Nomar isn't going anywhere, FYI. Manny probably isn't either, IMHO. SO stop getting all your hopes up that A-Rod is coming to Boston because, trust me, he isn't. The ONLY reason to trade Nomar is if he doesn't want to stay in Boston and re-sign a long term extention. Contrary to popular media belief(Read: Dan Shaugnessy)(sp?) Nomar actually WANTS to stay in Boston. How do I know that? Because Peter Gammons says Nomar told him this straight out. I dunno about the rest of you but I would not expect Gammons to flat out lie when he says Nomar told him he love playing here and wants to stay. That other Boston Globe writer never quoted Nomar as to saying anything about his like, or dislike, of Boston. Take that for what it's worth. That all being said, why the hell would Boston spend 10 million a year more than that have to to get a SS when the one they have isn't far off from the one everyone wants here. A-Rod is great but he isn't 10 million better than Nomar. Now for the Manny situation, he doesn't want to be here, his contract is sad, and Boston wants to make him happy by letting him go. BUT... It would be very bad buisness to replace He, and Nomar, just because he doesn't want to play here. He will play here and he will still play the same way he has since coming here. He is still playing like an All-Star, even if he says he wants out. I dunno about you but I would much rather have Nomar AND Manny as opposed to just A-Rod and some middle-of-the-road outfielder like Reggie Sanders(since that's the name people love to throw around as a cheap replacement for Manny). I got news for you all, Sanders doesn't put fear into opposing teams and their pitchers like Manny and Nomar together do. A-Rod would still be the feared bat in the lineup, but he would be the ONLY one. Remember, one of the reasons Ortiz had such a great year is becaise of Manny batting in front of him.

He's right though, there was no point for him to vote since as he said repeatedly there was no chance it would get shot down. Fortunately Bush signing this bill will cost him PLENTY of votes in the upcoming election due to the wide population of Seniors that are pissed about this bill.

I'm still whoopin' some ass this week but my leads would have been even bigger if I wasnt so stupid. Of course when I benched Hayes and George they blow up with 22 and 18 points among other things...meanwhile Stephen Jackson didnt play...BASTARD!

wow... Just, wow... I love the baseball bat so far. *Homerun swing*

Definitely cheating. Since when can you just walk into those boss enemies to kill them of the tank and ship levels in the end. Lame.

Actually if ya wanna get Technical with the Patriots WR situation, Branch is really #1, Brown #2, Patten #3(inured), Givens #4, Johnson #5...Stokes and Ward are just fill-ins.

Damn, the Indy/NE game this weekend is HUGE. If NE wins they will have beaten both Indy AND Tennessee probably giving them the bye along with KC. I don't see KC losing any more than 1 other game, so they would probably get home field throughout. Meaning they would be HEAVY favorites to go to the Super Bowl, since they never lose at home.

Round up the Rhode Islanders of the board...Banky's crew needs competition
-
Well, I'm not sleeping tonight. And rightfully so, nut up and help them out. I buy them vodka to numb their plight. See, in Rhode Island, we could give a shit about the homeless. We're too busy living it up on Federal Hill and getting pizza strips from Crugnales. Not to mention a late night snack at Caserta's or Wes' Rib House. PREACH ON MY BROTHA!

As good as this sounds...I'm not 100% positive that this is a good trade. Fossum, Lyon, and Goss are marginal prospects and I don't mind them leaving...but Jorge De La Rosa is "The Man" and would definitely be that home grown starter that Boston hasn't had since Roger Clemens. I don't think he is even close to Clemens but I have seen his stuff a few times and he is the real deal. I would honestly like to keep him around and not be so hasty to spend 15 million a year for a 37 year old injury prone star pitcher who is coming off a bad year.

Spaceman Spiff - Jets (Patriots, Cheifs, Ravens, Titans, Seahawks, Bucs, Vikings, Packers, Dolphins, Steelers) Gert T - (Niners, Bengals, Ravens, Dolphins, Seahawks, Rams, Cowboys, Packers, Cheifs, Saints)

Don't tell that to cartman. He's right. But like I said, Pats have been getting RAPED by officials all year long so it's all gravy.

Ok Adam... You miss, you die.

It's about damn time too. During this streak of wins we have had several bad ref calls trying to screw us.
