Yea, they teased it, I admit, wrong wording. I meant TNA hasn't hyped it up and that TNA hasn't put it in the preview and said the match was gonna happen.
-
I think Styles was doing that TNA talk thing. I liked that Vengence comment. I really don't have a problem with it. They're just saying what I'm thinking. And TNA hasn't teased a catfight. It's not like they put it up in the preview.
-
Looks like he can move, but all we've seen are some side slams and a match with Watts.
-
I think the heavyweight, tag, Kash/Lynn, and maybe Legend/Jarrett will be good. I think it has a chance to be a very solid show.
-
Singles match will be better than that tag match.
-
Bob Ryder said it's a 6 man although I think a 4 way would be a better match. And he said Paul London may return next week!
-
WWE IS BEHIND ALL THIS!!!
-
Well, I had been a fan of Sanders when he came in, but he wasn't given stuff to work with and with what he was doing, it wasn't impressive. Too bad David Young is out, I think a feud with Siaki earlier in the year would've worked. And please! NO BEST OF AIRINGS! Just move to a different place!
-
The direction TNA has been going in is ok. They can't have blowaway shows every week, but the shows have been solid most of the time.

I'm on a roll copying and pasting! AJ STYLES (With Vince Russo) VS D-LO BROWN NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH D-LO Brown finally gets what he has been asking for, a shot at AJ Styles for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Vince Russo has told Brown that he and Styles are the “Complete Package”, but Brown says he’s going to have an “Equalizer”. Exactly what did D-LO mean? Find out this Wednesday when D-LO and AJ square off with the NWA World Heavyweight Title up for grabs. AMERICA’S MOST WANTED VS SIMON DIAMOND & JOHNNY SWINGER NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Diamond & Swinger have appeared on TNA before, and this time they are gunning for AMW in hopes of beating them for the NWA World Tag Team Titles. AMW defended the belts last week against Sonny Siaki and David Young and are ready for all challengers. This week they defend against two former ECW stars who are looking to walk away with AMW’s title belts. JEFF JARRETT VS LEGEND Jeff Jarrett was brutalized last week by the surprise attack from the massive Legend, and will be looking for revenge this week. Jarrett is still aching from the beating he took last week and won’t be anywhere near 100% for this match, but will be looking to reverse roles this week by inflicting a beating on Legend. SHANE DOUGLAS VS JULIO DENIRO Shane Douglas looks to continue his rampage this week as he takes on Julio Deniro. Douglas has bragged that he and James Mitchell have put both Raven and CM Punk out of action in recent weeks, and is looking to add another victim this Wednesday night. Will Deniro be on the receiving end of a fireball from James Mitchell? Find out Wednesday! JERRY LYNN & ERIK WATTS VS KID KASH & THE ABYSS Jerry Lynn challenged Justin Credible to a “Last Man Standing” match for this week, but Credible declined to accept the challenge. Instead, Lynn will be teaming with Erik Watts to take on the team of Kid Kash & The Abyss. ALSO ON THE SHOW Chris Sabin has told Frankie Kazarian he’ll have to earn his shot at the X Title, and has come up with a special qualifying challenge for Kazarian on this week’s show. Sandman barely survived the Hard 10 Tournament and will be on hand this week for the official presentation of the Hard 10 Championship. James Mitchell will answer questions about his recent actions in a sit down interview. Raven is still out of action as a result of the fireball attack two weeks ago and will not appear on this week’s program. What will Mitchell have to say about that? Shark Boy will be at the Asylum, but New Jack is out of action recovering from injuries suffered last week. Without New Jack around to look out for him, will Shark Boy be able to keep his mask? All this and much more…only on iN DEMAND and DirecTV Channel 102. -------------------------------------------------------- Looks like a good show. I love the fact that it's not the same old matches every week. There's actually some freshness. Kazarian in action=good for me. But what about SHOCKER and NEGRO CASAS???
-
Sucks that they cancelled out. But at least TNA didn't bait and switch.

