I dunno if Roode has given enough matches to prove himself...I can only remember him in matches against 3LK, so that doesn't help. I think from what I've seen though, he can be a major player. I know a lot of people hate Sonjay, but every time he's on tv, I watch. I find him entertaining and I love spotfests once in a while, and he's perfect for those. So right now, I have to go with Sonjay just because I like his matches more.

They could probably add maybe 2 more matches and make the ones they usually do longer, which is what we want from the X matches anyway. Guys like The Naturals, Chris Sabin, Roderick Strong, Austin Aries...they can have stuff to do to keep themselves in the fans' minds each week. I see your point. Perhaps TNA thinks that 3 months of exposure of TNA is good enough to warrant this feud. Better do it now than when these "newer additions" have been with TNA for a year and it doesn't make sense.

I didn't see power vs speed. The way the storyline went, I assumed it was the whole beating respect into Joe, while at the same time not showing Joe any respect by hulking up and kicking out quickly.

It wasn't nonsense in my eyes. I thought it added a lot. The fans loved it and the reaction on Samoa's face was fantastic. First it was AJ not giving the respect of a 2 count the move deserved. Then it was like, Samoa wondering what the hell? How could AJ kick out of that move?

Just saw the match on the ppv. Damn, what a match...I can finally have a real opinion on it now and I thought it was a better match than the last encounter. I'm a novice when it comes to recognizing stories in matches, but I definitely saw a great one in the ring right there. Especially the kickout by Styles at the one count at the end.

Maybe they're thinking that it's the holidays so maybe people won't watch anyways, hence nothing really happening. Glad to see Shannon back, saw that he has a new look from some pics a few weeks back.
