  1. Sharkboy and New Jack should teach each other some things. If they start tag teaming against others, they should eventually do a thing where they pick stuff up from each other. Like, gradually, Sharkboy could become more hardcore and New Jack could do, like a suplex.
  2. With Sharkboy in the background with those Hulk Hands during the Hard 10...I almost cried laughing. Love that stuff. It was a good show tonight. I'm expecting New Church to rise from the dead in the cage match next week. They were born for it. All the matches were decent to good...but some of the endings sucked. I was entertained, and I guess that's what matters.

    No More Mike Tenay?

I hope it isn't true, cuz one, Mike is the best in the business, two, it's too petty. He's an announcer! He doesn't cover Raven or Sanders for the one two three.
  4. from nwatna.com AJ STYLES & MYSTERY PARTNER VS JEFF JARRETT & STING AJ Styles defeated Jeff Jarrett last week to win the NWA World Heavyweight Title, with help from a surprising source....Vince Russo. After taking out Raven and Glenn Gilberti the last couple of weeks with a baseball bat, Russo crashed one of Jarrett's own guitars over his head to set up the win by Styles. Immediately following the match, Jarrett challenged Styles to a rematch, but Styles declined and said he had 30 days before he had to defend the belt against Jarrett. Jarrett countered with a challenge that Styles couldn't pass up. Jarrett told AJ to find a partner and to face Jarrett in a tag match on the Anniversary Show. Jarrett's partner is none other than the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and former 6 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion STING. STING is one of the top names in the wrestling business and will be making a rare appearance on the TNA Anniversary Show on June 18. One of the most beloved performers in wrestling history, STING will be competing in his first televised match in the United States since his final appearance for WCW on the last episode of NITRO. TRIPLE X (Champions) VS AMERICA'S MOST WANTED NWA WORLD TAG TITLE MATCH AMW won the rights to challenge Triple X by winning the Asylum Alliance Tournament with a win last week over David Young and Tracy. Chris Harris & James Storm were the hottest tag team in the business just a few months ago, but have had their problems of late. Those problems seem to be behind them and they have their minds set on recapturing the tag titles against Triple X. It won't be easy, though, since they have failed to get a win over Triple X in three previous attempts. Chris Daniels & Elix Skipper will have an insurance policy in the form of Low-Ki, the third member of Triple X. Low-Ki has been out of action with an injury, but will be at the Asylum this week to make sure things go Triple X's way. CHRIS SABIN (Champion) VS PAUL LONDON Paul London is the current number one contender for the X Title but has been unable to take advantage of his chance to challenge for the title because of commitments in Japan. Sabin doesn't appear to be anxious to face London, who like Sabin is a rising star in the wrestling business. Sabin, perhaps looking forward to the match with London, nearly lost his title last week to Shark Boy in what would have been a major upset. JERRY LYNN VS JUSTIN CREDIBLE This grudge match, between two former ECW Champions, has been building up for a few weeks starting with a disagreement in a tag match and exploding last week in an appearance in the "Interrogation" segment that ended in a wild pull apart brawl. Both men feel they have something to prove and both will be looking to get a win that will move them into title contention. MIKE SANDERS VS NEW JACK HARD 10 SEMIFINAL MATCH On paper this looks like a total mismatch. The "Hard 10" tournament format would seem to play right into New Jack's hands. Afterall, you can't get much more hardcore than New Jack. Sanders has somehow survived the hardcore competition so far, and is hoping his luck hasn't run out. Hopefully the TNA trainer has added a staple remover to his medicine bag. D-LO BROWN, SANDMAN, & FRANKIE KAZARIAN VS SONNY SIAKI, DAVID YOUNG, DON HARRIS Frankie Kazarian says he's the "Future", and he was certainly impressive in his TNA debut a couple of weeks ago. This week he gets a chance to show that deserves a permanent spot on the TNA roster. He'll be teaming up with D-LO Brown and Sandman to take on three members of Sports Entertainment Xtreme. Also on the show: BG James, Konnan & Truth have requested a sit down interview with Mike Tenay and Erik Watts will be out for revenge against Kid Kash. ALL THIS WEDNESDAY ON PAY-PER-VIEW!!!!!- --------------------------------------------------------------------- All looks good except for maybe the Hard 10, unless Shark Boy is involved. The 6 way tag is just...weird...TNA coulda put together a better random match than that. Other than those two...looking forward to the show. Can't believe it's been a year.

