to be #1 in 2004?

All right we always like to make sweet predictions and since there is a line on everything in Vegas I figure lets make our pick for who will have the worst record in the NFL this year. I gotta think it will be Arizona, no WR's, Jeff Blake is not the answer, and its a bad omen when there best player (Leonard Davis) breaks his hand in a fight during practice. The only reasons Arizona may not get this "honor" is because McGinnis is a hell of a coach who gets the most out of his players and they play the AFC North this year as their cross over games, which is the weakest AFC division. Your picks?
