No. The Red Sox will never give anyone a NT clause as long as Manny, Nixon, Ortiz, etc. are on the team because they, and some others i'm sure, have clauses in their contracts that say if another player gets one...they ALL get one. Although according to the Newsday article there is some "creative language" in the contract to supplement the lack of the official No Trade clause.

Well Wade Miller has been non-tendered. Astros non-tendered RHP Wade Miller. Lance Berkman, Roy Oswalt, Mike Lamb, Brandon Duckworth, Peter Munro and Tim Redding were all tendered. Miller will get more from another team than he would have in arbitration from the Astros. If his shoulder was sound, he shouldn't have had any trouble getting Russ Ortiz money.
