Man, I've been losing out on picks all over the place over the last couple days. Great pick, Red is my second-favorite TV dad of all time (my #1 being, well, Gomez Addams).
-
Eh, might as well take my second-favorite Beastie Boy with my last pick. King Ad-Rock
-
Alright, I think Brooklyn Zoo and Darthtiki's time has expired. Cake
-
Fuck. I really thought I could wait until pick fifteen or so on Gogo.
-
I think we should probably start a new thread like the movie draft did and then alert everyone who missed out during the four day lull via PM that they have a make up pick or something.
-
Heh. I doubt I'm drafting from Soul Eater but if I were I'd have another character in mind for that slot. Anyway. Duke Phillips
-
... dammit, Nicholas Angel was one of my next picks. Though since I got King Arthur before you could, DMann, I suppose that's fair.
-
I assume we're skipping Brooklyn Zoo from here on out, right? If so, then I'm going to pick up my favorite straightman character in TV history. Michael Bluth
-
I picked King Arthur like a week ago.
-
Yeah, but that's why I liked her. She was a complete deconstruction of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl character.

Clementine Kruczynski

I kept debating on whether to pick them or not; I love their first two albums, like their middle two well enough, but their most recent two are absolute death. Similarly I have sort of a love/hate relationship with my next pick, but what I love I really, really love. They Might Be Giants My list, man. So hardcore. So hardcore.

"You only think I guessed wrong, that's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha, you fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less well-known is this: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha... [falls over, dead.]" Vizzini

You drafted him during that string where we were accidentally going the wrong way and those picks weren't counted.
-
That is a great, great Muppet to draft.
-
Dammit, there goes my other Office pick after I lost out on Andy earlier. Creed's the best relatively minor character on the show by far.
-
My bad, I didn't get a PM and I didn't notice that it was Antwon who made that pick. Cee-Lo And since I want to draft at least one Seattle hip-hop guy... Geologic

Alright, I think Darthtiki's time's expired. The Cardigans
-
Yeah, 6foot9's got like... twenty minutes and then it's Timmy. Whereas Brooklyn Zoo is knocking on the door of being kicked out of the draft by now, isn't he?

WWE General Discussion - January 2009
Mecha Mummy replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Honestly, by the end of it I sort of wanted Todd Bridges to just try and pursue it as a proper thing. For a guy his age with that little training he looked really agile. -
... oh man, that's an awesome late pick. I only have "PLATINUM DATE" by him but I keep meaning to branch out more into J-Rap.
-
Time for my obligatory Joss pick. Wasn't my first choice, but Jayne's gone and as far as makeup picks go, I think I'm pretty five by five. Faith Lehane ("She's like this cleavage-y slut-bomb walking around going 'Oh, check me out. I'm wicked cool. I'm five by five'." "Five by five? Five what by five what?" "See, that's the thing, no one knows.")

You can't hold a good drafter down
Mecha Mummy replied to Twisted Intestine's topic in Draft Faggotry
Definitely down for a historical figures draft. Also, I'd like to second whoever earlier suggested like an individual figures in music draft as opposed to basing it on genres, which would allow for stuff like jazz, pop, folk classical, etc. as well (I think you'd be risking overextending things by putting any of those into individual drafts themselves, with the exception of maybe jazz assuming you included vocal jazz standards and all that). This is not, coincidentally, because I'm basically treading water until the hip-hop draft hits fifteen and because most of my good picks in the rock draft are gone. No, not at all. ... sob. -
Shocked it took 9 rounds for Stringer to go.