Greetings once again from the Music City, and a Monday edition of From the Inside… The backstage area looked like an emergency room Wednesday night, as there were injuries-a- plenty to deal with. Jeff Jarrett left the building right away after the beat down he took at the hands of Vince Russo, AJ Styles, and Legend. Jarrett's rib area was understandably in pain after taking those numerous baseball bat shots. Jarrett will be seeing his doctor again today, as it is still giving him pain. New Jack collapsed backstage following his Hard 10 match. An ambulance arrived, but was not needed. Trinity banged up her knee after being thrown over the top rope by D'Lo Brown. She was walking on it later on in the night, but it needed to be iced down. Frankie Kazarian had a very sore neck after taking the Styles Clash from AJ Styles. He was attended to by our trainer immediately following the match. Look for vignettes to start this week for the return of Chris Daniels. Contrary to what has been reported elsewhere, the decision to tone down the language was done in house, and not at the advice or urging of any of our television affiliates. Part two of Sting: Behind the Paint airs this Wednesday night. Tenay does word association with the Stinger, which should have people talking. I had a weird brush with fame last Sunday in Orlando. I ran into George Clooney at a TGI Friday's near the airport. Abyss and Eric Watts had a very solid outing this past Wednesday night. It was the best match Watts has had in TNA, and everyone was very impressed with how good Abyss is. Keep your eye on him. If he continues to improve at the rate he is now, he will be a main eventer in the future. Speaking of the Future, it looks as though we are in for a red hot feud between Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian. TNA Xplosion is picking up markets fast. Look for us to debut in Worchester, Mass in next week. Check out the entire Xplosion station list on nwatna.com. Xplosion is set to be seen in over 50 markets by the end of the year. Things are very good for a TNA video game in the near future. More on this as it develops. We have pretty much narrowed down the content on our three upcoming home video releases, which will be taking orders soon on nwatna.com. The three titles are tentatively going to be called "TNA's Bloodiest Brawls," "The Best of the X-Division," and "The Best of TNA Ladder Matches." These titles will be released both on VHS and DVD. Look for a content lineup and release date to be announced soon. Billy Corgan was backstage Wednesday night. I am a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan. For someone who has attended many of his concerts, it was really cool talking shop with him. After the show we talked outside of the Asylum for a while and talked about every match on the show. I always love hearing opinions of people outside of the business who really know their stuff. His critique was very impressive… he knows his stuff. Bob Mould (a great musician from bands The Replacements and Sugar) was on the WCW creative team for a while, and he also had an incredible mind for the business. On the flipside, my musician brother Eric, who has played with everyone from George Strait to John Fogerty, often gives me reviews like, "Boy, that Lollypop has great boobs," and "That New Jack is one crazy bastard…" Ira Dean from Trick Pony was in attendance last Wednesday night as well. Legend had a strong debut last Wednesday night. I look forward to seeing what he can do in TNA. In my opinion, TNA has the strongest roster of in ring talent we've had in the company's history. Every week I go into the Clear Channel Broadcasting Studios to record our weekly radio spots, and I must say, the voice processing they do is amazing. After I voice the ad, they work their magic and I end up sounding like a monster truck ad guy. The amazing thing is being a Minnesotan, off the air I actually speak like they do in the movie Fargo. Billy Bob Thorton announced he is having a concert in Nashville in a few weeks. That should be good. Oh wait, no actually it should suck. Have you heard his new single? It makes William Shatner's music look like the Beatles. Bill Banks starts with TNA next week. Banks will be helping behind the scenes. I received a ton of email in regards to my Gary Coleman story from last week. Apparently on a recent edition of E!'s Star Dates, he takes his date to a model train store. What an idiot. I had one woman email me from the mall he worked security at, talking about how he constantly hounded her in the store when he made his security rounds during the day. The interesting thing I forgot to mention was that Coleman strangely bragged to me about how he was still a virgin during our car ride to the arena. I'm beginning to think it may not be by his choice. The skydiving trip I had planned with Scott Baio and Konnan in San Diego has been postponed until further notice. Mark my words… I will skydive with Scott Baio… I cannot let America down… Someone emailed me asking who the greatest wrestling announcer of all time is. Interesting question and one that certainly is open to debate. Some would say Gordon Solie, while others would say Jim Ross or Mike Tenay. I think there is a strong case for all three. As far as emotion goes, there is no one better than Jim Ross. Some of the most memorable moments in WWE would not have been the same without JR. You cannot teach someone emotion, and he definitely is a natural. The readers of the Observer voted Mike Tenay as the #1 guy in the biz in 2002, and is unmatched when it comes to knowledge of this biz. No one has ever doubted that the nickname of "The Professor" suits him well. I'm thrilled that TNA has allowed Tenay to be himself, and with that freedom he has really been able to show the world how good he really is. For those who watched "The Dean" growing up, nostalgic memories of that time period are certainly looked back on with Solie being a major part. Those who watched in the Mid- South area might say Lance Russell, who was very good as well. The one factor when it comes to announcing above all else is the product. A good announcer cannot make a bad product good. Period. A great announcer can make a great product even better, and all of these guys did a fantastic job of doing so over the span of their careers. This Wednesday night will be the showdown between AJ Styles and D'Lo Brown for the NWA World Title. Every time these two have been in the ring together, either as a tag team or their singles encounters, has been great. Both men are shooting to make this one of the best matches of their careers, and I doubt they will disappoint. See ya Wednesday night! Jeremy Borash [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------- I guess all that talk about the equalizer wasn't about tag match partners, but instead ring side people? Because AJ is facing D'Lo for the World Title. I'm glad he's defending his belt often.
