Except my Pats won TWO Superbowls with a near nonexistent running attack. Why? Well because they didn't NEED one. they have the best QB in the NFL right now and he's proven that time and time again. 7-0 in Overtime BTW. 6-0 in the Playoffs. 18-1 in games deviced by 6 points or less. I'll take those stats over any others.

Who would have about no time left on the clock to do anything with a tie game. It's the overtime they were afraid of. They did not want to risk the Pats winning the coin toss and getting the ball first. Also, yes they ran all over the pats all day...UNTIL they got in the red zone. Out of all that rushing they ended up with only 1 TD by Rhodes. By right they should have been able to just run right by the pats in other Red Zone opportunities, but because the Pats' Defense plays for the Red Zone stop, that didn't happen.

Go back and watch replay's of the fumbles. The guy didnt just DROP the damn ball, it was knocked out of his hands by, get this, Patriots Defenseive Players!!!!!! Go figure!!!!

I have seen very many instances in baseball that the Cy Young went to the guy who had the most wins. As much as I disagree with that theory of voting for a Cy young winner, that is the way it goes many times. Compare Kevin Brown to John Smoltz in 1996 and I believe Brown deserved the Cy Young but because Smoltz was on a better overall TEAM he got 24 wins and brown only had 17...but Brown was unhittable that year.

I can't stand this explanation people give for a good team losing a game to another good team. "This team lost the game more than that team won the game". That is such garbage. The Colts, as usual, were outcoached by the Patriots. As far as I know, the Coaching Staff is part of the team...in the NFL it's an especially important part. The Colts ran the ball down the Patriots' throats all game, sure, then their star rusher got the ball knocked from his hands TWICE by the Patriots defense. Not to mention Brady and his recievers had a field day with the Colts' weak ass defense and only turned the ball over once due to a missed route. Try as hard as you want to believe the Patrots aren't better than the Colts but the fact is they cannot beat the Pats. The Patriots WON that game, and the Colts LOST that game. The better team WON the game.

...and to be real honest, their rotation isnt that much to be happy about either.

Letting a guy go is alot different than not being able to afford to keep said guy due to salary cap constraints. They made him a good offer, Oakcland overpaid him greatly. Pats had no chance of keeping him for reasonable money. Wilfork will make people forget him in a few weeks once he gets some real solid playing time.

Can't argue that at all. Bit high expectations for a defending champion in this league though. I LOVE the Dillon addition, but it's going to be tough for him seeing as Faulk is hurting to start the season. ook for TE Ben Watson, DE Richard Seymour, and LB Dan Klecko to see time at FB. Especially in short Red Zone situations. Very solid group of Recievers this year. I believe Branch will still be the go-to guy for Brady but Bethel Johnson will, I repeat, WILL have a significant breakout season becomng one of the league's best Reciever/kick returners. Graham is going to have to just keep his hands on the ball. Ben Watson is by FAR the best TE on this team, and one of the best recievers to boot. This guy is going to make Shockey look foolish both as a reciever and as a blocker. Actually Seymour sees most of his time at DE with Ty Warren at the other DE spot. Traylor and Wilork will spend ALOT of split time at Nose Tackle in the 3-4. The depth here on the line is rediculous with rookie Hill and Green who is very versatile at both DE and DT. Stubblefield and Bailey both done for the season really does put a dent in the line overall but no real big worries. I look for Wilfork to be the full time NT by the halfway point of this season with Traylor being the big run stopper when needed. Wilfork, like Watson on offense, is MINT. Definitely one of the best safety tandems in football right now with Wilson and Harrison. Also, Scott being on IR hurts, because he is done for the entire season.
