Probably IS a stupid move, but, i'm one to take risks I think Orlando can be a decent team this year with him being a nice piece.

First of all there ain't no friggin' Curse. Secondly, if the Yankees somehow don't make it to the ALCS(which would be unfortunate) then they weren't the best team in their series in the first place. Personally, I would love nothing more than to see the Yanks and Sox play in the ALCS again. I would love it if those two played each other EVERY year in the ALCS, because it's the most watched, most anticipated, and most entertaining series in baseball right now. Those are the best two teams in the league right now, and watching the best play each other is what everyone SHOULD look forward to. it's got nothing to do with curses or any other bullshit the media can throw at us. If the Sox and yanks do play in the ALCS, and the Sox won it...then lost in the World Series...would anything have been gained? Of course not!

The Yankees may have been the team with the best record, but they sure as hell aren't the best team. To further elaborate... I just think the pitching is going to kill them overall. Unlike Boston their staff isn't favorable in short playoff series'. The Twins have a real show with Santana and Radke in their matchups. If the Yanks have a lead after 6 innings though...it's all over for Minny.

I'm just praying that my Celtics really tank it this year. A top 5 draft pick and lots of cap space next season should make them somewhat of a contender. Pierce is nothing on his own, and definitely needs a second "star to play with. Hopefully they let Jefferson play Power Forward, and Delonte West run the point all year just to get them some experience. I really could care less if Payton actually shows up or not, i'm hoping he doesn;t I guess...since anything that makes them worse this year is GOOd for me

Well I WAS looking forward to getting this game fr a very long time. I was hoping they would implement the sportscenter and have weekly highlights like ESPN Football does, DENIED. Also noticed the fact that they made multiplayer franchises impossible...WHY?!?!?!?! Playing this game vs. the computer is boring, a friend and I love doing our franchises together using different teams. Guess I have to stick with 2K4

I want to keep it offline like it was last year. Set up a pinned thread for the picks to be made in, and we have PLENTY of time to finish. If it gets within a week or so to the start of the season THEN have an AIM draft to complete everything. There is NO need to rush this.
