It snowed last night in Houston for an hour or two. People were making such a big deal on the news, and rightfully so. Texas snow...it's wonderful. I had to go out and take pics just because it was so rare.

Looks like mixed reviews from all the critics, but I saw it tonight and enjoyed it. It gets dragged on as said above, but some of the songs I really liked listening to. I don't think it's a must see, but if you've got time and money, check it out.

Just wanted to say I finally saw it tonight on replay. Loved it. But I'm not one to critique a match like some of you.
-
Petey does have a very ridiculous finisher. But I wait and mark out for it every single time, so I must love it.

If Destination X showcases the X division, I wouldn't care about the name.

I voted yes. A few months ago when the talk was MAYBE give Monty the title, I was against it. But now, he's got the fans behind him and I say let's go for it. The POOOOOOUUUUUUUNCE is not being mocked. I think the fans really enjoy it. Not only that but I mark out for it each and every time for some reason, however stupid it may sound.

Sounds like a great ending to the show. I gotta see that one.
-
Well, I don't have PPV access here at college, but it does look like a nice lineup. Hope they have a great show.

At least it's a better name than Victory Road. Anyway, they have an early graphic and video for it. Video is pretty slick and Jeff Hardy actually says two words!!! http://tnawrestling.com/turningpoint/video...ningPoint30.wmv

" - Dusty Rhodes, Bob Ryder, and Jerry Jarrett spoke to the wrestlers yesterday at the Impact taping. Dusty was introduced as the new booker. Dusty told the wrestlers that he had a vision for the company and asked everyone to be patient while he makes that vision a reality. Word is that Dusty really won over the wrestlers and that everyone left the meeting with positive feelings. - Dusty Rhodes also met with the X-Division wrestlers yesterday. He told them that he is a big fan of their work but that he doesn't know their characters, which means the fans don't either. He told them that they will now get more chances to cut promos and interact with the fans. He added that if the fans don't connect with you, you can't draw money, so he wants them to grow their characters and become bigger parts of TNA." ---------------------------------------------- Good thing I see out of it is character developement for the X-guys.

Ratings for the two BDSSP shows and VR
Astro101 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
I'm hoping TNA will get that weekly show. Numbers were close to that .35 FSN was looking for. -
If the final ratings and buyrates are what's expected, then that's awesome news.
-
Yes. If the company survives, yes there will be a DVD of their first major 3 hr PPV. Two and a half years and people are still saying that...no offense, but it's kinda getting old.

I was more annoyed at Arnold than Chris Rose when Arnold was calling Sabin, Skipper, and Dutt as the White Guy, the Black guy, and the little Indian guy.
-
Yea, it's really amazing what one guy can do. Almost gave me goosebumps.
-
Wow...just saw the Victory Road opener. It's so damn awesome.
-
Can't wait. Wrestling in primetime and it's not WWE!
-
It's too bad Truth isn't in the position Monty's in. I mean, I think Brown's the best option at this point, but at the same time, they need someone more established, like a Truth who is in the thick of things and can play to the fans. Kind of a double edged sword.
-
Ok, his matches need work. But I still find him entertaining and so do the fans.

I actually like Hector Garza. -
- Mascarita Sagrada vs. Piratita Morgan in a Battle of Lucha Libre Minis has been added to the November 7th TNA Victory Road PPV. - Fox Sports Net plans to heavily promote TNA on "The Best Damn Sports Show" in November. The show will air from Universal Studios and at least two episodes will focus entirely on TNA. The plan is to heavily promote TNA's second PPV which is scheduled for December. - TNA's second PPV will be called "Turning Point." - The TNA website has opened a subsection on Monty Brown. - Pat Kenney is expected to work as a heel when he returns as The Empire Saint. - Since leaving TNA, Big Vito has started working in Germany for the European Wrestling Promotion. Credit: PWInsider.com ----------------------------------------------------- Well, at least they're gonna use some FSN resources and promote the show, which is great news. Still don't get the whole minis thing though...
-
Sounds like a good show, and the main event picture looks to be shaping up very well.
-
Good news for TNA.
-
Wow...only three matches. That's different.

There wasn't a drop. The 9/3 did .05 better than the previous one.
