  3. Here's an old one........

During the in-ring intros of the WWWF Championship match between then-champion, Ivan Kolloff vs. Pedro Morales, Morales was introduced as the "U.S. American Champion". He had the title around his waist for the intro, so he was definately the reigning champ. But, what was the whole story concerning that title? Was it a WWWF-sanctioned title, or was it an NWA-sanctioned title?

This question comes from the first listed match of the WWE Championship history DVD from a few years ago.

  4. I certainly believe that Wii people should add the 4 titles that had just mentioned, at least. I don't see why they wouldn't add the "Golf" game that had put out, many years ago. I mean, I'm sure that Nintendo owns it and wouldn't have to worry about copyright issues, since the 2 golf characters pretty much resemble Mario. I'm also still surprised that they hadn't added the Skate or Die trilogy to the VC, as well.

  5. How could we forget Mongo?

I think I tried to block him out. Man, he simply could not wrestler. Killed me watching him flash the Horsemen sign.

Me too, so I feel your pain.

For me, my all-time favorite will always be......

    Ric Flair

    Arn Anderson

    Brian Pillman

    Chris Benoit

My favorite from the 80's was........

    Ric Flair

    Tully Blanchard

    Arn Anderson

    Lex Luger

With JJ Dillon managing the helm, it was awesome.

  6. Did anyone here notice the after 19 years continuity in the Cody/Dibiase segment, tonight? When Ted, Sr. began running down Dusty Rhodes, I immediately thought back to 1990 where Dibiase feuded with Dusty after SummerSlam 1990, where Dibiase bought off Sapphire (RIP) just to piss off Dusty, and later on, Dustin was brought in, and Virgil turned face.

Ahhh, the WWF glory years. How I miss those days.

  7. All I can say is, I hope that with all the money she made while working for Vince McMahon, I hope she saves each and every penny, because I'm sure that was the whole purpose of Vickie having a job with WWE. I mean, we all remember that when Eddie died at age 38, a little over 3 years ago, there had been reports of Vickie's family going bankrupt, and that they were well on the verge of losing everything. I just hope Vickie and her 3 daughters will be able to live the rest of their lives financially secure. It was bad enough when she lost her husband, and their 3 daughters lost their father. But, when they were on the verge of losing everything, that's when Vickie made the only decision that she could ever make, and that's work for Vince, until her family is secure.

  8. Chavo has been such a jobber for so long tho I don't think anyone would buy him as a threat plus he doesn't really fit the mold already carved out by the other members of Legacy

And that's sad. That's just very sad. They could've done so much better with Chavo, and I guees Vince doesn't really appreciate the man's talent, so he had to make Chavo look stupid.

  9. Well, I've managed to snag a pre-order of the Ghostbusters game for PS3 from NewEgg.com, and it's coming to my house in the mail right after it's released into the stores.

"Come on, let's run some red lights!"

  10. My sister and myself were finishing up our junior year of High School in that point in time of 1999. I chose not to buy that PPV to save money. The next morning on monday, it was time for me to get up for school. As I was getting dressed, my mother called me into her room where she was watching the morning news, and she told me that Owen Hart had been killed at the PPV the night before, and I couldn't believe it, until she told me how it happened. I then saw the news report about Owen's death, and I felt my heart sink. Before this tragedy even occured, I had been hoping that someday, Owen's brother, Bret would actually return to the WWF, despite the obvious past problems with Vince (Montreal Screwjob), and reunite The Hart Foundation with Owen, Bulldog, & Anvil. When I was told of Owen's death, I knew then that any and all possibilities of that ever happening were immediately shattered, forever.

I'll always miss you, Owen. Godspeed. :(
