  1. You never know, it might just get bumped up to the main card! I think if R-Truth were to win, they'd have put it on TV. Shelton must retain, surely.
  2. I've noticed this with Batista before as well. When he was facing Edge, he'd constantly belittle Edge just by laughing when Edge would threaten him. Something that always stuck in my mind for some reason.
  3. No, they start the day after. It's not fair to have them start before the PPV because you can simply pick guys that are going to main event, and get speciality matches, etc, and score way easy points. I've edited the original post in this thread to say when the months start and end.
  4. Doesn't include you Kami as i've noted your team down, but don't forget to PM me your team as well, or simply the replacements you're making. Sivy messaged me saying 'x, x and x out, y, y and y in'. It's actually easier for me to do it this way rather than typing out an entire team. Just remember, stay under or equal to $50m.
  5. Hurrah for someone finally taking HBK.
  6. Yeah, I agree. If I had a choice between watching WWE events with blurred WWF logos, i'd have his dick cut off too.
  7. I was going to make this announcement towards the end of the week as a reminder, but i'll say it now too.. *I write it this way simply to avoid timezone problems. It's 12 midnight UK time, that's all I can tell you.
  8. & no, the US Championship match won't be scored as it's not on television. Which is a shame, because R-Truth might have scored me good points.
  9. I know, I was actually so damn tired, i'd been out in town for several hours, came home to watch Raw and was going to record it when I got home, heard the main event announcement, and thought 'six matches with two of my roster'? Shame Jericho couldn't win three and not just the one. Still broke up your monopoly of the top spot!
  10. For those wondering, Cryme Time vs Simply Priceless didn't officially start, so there were no match/win points, just appearance points.

  12. Well, if there's more than two people in it and its every man for themselves, its a speciality.
  13. I don't know what it is yet, but if its a multi-man match, then yes.
  14. WCW Mayhem was awesome. "EA's first attempt at a WCW game is no short of a success." GameFAQ were certainly wide of the mark with this review. Edit: More goodness from that review:

How much injury time! Also, Spurs game was even longer!
  16. The top scorers so far, (not including Michaels, who will be right at the top, since nobody picked Michaels and I dont have his total): Mark Henry = 46 points Big Show = 43 points Batista = 32 points Tony Atlas (!) = 25 points Great Khali = 25 points John Morrison = 25 points Ted DiBiase = 24 points Chris Jericho = 23 points You also need to remember, when we're picking a team, we're picking for a PPV as well. Guys like Triple H, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, that you mentioned, are a lot more likely to get PPV points than someone like Evan Bourne or even MVP at this stage, and you win a lot more points if you appear on PPV. It's just the risk you take.
  17. Yeah, but they're, most weeks, gaurenteed to be top scorers. They're also a luxery item, which is why the cost more. What are you 'plainin' about anyway, my good man? You're sitting in fourth! People use different stategies. You, for example, are doing very well with no 'super main eventers' while i'm doing equally as well with both Jericho and Batista in my roster. Some people just like to cram theirs full of midcarders until they've got no money left, while there's someone who's gone for five guys only, all upper mid or above. It's just the way people play, I don't think anyone has any real issue with the main event guys costing a lot more than your standard 'wrestle on one card a week' midcarder.
  18. They're not too expensive, they cost more because they earn more. Shawn Michaels and Big Show have both earned over 30 points in a single night. One of the top scorers is Mark Henry, there's a reason they cost more than Michelle McCool (who has scored a whopping total of two points so far).
  19. I still can't believe nobody took Shawn Michaels.
  20. Gimmick Infringement. Anybody in their right mind could see the OMAM connection, but still, it's GI on our very own Tomko and Fertig classic.
  21. So, a good SmackDown for anybody who had Big Show (which, as the only person who took him, explains why General Spliff was the highest mover today, managed to jump nine places) and even A Happy Medium got off the bottom of the table! Oh yeah, and i'm closing in on the Beast!