    Who is Aj's partner

JIMMY YANG!!! Maybe not him, but please, not Sabu.

    Jeremy Borash report

No mention of Hudson? Maybe he was supposed to host that TNA Talk dealy. What the hell happened to that anyway?
  7. Astro101

    Who is Aj's partner

I think Vince is smarter than putting himself in the main event. For storyline purposes anyway, AJ and him could pick someone else and make it practically a 3 on 2 instead of a 2 on AJ and a non wrestler in Russo.
  8. Astro101

    Who is Aj's partner

    I would say D'Lo.
  9. Astro101

boy has this guy pissed ME off

bps, you're not the only one who doesn't hate him. I think pairing him with AJ is cool as long as AJ wins clean once in a while.
  10. Astro101

boy has this guy pissed ME off

Boy, people are writing about Russo a lot today. There was an open letter to him on PWTorch.

    Desire seriously injures back

    Syxx...you're delusional.
  12. I think if JJ kicked out the heel section would've stormed the ring.
  13. I wanted a World Title Match on the show next week...but I'll take this tag match. Sting rocks...but will they play up the WWA/NWA thing? Scott Hudson is back, I like him more than Goldy. I liked when Schivone was there they made him the SEX interviewer. I wouldn't mind Hudson and Goldy splitting time up like that. All the interference from SEX or Xtreme Revolution, 2 Evenflows doesn't take out JJ. Now we know what does. A guitar shot and the Styles Clash. Now that's how you surprise the people. BTW, Sharkboy and New Jack is gold.

    TNA's Preview For June 11th

I'm sure he'll drop too, but I won't stop watching if he becomes champ. I watch TNA for other things besides the title.

    Bret Hart WWE Poll

I voted like, multiple times one second after the other and I don't believe that hundreds of people are voting every second. Unless they're doing the same thing I'm doing...so I dunno.

    TNA's Preview For June 11th

    Dudes, Norman Smiley rocks.
  17. Astro101

    does jarrett have a deathwish?

I don't think D'Lo's getting a match against Jarrett soon.
  18. Astro101

    Yet another

I know the Stryker Driver is a Death Valley Driver. The other two I forgot.

    TNA's Preview For June 11th

Maybe they're taking some advice, putting out the previews earlier....wish they had better matches this week though. Finally Sabin will defend the X title, and I'm sure that will be a good match. I hope Smiley is the Hard 10 participant-he's always entertaining to me and will make the match watchable. And let's hope that the Truth/Konnan match with the Harris Bros will end the angle, thus abling Truth to move back where he belongs, in the title picture.

    World Title Scene predictions

Jerry Lynn wrestled on Xplosion from what I heard.

One and Only 6/4/03 TNA Thread

I see Raven vs Jarrett at the anniversary show. Fans want it and hopefully TNA won't be stupid and not give them what they want. If they wanna further the Triple J angle, just have Truth be added to the mix saying ever since JJ's win over him for the title, he has been dropped to midcard. Let's hope that now he's out of the tourney, he can focus on the heavyweight scene.
  22. According to PWTorch... Sources say the finish of Raw's main event tonight was supposed to be Hurricane getting pinned at the time the match ended. It was just a case of veteran official Earl Hebner forgetting for a brief moment that that was supposed to be the finish. He was expecting a kick out, and when it didn't come, he did the ol' stop the count and indicate that the shoulder was off the mat routine. Then he realized that was actually supposed to be a three count and got up and called for the bell. WWE officials were disappointed that it happened, but forgiving for the human error on Hebner's part. -------------------------------------------------------- I think 411 just worded it wrong.
  23. Bill Watt's name isn't ERIC! I'm scared of where the belt should go according to Jarrett. I'm ok with it if it's Styles or Lynn, but push them first. I'd rather see a Red push than a Credible one.

    Matches for 6/4 show

The 6 man looks good but I want my London/Sabin already. Guess I'll wait til London's back from Japan. Good news about the Asylum matches...it's almost over.
  25. Astro101

    Various....

I like his infrequent title defenses for the fact that you don't know who's gonna win. For instance, Styles and Raven's matches with him. He doesn't have matches where you can really say, oh Jarrett's gonna win...it's unpredictable. But I do think he should wrestle more, whether it be in tag matches or non-title matches. One thing I'd like to see more is X Division matches. Like, 2 matches at least a night.
