Yay!

I dunno, it's been reported that he has a torn Oblique. I can't believe I fell asleep before that happened. I suck on so many levels. I'm sure you all agree

Do you have a reading disability? I said he was worthless right now due to the lack of Manny and the injuries. Then I said hopefully he can recover in the offseason and be back to normal or at least close to it next season. I don't care about any studies about protection, when Ortiz says it's not the same then that's what i'm buying thanks. Even if it's just affecting Ortiz Mentally it's still a problem not having Manny there. I'm not saying the team is screwed I just said the Rays are better right now and probably will be in 2009 as well. I'm also not saying that they should have kept Manny because that's ridiculous. So keep calling it my "gimmick" all you want and god forbid I make a post in a bit of frustration after watching my team get embarrassed at home. EDIT: ...and yes in MY opinion Manny was the anchor of that lineup and Ortiz benefited from him greatly, as did everyone else. Ortiz was phenomenal no doubt, but I think without "protection" he gets exposed a bit.

Rays are just better, and they definitely want it more. I don't even know what to thinbk about the Sox right now. Without Manny they just dont have that threat in the lineup anymore. Ortiz is nowhere near the hitter Manny is and was a product of Manny. The wrist and knee problems on top of that just make him completely worthless right now. Hopefully he recovers some in the off season, because if he can't get back to at least somewhat normal this team is in trouble. The pitching is there as long as they get help in the bullpen because Delcarmen, Oki, and co just aren't getting it done between the starters and Papelbon. I almost wish Lowell would just hang it up and make room for Youk to move over to 3B full time so they can go after Texiera or something. It's never gonna happen and I love Lowell so meh. They have enough young talent to keep competitive for a while so i'm not too concerned. I saw them win 2 WS titles so i'm good for a while. I'm actually happy for the Rays to be honest. They built the team the right way, and have arguably the best maneger in the game. I'll be rooting for them in the Series for sure.

Was peter ever near Linderman? Maybe future Peter learned the ability from someone else? He sure didn't seem too suprised when Nathan came back to life.

Change like what? I doubt it really.

Who gives a flying fuck about the TV ratings any championship series will get? You think the leagues are gonna fold because the ratings aren't as high for a TB/Philly series as they would be for an LA/Bos series? It's a useless conversation really. Bottom line is the best 2 teams in the league will play each other for the championship and the fanbases of those two teams will enjoy it. The Rays are a really great team this year, and probably will be next year too since they are all coming back. The Phillies are a really great team and are easily the best team in the NL right now. It's gonna be an awesome series for the people that actually do watch regardless of the ratings.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I wouldn't call Grant a disappointment because I expected him to suck. I'm happy for the guy since he cashed in on a hot streak though.

I don't know if it's true or not but Rotoworld said the move was made because Kazmir didn't want to chance pitching game 6 with Derryl Cousins behind the plate. I don't think it really matters anyways. The Rays are, and have been, the better team all year. Not having Lowell really hurts and the bullpen has sucked all year outside Papelbon.

This is embarrassing

Well I know Matt Ryan is for real at least. Turner and White are really friggin good as well.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Wow what a finish in Atlanta!!!!

Beckett is NOT healthy. Something is wrong when a guy who averages 95-97 is only hitting 92.

No, just leave this show on dammit! I don't understand why there's no love for this. I've really enjoyed pretty much every aspect of the show thus far.

Ah good point I didnt think of the lack of oxygen.

I believe with the Hiro/Adam thing that Hiro figured it would be more punnishment to bury him alive where nobody would find him, thus torturing him for eternity.

I'm thinking Sam is the dog. Like a shapeshifter or something.

That would work, but as soon as the hatian left he would heal the wound and be alive again.

The Haitian was there and he negated Peter's power. Yup. Also no Bennett in the future because i'm willing to bet he is dead, leading to Sylar naming his son after him.

...and as fantastic as he has been Francona pulls him after 7 with 109 pitches. I know there arent any "Horses" in baseball these days that can throw 130 but when a guy is dealing and not showing any signs of fatigue you have to run him out to at least start the inning with some relief warming.

That may be the worst called strike I have ever seen.

Can it really be called "sticking it to Boston" when the reason they got where they are is because their current best player faked an injury and cried his way out of Boston because he didn't feel like honoring the contract he signed 8 years ago? If the Sox don't win it all this year then I wouldn't mind seeing the Dodgers win it because I love Manny, Lowe, and Torre. I will always love Manny for everything he did for Boston but he can never be excused for the shenanigans he pulled this year before being traded.
