Yeah few things in sports make me as happy as watching Italy or Argentina get their ass kicked in soccer

Game 1 got an 8.7 rating, a big disappointment for ABC I'm guessing Everyone is quick to blame the Spurs, but I have been saying it for awhile the reason NBA Finals ratings have gone way down is because the play-offs are stuck on cable with the new TV deal. When the play-offs were on NBC you got a ton of games on the network and thus they could build an audience for the Finals. Now you get 1 or 2 games on ABC a week with a couple of hand picked teams being shown.

I gotta be honest here, I know nothing about Narnia beyond that cartoon that came out in the early 80s. Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe was basically REQUIRED reading for all children in my generation. Seriously, if you were an early 80's kid and didn't read LW&W, you didn't have a complete childhood. Edit: Hell, for the longest time, I had no idea that LW&W was part of a series. Almost everyone I knew read that book, and just that book from the series. Same experience here. I had no idea it was part of a series until the movie came out

ABC already had WNBA games scheduled for Saturday afternoon. So instead of San Antonio/New Orleans Game 7, you can watch the Liberty and the Shock or whatever. That has nothing to do with it It has to do with the ABC and TNT splitting the coverage and the NBA trying to be fair. If both Eastern Conference series went seven both games would have been on Sunday on ABC just like both series in the West would have ended on Monday on TNT if the Jazz would have won yesterday. That way no team gets an advantage going in if they all went the distance

Not only that but Fulham might get a UEFA Cup spot for Fair Play after Man City got a red card in the last game
