Honestly, I couldn't tell ya since I've never seen any other match with him. But he did some really nice power moves including the muscle buster. Didn't get to see the Ole kick, though. Was looking forward to it, too.

Good move...and I just don't see Rhodes doing motivational speeches for Victoria's Secrets and BB&B.
-
Can someone describe the Ole Kick?

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

JBL WAS CHAMP BECAUSE HHH DIDN'T WANT TO WORK TUESDAYS!!! LOL -
I really doubt that. There's no Goldilocks around this time.
-
Amazing Red will also show.
-
Hmm...Jerry Lynn would be an awesome wild card since he has that history with AJ. Sonny Siaki-I don't reallly see it. Jeff Hardy would be suitable, moreso than Waltman.
-
I haven't seen great stuff from him from the small amount of times TNA uses him, but he's pretty decent in the ring and has a nice cult following in Orlando. I like him.
-
Are you thinking of 1wrestling?
-
Heh, looks like someone was mad that TNA wasn't listening at his offers...
-
IF that's true, then TNA is stupid because the station's not going to change the time the news is gonna come on, especially for just one night out of the week.
-
Man, I would love to see a great X-division match, obviously. Just a straight up one on one match, but to appeal to the spot fest lovers and just to showcase the athleticsm, maybe one of those 4 way or 6 way match ups. AJ Styles is needed to be shown that he is a great wrestler and be made into that mainstream star that he can be. I really hate to see old guys, but to pull in some casual fans, maybe the New Age Outlaws and Konnan can do so.
-
The 6-sided ring rules! It doesn't hinder a match or anything and it separates the two companies. It's not "traditional", but it deosn't mean people are gonna laugh. I think people will tune in thinking it's interesting instead of completely bashing it.

saw the show late last night as well. Surprised to see Sabin get some speaking time. The main event set up a nice rift between Brown and Jarrett, so I think they're just gonna go at it in the match instead of working together.
-
If it is true, then it's good news in the fact that after 3 years of hard work, TNA has finally got that primetime cable deal on Monday nights and congrats to them. I think one hour of head to head is a good thing...TNA's strongest hour vs WWE's weakest...least that's a start to a "war". But that's if it's all true...time to wait for an official announcement.
-
That's a really bad pic of Trinity.
-
How about TNA stream iMPACT! for at least a week or two if there's no deal? The fans will still get to watch at Orlando and the internet fans who already watch the show will still be able to see the building of the storylines.
-
I think it's TNA choosing not to. I believe I read that FSN wanted to renew, but of course that would mean TNA had to pay to stay on the air. I think they'd rather not pay the 30k a week and try to get a prime time deal.
-
I think it's worth it to wait for Spike...but just for a few more days. But I agree, WGN is as good as FSN, but with primetime! So if nothing happens, there's always WGN.
-
I thought the same way. Probably likes the idea of the committee now or something.
-
Yea, they were supposed to be dead a lot of times. Every time I read someone saying they're gonna die soon, I just chuckle and don't even give it a second thought any more. Anyway, I'm also rooting for Spike TV obviously. I mean, WGN is fine for me since I get it, but TNA needs a nationwide audience that actually watches the network.

Good episode of Impact today. Oh man, Raven seeking the world title, that's awesome. I was just cracking up as he was beating up on Zybysko. I liked how Abyss turned on Jarrett, that was nice. Looks like the Sabin-Shane feud is gonna intertwine with the X-division title picture. Good storylines today.

All right, we'll see...and to the Hoyt thing, I agree that he probably would get a different reaction elsewhere. But maybe elsewhere would see the crowd cheering for him in Orlando and would say, "Hey, they cheer for this guy, maybe we should too." I think I've read that the crowd cheered for Hoyt first when he was still with Kid Kash, and Kash has that following so it wouldn't totally be a joke with the fans. Regardless, I find myself liking Hoyt and thing he can be a big part of TNA.

That "super duper show"...well, TNA wants Slammiversary to be that big show, so I don't think it'll be in September.
