I totally forgot two of the most ridiculously pathetic villains in Square history, so I, Gosunkugi, agent to the jobbers to the stars, also nominate these two... Solt (Chrono Cross) Peppor (Chrono Cross)

R.C. Haas is the man. The Haas of Pain is so damn awesome. I'm a Haashole and proud.

Hold up hold up. They're bringing MARIA back? Grrrreaaaaaat. The lamest character from GTA3 and SHE is being used again? Blaugh.

More On TNA Telling Wrestlers Not To Work For ROH
Mecha Mummy replied to BoboBrazil's topic in TNA Wrestling
... WTF? Now there's pretty much no good reason for this. -

Husky Matt.

And after this, they'll make Star Wars Episode VII: "The Force" - The Hands of Fate. Come on, can these names get any lamer?

I vote Bulldogs...

Kenskay easily. Sasaki rules.

Well, it was in Detroit. I'd liken Cena, a guy who does a white rapper gimmick, in Detroit and New England to Eddy in places like Texas and LA. Cena's definitely one of the most over guys in WWE, though, but I'd say he and Eddy are about equal, or Cena's just a little more over than Eddy.

Bah. I have everything up to like nineteen. *Sigh.* It's a good deal, though. Buy, buy, buy, other people!

Jonny Storm has never been impressive in TNA. I liked his match against Fleisch in RoH, though. He's mainly listed because he's the only British person who works the X Division now and then.

Jarrett Victory in Mexico causes riot
Mecha Mummy replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in TNA Wrestling
Yeesh. TNA definitely needs to film an AAA X Cup Defense in Mexico if the crowd was THAT big and THAT vocal. -
No, I don't think it did outside of maybe the credits. The song is "Mr. Blue Sky" by Electric Light Orchestra. (I just figured that out yesterday myself.)
-
I'm just shocked that Eagan managed to come back and NOT make it blatantly obvious that it was him for 1000 posts before he was detected.

It debuted at # 6 with $8.6 million... it may not, by definition, BOMB... I'm sure the budget wasn't all that high and that it will make up for it, but it's not going to be a blockbuster Then again, it may stay in the top 10 by word of mouth alone (lost in translation) but from what I'm hearing "on the street" it's not a very popular movie... with critics and people with generally good movie taste, yes... but with the average Joe who is going to see it because they expect Ace Ventura, I hear the same "that fucking sucked!" that I heard when Punch Drunk Love came to theaters Yeah, depressingly enough, I heard stuff like that too, except a bit nicer. I almost wanted to scream. My mom, who I went with, liked the movie but didn't comprehend a bunch of it until I explained it all for her.

That SD team would be completely unholy. Cole has NOT improved to the point where he can deal with Lawler and Heel Coach at the same time. Cole, SNOW, and Lawler would end up better. And yeah, the problem with Josh is that he's can't get you into a match, but shit, he's been announcing for what, a year and a half now? That's why he should still be on b-shows working with better announcers than fuckin' BILL DEMOTT ("See, he hit that guy with the frog splash there. And that's the turning point.") so that he can learn and improve. Also, Tazz and Josh just make a funny b-show team. And as for JR, as cliche-spewing as he is, he's still good at calling big matches and might be good if working with someone who isn't Lawler or Coach.
-
Ace probably won't get a callback since he was pretty bad in his TNA stints, sadly. Roderick and Rave would probably get contract offers, though.
-
No, no. A movie with Freddie Jr. will crush Dawn, Jesus, Kevin Smith, AND Tom Hanks. THAT is what's funny and sad at the same time.
-
... Does this mean Noble will still be bringing the overrated in any cruiser match under eight minutes? Well, shit.
-
RAW: JR and Tazz Smackdown: Michael Cole and Al Snow Heat: Tazz and Josh Velocity: Cole and Theodore Long Of course, that'll never happen, but if it did it would rule.
-
Saw it. Loved it. DH's review of it convinced me to go despite my being sick and it was completely worth it. And, to MDH (invisotext on)... I think that's part of it. But also I think Patrick completely emulating Joel and stealing everything he said triggered something in her subconscious. Or something. That's the one part I'm not entirely sure of yet and am trying to figure out. (Yeesh, whatever happened to spoiler tags?)

I Love the 90's? Eeeergh. Too soon. EDIT: Uhm... Yeah. What Y2Jerk said. (And YJ-2 = Of the unfunny.)

Actually, I believe Heenan made mention of Hercules' passing too somewhere, so Bret isn't the only person to make mention of it.