-
Well, they'll probably be back. Something about conflicts or contract problems.
-
it's on the TNA website.
-
I agree with you Zack. And I'm sure Sabin joined SEX just because they helped him out winning the title.
-
Vacation over TNA? That ain't hardcore! Or should I say, Hard10!!?
-
From what I've seen, it's just Bobo.
-
Wednesday-3 year anniversary of the Bash at the Beach incident....dum dum duuuum
-
I'm pretty sure it wasn't on purpose. I think it would be too dangerous to do if you were planning to do it beforehand.
-
I don't get it. Is this all sarcasm?
-
Well, 1wrestling said in its PPV report that it'll be Shocker vs Negro Casas in a first round tourney match. Either way, I'm for X division matches.
-
Actually, its for the 2nd of July, my mistake. AMERICA'S MOST WANTED VS SONNY SIAKI & DAVID YOUNG NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH The team of Chris Harris & James Storm (America's Most Wanted) recaptured the NWA World Tag Team Titles last week in a grueling cage match against Triple X. Both men came out of the match banged up and aren't even near 100%. They'll be defending the belts this week against the team of Sonny Siaki & David Young, a team that just might be in the right place at the right time. Will Siaki & Young be able to take advantage of the situation? Find out Wednesday night! JERRY LYNN VS JUSTIN CREDIBLE RUSSIAN CHAIN MATCH In the "good old days" when two men couldn't settle their differences in a "traditional" wrestling match, promoters would come up with a "gimmick match" to bring a feud to conclusion. The match between Jerry Lynn and Justin Credible might not accomplish bringing the feud to conclusion, but the "Russian Chain Match" is one of the great "gimmick matches" from the "good old days". It's a really a simple concept. Two men are connected to each other by a steel chain, and they can use it to beat each other senseless. SANDMAN VS NEW JACK HARD 10 TOURNAMENT FINALS The Hard 10 Tournament concludes with a battle between two of the most "extreme" guys on the TNA roster. When you think "hardcore", Sandman and New Jack are two of the first names that come to mind. This unique tournament has played out over the last several weeks to determine the toughest and most hardcore wrestler in TNA. Expect a brutal and physical battle that will likely take place all over the Asylum. ERIK WATTS VS KID KASH'S MONSTER Kid Kash has a new "protector" in the form of the mysterious monster he found in the cage backstage at TNA. The monster has made an impact the last couple of weeks with his attacks on Erik Watts and Goldylocks, and this week Watts has a chance to get his revenge in the ring. Erik Watts faces his biggest challenge this week as Kash unleashes his monster again. Will Erik Watts be able to survive a one on one confrontation? STING: BEHIND THE MASK Mike Tenay sat down for an interview with Sting before our Anniversary Show and the result is a fascinating look at one of the most popular wrestlers of all time. Sting answers questions you never thought he would answer and shoots straight about his career and the people who influenced him along the way. Part one of the interview airs this Wednesday night, and if you ever needed a reason to set your VCR for a TNA show you're got it this week. ALSO ON THE SHOW AJ Styles and D-LO Brown came to blows last week in a wild impromptu cage match that did nothing to settle their differences. D-LO wants something AJ has, and that's the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Will they come to blows again this week? When, if ever, will D-LO get a shot at the belt? What about Jeff Jarrett? He still wants the rematch that Vince Russo says he will never receive. Frankie Kazarian proved a point last week in his match with Chris Sabin. These two had a great match that left the crowd wanting more. They are both scheduled to be at the Asylum on Wednesday night. Shane Douglas said last week he had sold his soul to the devil, and later in the program the devil turned out to be James Mitchell who ended up throwing a fireball in Raven's face at the end of the program. What does Mitchell have planned this week, and how will Shane Douglas fit into those plans? All this and much more, and only on pay-per-view! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Sting interview looks intriguing as there are gonna be two parts. Way to milk out that contract TNA! I hope AMW will have a good match with Young/Siaki. TNA needs some more tag teams in there. I also hope that Kazarian and Sabin will be wrestling, together or not. 2 X division matches is always a good thing. And finally! HARD 10 TOURNEY IS OVER!
-
Dunno if it's for the World or X title, but if the good things are true in what I heard about these guys...either way, the title match will be good considering it's either Styles or Sabin. EDIT: Ok.....I just went to observer and didn't see this in the PPV report last night. He must've added it in afterwards or something. "Negro Casas vs. Shocker vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Paul London with the winner getting an X title match at Chris Sabin"
-
Frankie Kazarian is NOT bland! And that Styles Clash...I was grimacing at that one. OUCH
-
Damn, I'm guessing everyone's on vacation or something? Ok show tonight, nothing special, but decent nonetheless.
