The OAO Nightmare on Elm Street thread

Well, anyways, I'm now playing around in the maze, and I have collected 3 items:A remote control, a key to the Freddy Merchendise room, and the key to the boiler room. What I wanna know is, what else do I have to do or collect in the maze on the bonus DVD? I'm kinda lost a bit, here.

    Carrie

I remember seeing the infamous last scenes of this horror movie, and the one scene that stuck out in my mind was the closing scene after Carrie got killed when her house got burned to the ground, and you can see Carrie's grave had some graffitti on it, and this little girl came in with some flowers for the departed Carrie, and the very minute she laid down those flowers, the hand of Carrie popped out of the ground, and grabbed her arm. The girl woke up screaming like crazy, and when you saw that, you knew that it would be a long time before she ever got any sleep, ever again. But, my question is, what was the whole story plot behind the movie, "Carrie"?

June Pointer of the Pointer Sisters

Pointer Sisters were probably one of the greatest female recording artists of all time. "Jump" (For My Love) was one of my personal favorites, as well.
  4. My favorite match was The Enforcer against Lord Steven Regal at WCW Superbrawl 4 in 1994. I even have that match on my computer's media center. A great Double A match from the pre-Hogan era in WCW. Your favorite?

    WWF in 2000...

2000 was pretty damn good, until the very minute that Stephanie McMahon was handed the book.

    Favorite Arn Anderson match

I also loved Arn vs. Flair. But, let's not forget about the cage match that they had on Nitro, shortly afterwards.

    Early Raw Preview

Since I live in Arizona, and on Mountain Time, were Edge & Lita on RAW, tonight? Was there any sort of major hype for the Hardcore Match at Wrestlemania?
  8. I got Sonic Adventure as one of my Christmas presents, back in 2004, along with the Gamecube. I won half of the game by playing Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles, consecutively, and the thing is that when you win a game in Sonic Adventure, you can play that character again, and you can basically do whatever you want from that point on. You start back in the city of Station Square, and you can go wherever you want, and do what you want, and what not. There's nothing else to gain, really, execpt it kinda shows life after the adventure is over. My favorite place to go after winning the game is Robotnik's Egg Carrier, because you get to inside the thing, and go into Robotnik's main sector, and run around while the robots run around, and NOT to do a damn thing to you. Kinda neat, isn't it?
  9. Forgive me if this was already brought up. But, what does everyone think of Jerry Lawler's face turn in the annouce booth. I know a lot of people don't really care, but I kinda think that it's a bit of a refreashing change to Lawler, who has been a full-time heel announcer on RAW for years.

Should WWE do another Draft this year?

The Draft Lottery was deemed meaningless the minute HHH refused to stay on SmackDown!

    ENRON

Has anyone here gotten this documentary film on Enron? I bought it today for $20.00, and it was pretty good. It gave me a much closer look at the Enron scandal.

    Mario Bros.

How many people here have/had this game in the past, and played it? I had it once, until I sold my old Nintendo system. This was the original game where Luigi made his video game debut. Anyone remember this?

    ENRON

Yes sir. Absolutely. This film completely exposes ENRON for what it truely was. A corrupt organization totally drunk with greed & power.
  15. Here we go....... After floundering in WCW in his first year with the company, and after much convincing to leave WCW from his brother, Owen, Bret had finally had enough, and managed to finally get out of his multi-million dollor contract with WCW, mend his differences with Vince McMahon, and resign with the WWF in January of 1999. WCW Monday Nitro New WCW President, Ric Flair arrived at Nitro with his family, The Horsemen, and the WCW United States Title that DID belong to Bret "Hitman" Hart. Gene Okerlund interviewed Flair, and The President stated that Bret Hart had forfeited the U.S. Title to the WCW offices, and has left the company in a disgruntled state because he never got a World Title shot. He then declared the title vacant, and the belt would be decided in a match between Horsemen member, Chris Benoit and Booker T. ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________ Fast Forward to the Royal Rumble and the WWF. In the aftermath of Bret's departure from WCW, many Internet rumors began circulating that Bret Hart was thinking about returning to the WWF. At the Royal Rumble, all the speculation came to an end. The Austin/McMahon feud was at it's boiling point, and at the Royal Rumble, Stone Cold Steve Austin was finally getting his measure of revenge on Vince McMahon, and was on his way to winning the Rumble. However, Vince, thanks to "his" WWF Champion, The Rock, managed to dump Austin over the top rope, and win the Rumble match. Vince McMahon celebrated his controversial victory with his son, Shane, and his associates, Patterson & Brisco. However, that celebration would be cut short. As McMahon and company celebrated in the ring, the fans started rioting amongst themselves as the cameras focused on Vince & co. What they didn't pick up was that someone had jumped the barrier. That someone was Bret "The Hitman" Hart. As Bret jumped the barrier, and dove into the ring, the crowd went into a frenzy, and blew the roof off The Aneheim Pond. Vince continued to gloat, but Shane and the stooges were trying to warn him of who was standing behind him. A pissed off Hitman knocked out Shane, Patterson, & Brisco. Finally, Vince turned around to see a ghost from his past that had returned to the WWF to haunt him. Bret floored Vince with a right hand, and put him in the sharpshooter, and held him there until the corperation, led by The Rock attacked him. Suddenly, Stone Cold Steve Austin returned to clear the ring with a steel chair. The Corperation pulled Vince out of the ring, as Bret stared down his one-time arch rival, The Rattlesnake. They both stared at The Corperation as they left. But, Vince McMahon was still in a state of shock that Bret Hart was back in the WWF. As the PPV came to a close, the question was, what will happen next? To be continued......................

Bret Hart To Be Inducted In 2006 HOF

I think I'll go out on a limb, and say that Trish Stratus should induct Bret. I dunno why, I just has a thought.

    News from Meltzer

I found this on another board. Meltzer on the LAW: They did a "fake crowd shot" when Cena won because they were afraid of showing the real crowd since they were booing Cena. WWE doesn't want Edge to be a strong heel because then he's a threat to HHH. Rey vs. Angle isn't happening, it's Orton vs. Angle. At least that's the plan. Boogeyman winning is a sign of the '80s cartoon gimmick coming back. There's going to be a bunch of new gimmicks, including a 50's style gimmick for Deuce Domino, a roller-skating waitress, a "Fidel Castro" gimmick, and a "Brother Love incarnate" gimmick. Also adding this: "Edge was said to be very upset backstage at the Royal Rumble when he found out he would be dropping the WWE Title back to John Cena. Upset in the sense of being distraught, not angry. Edge was said to be in such bad shape over it that Vince McMahon pulled Edge into his office privately to assure him that they weren't going to give up on him. Edge was upset that his lifelong dream lasted only 3 weeks."

    02/06/2006 Raw Rating Stays Strong

When Edge was WWE Champion, he managed to pull in high ratings. After the title reign ended, I personally thought all the RAW fans would get sick and tired of WWE. But, then again, maybe it's the tournement. Meh.... Tournements=ratings.

    News from Meltzer

Credit: PWInsider, Wrestling Observer -- There are some people backstage who are upset at Triple H because he was pushing for Edge to lose the title to Cena at Royal Rumble to line himself up for a title match with Cena at WrestleMania. Many people thought that Edge was doing very well as champion and had managed to get himself over with the fans.

    WWE announces 2006 DVDs

I am so getting that Brian Pillman DVD. I'd personally like to hear what guys like HHH & HBK would have to say about Pillman. Like maybe if he had survived his health situation, and survived, maybe he could've been able to work with Hunter. Or, then again, maybe not. But, I'm still getting that Pillman DVD, and I can't wait to see how he's remembered.
