The game importance factor plays very heavily on the attendance

HIV Positive Man charged with First Degree murder,

Well yea that's the sickest part. He knows he is going to suffer and die eventually, so he wants other people to suffer they way he has to. Thats just plain disgusting when you think about it. -
Apparently the celtics also threw in a 1st round draft pick for good will or something. Ainge has officially lost his mind. I hope for his sake it's the Cleveland pick that they traded Jiri Welsh for...

You can download the updated rosters though, right? I think that's only for the PC version. Roster updates are in Xbox and PS2 versions as well.
-
I liked the NBA draft actually. With such a large league everyone should get their fair shot in the draft.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ainge is a turd...I have supported him through every move until now. That is terrible. Unless they spin pierce for Allen like was said earlier this is really really dumb. Fatoine is garbage. Back to the days of 8734682356785 3-pointers at about 27% accuracy.

well someone else cannot do saturday night for the same reason i cant do tomorrow night.
-
Yea saturday night is bad, thats Poker night... Friday I cant because I have to work this saturday morning at 6:30am. NEXT friday nigth would be good though.

That's probably because Dropkick Murphy's sucks. You can NOT play less than a 162 game season in either mode, so just sim the games you dont want to play in betweeen. I think that unlockable fenway will be the OLD fenway before the Green Monster was added.

Well I understand why you want to change to weekly rosters, but I think that takes away the manager's influence and replaces it with lots of luck that your lineup wuill stay intact everyday during that week. Not to mention it takes away from the everyday interest aspect as well. I like to switch out players due to certain pitching matchups or playing in certain parks against certain teams etc. Now also, you said there are only going to be 2 bench spots? That's pretty bad as well. No flexibility at all, just my opinion.

Yes it is definitely lower. I believe to make it look more realistic with pitch angles. The pitcher is above the batter so now it looks that way in the game too. Another sweet little feature. I haven't gotten to my first home game(fenway) yet so I haven't noticed the availible game times. if it's only Dusk and Night That's a bit strange...I think they did that because of the center field section. During day games they block those seats with a green tarp most of the time(other times they gave out green shirts so fans could sit there for day games). So maybe to not have to make an alternate version of Fenway with the tarp they eliminated broad daylight games? Just a guess...

Another cool little feature is when you hit foul balls that are obvious foul balls the camera doesnt bother moving at all. I love the fact that you can throw to the pitcher while he runs to 1st instead of waiting for him to get there before you can throw it. Basically they took everything that did suck(what little there was of it) about last year's gam and fixed/improved it. I crushed a couple balls with Ortiz so far so yea the Lefty glitch is gone. I'm just playing on Pro for now to get comfortable. I can't seem to hit HR's with consistency which is good I guess. The hitters eye is a subtle little feature that does help if you see it. The computer actually makes mistakes, go figure! The umpires miss calls too. Nothing like getting called strike 3 when the ball is just outside the K-zone and seeing the batter lose it. I haven't seen or tried argued calls yet but i'm sure it's fun also. The gameplay itself is much smoother than last year too, I can't really find any negatives yet.

As for the quick bullpen thing...it's still there but you have to hold R2 and cycle through a bunch of other managerial menu's with the Left analog stick.
-
Just increase the minimum pitches so people HAVE to start their pitchers enough during the week. i always hated weekly formats and thats not how this league was run last season.
-
Could we reconsider this weekly rosters thing? I mean I tend to lose interest if playing with my team is a weekly event. It's much more fun and involved when I play with my team everyday.

Will the Mets suffer from "NY Rangers Syndrome" in that they still suck ass even after spending almost 200 million in this offseason.
-
Same with Boston. Tampa and Toronto are like home games for Boston too. My father is a classy Yankee fan. We have good discussions about baseball all the time I'm not a Yankee hater by any means...but I DO hate Derek jeter and Arod with a passion...just something about their look irritates me. Great player(jeter) but arrogant looking as fuck.
-
Good to know he seems to be doing OK at the moment. He is a great person and a great player.
-
34 and bad knees though...still should be decent off the bench. hear if his knees can handle it he may get time in RF against LHP'ers to spell Nixon.
-
Ben Sheets Do you have any idea how much you sounded like a Yankee fan right there? I've been a fan of Ben Sheets for 3 years though. If it makes it any better I want Doug Meinketuqhagefd back and Kevin Millar gone. Completely agree. I like Millar and he definitely has the better bat overall, but Minky was THE MAN with the glove and deserved to be this team's starter all year.
-
No way Ben Sheets goes anywhere THIS season. Next season is his last with Milwaukee however. Then he goes to NY of course.

ESPN Basketball is definitely awesome for season mode. For football ESPN is too glitchy.

Providence and especially North Providence are mostly Italian but other that that RI is very diverse.

So what's more dishonorable? Ratting out FORMER teammates or cheating at what you dofor a living and tainting records?

Nice to see Indy has no desire to really upgrade their Defense.
