Oh. THAT Bubba.
-
... Who? Is this another Big Bossman comeback?
-
The sad thing is that Horshu already used that one.
-
Bah. They're house shows. Let him do the goddamn dance.
-
... Hello, weird mental image. How do you do?
-
Nope, because it's pretty popular. For something to be the worst, it has to be bad and unover. No, it just has to be a the worst catchphrase in the company. By your logic, "What?" is the best ever. Hey, I didn't say it was the best, but it being popular saves it from being the worst. Something like "CBL" would be the worse because it was bad and never caught on. It's not being currently used. Well, that probably has something to do with Christian being injured, no? When he comes back the stupid CLB name will probably come back too. I'd say it's current enough to count.

Heenan, but Ventura, Johnny Polo, and Excalibur all get honorable mentions.
-
Thank the gods.

The only time I ever enjoyed Al Wilson was when he showed up on Thanksgiving during YET ANOTHER holiday T & A segment dressed as a turkey and The Cat mocked him ceaselessly because of it. Oh, and I loved Eric Bischoff in the wedding angle too. That was the best usage of the "Did I just say THREE MINUTES...?" line ever.

I'm gonna get Astonishing X-Men and that's it.
-
And that's more or less what the Diva Search girls are capable of (except for Carmella, whose head would explode at the thought of showing enthusiasm). It's nice of her to try and show a little bit of knowledge about wrestling. Doesn't make me hate the Diva Search any less, but it's nice anyway.
-
Marty, they tried that on the PPV and it was terrible.
-
... Okay, you know what, I really want to see these shows just because they look so damn insane. Where'd you get the tapes?
-
Other: I'm not certain who, but one of the following; Raven, Spanky, CIMA, Magnum TOKYO, Milano Collection AT, Mr. Perfect, and La Parka.

Penn State University offers Pro Wrestling class.

Of all the books to use, the guy picks THAT one? There are SO many books that would serve as better material than that shit. -
Jarrett vs. Hardy in a Ladder match is a good idea, but I kind of think they're going to see if lightning can strike twice and book Jarrett vs. Raven.
-
Have you ever actually heard Peroxwhygen? From the song I've heard of theirs they're beyond awful.
-
Could you elaborate, please? I'd say the Dragon Gate guys are doing fine. Or are you referring to the students post-DG/Toryumon split?
-
I wonder what standards "really good match" is by here. Because a really good Impact match means that it's lasted more than four minutes. I'm slightly appalled that it seems the more recognizable and important a wrestler is, the worse they get squashed by Triple J. Jeff Jarrett vs. Pat Kenney lasts ONE MINUTE? Jesus Christ. I have major doubts regarding the show, but on paper this looks like it COULD be good. At the very least I'm interested in seeing the main event and the AMW vs. Abyss/Shelley match.

Piper doesn't have it that bad. I think it's his mind that's deteriorated, not so much his looks. I'd say Buddy Rose but he's never really been a looker.
-
Demeans them? The New Three Musketeers outside of MAYBE Nakamura were all very clearly elevated by this tournament, ESPECIALLY Shibata.
-
Wolverine in another book? *Retch.*
-
Yeahhhhhh, no. Does TNA honestly think they can charge anywhere near what WWE's charging?
-
All my favorite announcers have been said before, but my least favorite of all time hasn't; Mongo. My god was he atrocious.
-
No, once again, this appears to suck. I'm done with this show. It's not important, it's a 3rd rate Heat. I didn't say it looked overly great. I said it looked like the best Impact in weeks. And the last three weeks, if not more, have been nothing but four squash matches and then one main event that maybe lasts seven minutes. Two matches featuring established TNA names facing each other on the show itself is a godsend compared to that.
