While it's true the Pats haven't played anyone decent besides indy, go back and look at the overall record of opponents during THE STREAK~! I think it's around 141-108 or something...
-
Actually the Sox bench is down to 5 with the subtraction of Youkilis and the addition of MENDOZA~! to the bullpen. Nixon WILL start every game in RF too since the Yanks don't have any lefties. bench: Meintkewicz, Reese, Roberts, Mirabelli, Kapler

Celtics cautiously select PF Tyson Chandler

I wouldn't say they're dismantling the division. I mean they technically aren't even in first place. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! W-E-A-K Schedule Schedule Schedule

So you're saying the Sox will win game 1?
-
I would like to think the New York Yankees with their 200 million dollar roster could survive through ONE game without a relief pitcher...

I'm not scared, really. Whomever wins is the best team. No arguments. I could really care less ad long as I see some great, exciting games.

I would love to see brown in game 7.
-
I'll take Arroyo over...Well we don't know who will be healthy enough to pitch a game 7 for the Yanks now do we? Brown? (Back injury, Broken hand) Lieber? (Back injury) El Douque? (Arm fell off) Vaz? (Brain injury)

Someone is over confident considering the Sox record vs. Anahiem is 5-4...and to show I actually researched this time... June 1st-June 2nd: L 7-6 L 10-7 July 15th-July 18th: L 8-1 W 4-2 L 8-3 W 6-2 August 31st-September 2nd: W 10-7 W 12-7 W 4-3 The series the Sox swept was during their hot period of like 18 wins in 20 games (or whatever it was). One thing is for sure: These two teams score a shit load of runs against each other.

Wow... First of all we will not see Lowe in any of these games unless it's a blowout or extra innings because he flat out sucks. Secondly the rotation is fine the way it was set up for the ALDS and it will remain that way. Schilling game 1, Pedro game 2, Arroyo game 3, and Wake game 4...you know the rest. The thing about Arroyo is, he has a good track record in "Big Games" so far this season. He pitched one of his best games last week against minny, and he has pitched well against the Yankees for the most part too. Wakefield may have had the Yanks number in the ALCS last year but that was last year. I take my chances with Arroyo over Wake anyday. Also, Wakefield can be used out of the bullpen in games he doesn;t start which gives the sox more depth in their weak pen. Lastly, Schilling will NOT pitch 3 games of this series even if it goes to game 7. With the bad ankle we will be lucky to get 2 games of 7 innings out of him as it is.
-
So is Schilling's ankle...
-
And we still should have won. Agreed, but they didn't.

I'm just glad I got what I wanted. Yanks/Sox ALCS is second to nothing in baseball right now. Should be an amazing series as usual with the winner going on to get annihilated in the World Series eventually. Just like last year, these two teams take everything out of one another. By the time one of them makes it to play St. Louis in the Series, they will have been drained emotionally and physically...just as the Yanks looked against Florida last season.

Celtics(heh) select PG, Gary Payton

No, because Washburn is many times better than Heredia. Ortiz always struggles against Lefties, Scioscia played by the numbers and lost.

No...you jackass...she wants to see if you can admit to making a mistake or not. Which you totally avoided.

Someone here might know more than I do on this whole embryo buisness. The research being done for stem cell stuff is using embryo's that people donate to fertility clinics right? Isn't that a better option than complete abortion where NOTHING can be gained?

Go Kerry!
-
Is he going to answer this question?
-
No, Embree pitches to both righties AND lefties. Usually a one innig guy. Myers only usually comes in for a batter or maybe 2 depending on the matchups.
-
He had absolutely NO idea what was coming at him from Myers. Myers could be one of the more important pickups made by theo this season...I mean it's under the radar and all but the guy is just MINT versus lefties.
