  1. Can't someone close this thread and/or ban this guy?

    HBK is a little unhappy

That's too nonsensical to even argue with.
  3. HBK is a great worker, not a good worker. And nothing you have said even comes close to argueing that. The rest of your speel is completly irrelevant to anything and no one in this whole thread has ever disputed it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Rrrsh, what more do you want? You've had numerous faults pointed out about Michaels ring work (eg believability, long-term selling, weak moveset etc.). You've been given countless examples of wrestlers *better* than Michaels. In terms of pure in ring ability, Michaels is not a great worker. This is not a biased viewpoint, it is an objective overview of Michaels ability. You calling him "a Grade A world class worker" is pure fanboy worship.

    HBK is a little unhappy

Giving HBK, at this point in his career, a mega push, and having him go over the guy you're building the future of your company around is nothing short of stupid. He still has worth to the company to work with and get younger workers over and work occasional "dream" matches with fellow "legends". A mega-push and title win are, or at least should be, out of the question.

    HBK is a little unhappy

Why would WWE *ever* do something as stupid as this? I mean obviously they are stupid, but this is beyond even the stupidest humans.
  6. I can only hope so. This has been one of the most pointless and repetitive "debates" i've ever seen on this board.

    HBK is a little unhappy

Or that not being cheered would conflict with his ego.

    HBK is a little unhappy

    What the fuck?
  9. Are you still arguing? I thought we settled this... Shawn Michaels was/is a good, but not great, worker and an excellent showman, with non-existent drawing ability. He was also, by all accounts, a complete prick backstage who used his position to play politics (sabotging careers, refusing to lose matches/drop titles, threatening to walkout etc.) which had an often detrimental effect on the product. This is how I see him, how most other knowledgeable people on here/elsewhere see him and it is the legacy by which he will be rememered.

    WWE Legal Battles

As far as I know. After all, he's not an idiot.

    I need a word.

Whats the first word that comes to your head?
  12. I completely agree with you on Michaels. A solid worker who bumped like hell and was entertaining to watch. Unfortunately, most HBK marks (Rrrsh, JoeJoe etc) can't have him be called anything other than "a grade A world class worker". And I also agree that ratings have no bearing on my enjoyment of a wrestler. I can enjoy watching Shawn Michaels in the ring, even though he wasn't/isn't a ratings draw. However, the same HBK fanboys won't accept that he was anything other than a ratings god. And as another point, is no one else disturbed by this?... Bret Hart never drew shit. Undertaker never drew shit either. All this Michaels hate is fucking pathetic on this board. The man busts his ass in that ring for the fans. Seriously, you all need to stop looking at all this political bullshit. And add the Smarts God Benoit himself to the list of people who didn't draw shit. Faced with a criticism of Shawn that you can't defend, simply bash Bret Hart and others who have *absolutley* nothing to do with the discussion.
  13. Nobody has, at any point in this thread, said that Shawn Michaels is anything other than a good wrestler and an excellent showman. The problem is that some people are too blinded by their HBK markdom that they take this as an insult. Anything other than Michaels being considered a workrate god and ratings mega-draw results in "OMG SHAWN HATERZ! BRET HART SUX!".
  14. To answer the original question, Shawn Michaels being this generation's Ric Flair is a good comparison, in terms of showmanship. But this comparison only works if you accept that neither are world class workers.
  15. No, he puts everyone who repeats the same nonsense in every post on ignore. And he does know what he's talking about. The only ones being ignorant are those claiming that HBK is some kind of workrate god and a ratings draw, and calling everyone who argues with them a "HBK hater", or worse bringing up Bret Hart in every post even though he has absolutely shit all to do with the argument.
  16. Please, like Ric Flair has any respect for his already tarnished legacy. He'll do whatever angle is asked of him by WWE.
  17. The Ignore list grows. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> blah blah blah blah blah <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's getting awfully repetitive in here.
  18. That just shows you have no clue what your talking about.

    Shit-storm coming for Kanye?

Call him a phony baloney. Go on, do it.
  20. What's this about? Is he out of contract soon?
  21. Translation: I've never seen a wrestling match outside of WWE.
  22. As I said in the other thread about HBK... The only "Shawn bias" on here is coming from you and the other HBK-fanboys. You're simply too blinded in your fandom that you won't listen to reasonable discussion about him and his many flaws as well as his strenghts. Therefor, i'm going to give up even attempting to get through to you.

  24. Thats an utterly terrible argument. Shawns not believable? "Oh, go watch Puro! This is SPORTZ-ENTERTAINMENT!"
  25. But you're just making that up to suit your story. WCW wasn't an unstoppable ratings juggernaut until late '96. Shawn period of being the sole focus of the show didn't have to compete with the NWO at its peak. He still flopped.
