Caught some Xplosion last night. Seems like they have a new ref who's a woman. Never seen a woman wrestling ref before. Tenay and West made some good points about her not being distracted by the likes of Gail and Tracy.

The long term planning with the main events...hopefully they don't all involve Jarrett.

Hopefully TNA didn't sign up BPP or Buff. And overness in the Impact Zone doesn't really equal overness outside of it. Which is why these "house shows" are gonna be good to see who's really connecting with the fans.

Second show does not sound good, but it could end up being good. I think there's a lot the crowd haven't seen though that will spice things up. Like the tape.

I hope they run with that gimmick. The heel who actually has some sense as to what's really going on.

Is this big star "returning for the World X Cup" or "for the returning World X Cup"? If it's someone who was already in TNA, hm....I have no clue.

I was on the TNA Forums and it seems that Alex Shelley has posted this on the boards. Hello TNA fans – how was your weekend? Sucks to be you if you happen to live in the northeast with all that snow. Me? I just got back from sunny California! I hit a few beaches, did some swimming, worked on my tan – and oh yeah, I saw everyone’s favorite man in black, the Stinger. Think I’m lying? I think the attached photo is proof enough, kiddies! You’ll see more on Saturday night. I don’t want to give everything away before my big premiere! Well, I’ve got some good news and some bad news about ol’ Stevie Borden. First the bad news: from the looks of things, Stinger was serious about hanging up the black boots and trench coat. The good news? He’s certainly keeping himself busy picking up his rugrats from school, playing basketball in the backyard and helping his wife hang out laundry. Is this what happens to wrestling icons when they walk away from the ring? How pathetic! Seriously, it really amazed me how oblivious Sting was that I was filming him the entire time. He never even noticed me tailing him from his house to the gym, even when I pulled up right next to him on the highway! I gotta be honest with you – all those years at the top of the wrestling business sure paid for a nice palatial estate. Swimming pool, basketball court, not to mention the big driveway where he parks his Excursion. I guess Stinger’s not too concerned about the price of gasoline these days! And oh, by the way – Mrs. Sting is certainly a looker! Meee-yowww! So once again, mission accomplished! What we got on Jackie is gonna seem like child’s play compared to this. Bill Banks said he got off the phone with him and confirmed it, so it seems Shelley did this on his own which is pretty cool.

I think TNA is doing the right thing. It's testing out the market with less at stake than if they're doing a show all by themselves. A few house trials won't hurt.

Yea, it has to be a very clean win for it to work. I'd like Shelley to do it. He's got a lot of momentum now but I don't see Joe losing for some time though.

The posting on the message board was all Shelley it appears. The actual filming or snapshots or whatever, I'm not sure. I doubt he actually followed and stalked Sting and his family. Though you never know.

I like that the WWE is starting to get scared of TNA or at least seeing them in the rear view mirror. And Goldberg...I dunno, it'd be interesting but it'd also be TNA and Spike paying a lot of money for a backstage ass, unless he wants to actually help TNA just to piss Vince off.

I think TNA has the right to do so. I think the punishment may be severe, but I see where they're coming from. Yea, other guys have no showed in the past, but that was in the past. We've got a new CEO and apparently harsher penalties for choosing something that could've been a potential disaster. If they want the tv time in the second biggest fed in the country, deal with it. Though TNA should've reimbursed for their missed payday.
