Okay, I can't get this LAN adapter to work. I've connected it up, it seems quite simple.. Cable modem, ethernet cable, LAN adapter, Wii. But it wont pick up any connection, just gives me some 51420 or something error cable (I can't check as I had to re-plug my Eternet cable back into my pc). This is quite sad

Okay, I'll go into town in the morning to see if I can get a LAN adapter as this one us being used for my Internet. I'm assuming they're going to be pretty easy to get ahold of? How does the Wii work with buying old games using Wii Points? And when I was playing Wii sports earlier, why couldn't I get my own character, had to use guest? Do I know an extra memory card?

So using the LAN adapter (which I actually already have, if it will work, I connect to my pc using an ethernet to usb converter as my sternet port is shot) it's basically from the modem to the wii? Quick edit: Sorry to sound rediculously dumb.

We still haven't finalised ours. We've got an Italian tour.

The Wii has a USB port in the back, can't I just connect the USB port to my modem?

Yeah, I can see the benefits of it in some ways. I might whack it in now actually, since i've nothing to do (I work nights, and its my night off). I don't even know what a wireless router is, but i'll look on Amazon for a description.

Hey guys. Before I ask anything, can I please not be told to 'read the thread' for answers, because with all due respect, it's 84 pages long. And it's 4.15am. I only got a Wii yesterday for the first time (I'd been out of work until recently) and I got Sonic, Pirates and Zelda. I've only played Wii Sports so far, I just wanted to know: Is there a normal controller you can use to play Zelda on the Wii? I know you can get retro controllers, but I didnt know if that was just for the downloadable retro games. I just dont fancy the idea of using the wii-mote on Zelda. I'll give it a go in the morning anyway. I don't have wireless, I just have a cable modem. The modem has Ethernet, can't I just connect it up that way? I'm guessing not, what do I need to do/get? Thanks in advance.

Well, the general idea was to get a fast striker to play along side Howard, and I guess Earnshaw fits the bill perfectly. He does have the honour of being the only player to score a hattrick in leagues two, one, the championship, the premiership, the FA and League Cup and international level. So he can obviously put the ball in the net.

I was going to stay 100% out of this thread, but I must say, I must echo everything that was said here. Benoit was somebody that I really, genuinely looked up to. Believed in, respected. If you asked someone who they thought could do that in the wrestling world, I gaurentee you'd get thousands of names back before Benoit's. Something hasn't been revealed, something somewhere happened to Benoit that maybe isn't known yet. Yes, the Eddie thing might have affected him more than we or his real friends realise, but to kill your wife is something, but your seven year old son is something else. I'm disappointed and saddened because I classed Chris Benoit as a role model.

Marvin, I guess it was because with no other main eventers in ECW, Nitro was the closest they could go with. He also has the better look out of him and Burke.
