Does he mention anything about his new role in TNA?
-
Well, the follow up from 1wrestling... "As a follow-up to Jeremy Borash's "From The Inside" column where he says it was doubtful former WCW broadcaster Tony Schiavone would be back on NWA:TNA, it should be noted that Schiavone still is employed by WSB Radio in Atlanta. He was the studio host for the Atlanta Hawks radio network last night. "
-
That's what I love about Don too. He's basically a fan at the announce table, marking and screaming out for crazy moves along with you at home. The Tenay/Schiavone exchange was good..."Here's the man that I was responsible for having to pick up and drive to the arenas in WCW, Mike Tenay. " That had me laughing.

I'm wondering about AMW's "botched move". I dunno what that's supposed to do. I don't even know if it's a botched move since they don't do it properly everytime (aren't they supposed to wrap the feet around theirs?) and I think if it is, after weeks now they should've corrected it by now. I didn't think their match with RnR was bad. It was actually decent to good. But that's just me. Maybe I just had low expectations to begin with. Shiavone was hilarious in that getup. And what was up with Sanders? I was waiting for HEY throughout that whole match.

Siaki should not be X division talent. He doesn't have the style. I'm ok with him moving on to the heavyweight division, though. I thought Tenay and Shiavone did a good job out there, very heated and everything although I could see how it would be boring to some other fans. RnR Express surprised me...gave a pretty nice match. And Truth/Lynn...I see good stuff of this feud. The show was not up to par to some shows in the past, it was ok.

Well, in my case, I don't know the old timers either. But in the way TNA presents the storylines nad everything, I'm open to the idea of seeing some "new" old faces.
-
I was just thinking the same thing, if someone else told the story. Would there be any legal problems with that?
-
TNA is only shown in Australia once a month? Hope they get a deal to show it weekly soon for their sake.
-
I sure hope they really build Jarrett/Raven. Why Red/Estrada though? They're both faces.
-
I've been thinking the same thing about what you said about SEX and how I hope it has a great payoff and another good angle going. If the rumors about Disco coming back are true, then I expect him tomorrow for SEX.
-
For some reason, I didn't notice the HEY before...guess I was busy flipping the channels. But I saw the replay last night and it was frickin' hilarious. I was yelling HEEEY along with Sanders. He has this command...
-
I think he said on his site that he can do a one-legged figure four!
-
Yea, lol, I dunno if it's wrong to laugh, but I am. Hope he gives a good showing. How is anyone gonna spinebuster this guy!
-
Didn't Konan beat down David Young for two weeks now? I can't remember last week's. If so, there's a feud right there.
-
They have the syndication deal already and are trying to expand it to more markets. It's called Xplosion. If they keep things fresh and focus on the in ring talent I don't see how they can fail....well, unless no one buys the PPV.
-
NOOOOOOOOO!!! I think he may be that "talent coordinator" (was that the term used this week?) which I hope means "no wrestling".
-
Yea, I'd rather see Larry Z in the role besides Hennig. At least with Z, we don't have to hear how he took down Lesnar 35,000 feet in the air.
-
Love the fact that almost everyone in the company has a storyline to work with within the SEX/TNA one. Flair with his burlap sack, Nikita-SEX or no, SEX trying to recruit Styles, Truth possibly talking to Sanders, the women fighting, Armstrong vs BG James...it's good stuff.
-
Even though I never lived through that era, I can appreciate the foundation that some of the greats laid for wrestling today. I enjoy seeing some of these ol' guys to make the NWA seem more historic and important.
-
Yes, I'm looking forward to Kash and Siaki. Kash and Trinity really do make a good couple. I can't make an opinion on the whole show as I only watched the second half and am going to catch the replay in 30 minutes. But the tag match was good but I wish they coulda feuded with AMW a bit more.
-
HAHA! I LOVE MARKING OUT! I thought TNA would get him, but this fast??? And they will do what WWE couldn't...give him a role.
-
It didn't bother me at all. Probably because I'm agnostic and all, but this type of edge is cool. The Vick edge was not.
-
Great preview as always, bps. I agree with Tony saying that wCw was more of a prototype for this stuff. And seriously, who really saw wCw 2000 to say that SEX is just a ripoff. I like the angle, and I like the legends who show up for the show. It's not predictable or boring and BG James and the Harris Bros. haven't wrestled in weeks! And I hope they don't start now.
-
Maybe he'll be the 42nd member of SEX on TNA.

Were those news reports in the vingettes real or not? Does anyone know?
