Mark Henry did it better, even if it was only for like one show. He was on commentary, and he told the announcer that he had just flown in from Milan. The announcer couldn't understand it for some reason, so Henry was "What, did you think I said 'My Lawn'"? Was that in '99 when Jarrett gave Henry the Euro championship? Because the best thing Henry said with that was definitely his pre-match promo before his match against D'Lo at Unforgiven when he said he couldn't wrestle because he had a "brainurism or something."

I have the Rumble DVD itself. It's a great show...well, except *that* Miss Rumble contest ending... Oh god. OH GOD. THE EVIL. THE EVIL. *Collapses into a ball and cries.*
-
Yeah... If memory serves Lance was the only member of Team Canada who was actually Canadian. That was totally the best angle of Russo's WCW booking run. Well, that or Positively Kanyon.

Status of developmental wrestler Chris Mordetzsky?
Mecha Mummy replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in The WWE Folder
How do you know he'd be like that? Have you seen him work? I haven't so I can't make that judgement... And I've seen no evidence of his existence in OVW recently. -
Okay, my ten are... Spanky CM Punk CIMA Magnum TOKYO Milano Collection AT Raven Ultimo Dragon Nunzio Chris Daniels American Dragon This is pretty much a foregone conclusion for Eddy or possibly Angle, though.
-
I've heard good things about NOSAWA but his TNA matches have fucking sucked. All he did were kicks and I believe a German suplex.
-
I'd like to see Rene Dupree be reinvented, sort of drop some of the "I'm French, I'm Evil" stuff and just become a straight-up obnoxious heel. The Dupree Dance has to be one of the best singature taunts in recent memory.

I'd be interested in getting both of those DVDs. Yay for WWE's good DVDs these days.
-
But the point isn't what they did BEFORE going into WWE, because Choken clearly referred to both Raven AND D'Lo, and besides, anyone who is released by WWE is immediately branded a WWE Reject no matter what they did before going to WWE/WWF.
-
Okay. So I suppose they should have never brought Jerry Lynn in, you know, since he's a WWE Reject. And they should have never brought Raven in because he's a WWE Reject. Or Truth. Or D'Lo. Or, inevitably, Spanky. You DO have a point. TNA has made some stupid decisions in terms of bringing ex-WWE people in. Jamal should have never been brought in, Saturn was questionable (though I've heard good things about his match against Barton), as was Justin Credible. But so many "WWE rejects" you ceaselessly bitch about HAVE contributed to TNA and been entertaining. If everyone thought the way you do, Steve Austin, Mick Foley, and Chris Jericho would have never come to WWF. So I suppose if someone like Lance Storm, Tajiri, Ultimo, or London gets cut tomorrow and someone suggests that they might come (or in London's case, return) to TNA, you'd complain about that?

I could enjoy Simmons in a manager/enforcer role for Truth, assuming Killings ditches the dead weight known as Konnan and BG James and takes on a more serious gimmick.
-
Well, does he actually have a WWE development contract or is he just working OVW regularly?
-
Novoselic was considering running for Governor of Washington but decided against it, IIRC.
-
Why the hell do people take the Torch seriously? Jeez.

I liked George's VOICE last night, but I wasn't feeling his performance, per se. "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" never really felt like a smiling happy happy happy song to me. I liked Dean last night, Fantasia was also damn good, and whatsherface, LaToya?, was really good. Hopefully next week John will have a genre he can do more with.

Crappy movies, I believe. Correction: Crappy Movies and "Monk."

You win. Bar none. Not even the LFO song is this bad. Madonna, just fucking RETIRE. No more music from you. EVER.
-
No, she's pretty much lost her psychoness. Hell, she doesn't even come out with Stevie anymore.
-
It's an okay way to END the show now and then and a god way to send the live crowd home post-taping, but not at the expense of guys like Rene Dupree (hey, remember when Foley and Rock, oh, PUT HIM OVER a bit?), and not in the middle of the show when there's still matches or angles in the ring to go down. Austin is currently my least liked person in the WWE, because even Triple H puts people over sometimes, but Austin never, EVER sells for or puts over ANY new talent. It's fucking despicable.
-
Yeah, so was I. Guess MSG really likes The Hammer. Even though he and HHH look VERY similar At Hooters Valentine got a big pop too, but since he's from Seattle that might be why.
-
Well, Ultimo hit his spots properly, at least. He still looked better in there after the slips than Noble did.

Michael Jackson wanted to star in a movie
Mecha Mummy replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
Wow. Just... wow... -
I didn't cry. I just sort of stood there in stunned silence, and then marked out and started a Bneoit chant in the Hooters I was at. Fun moment.
-
Well, it's almost like a Toryumon continuity dealie. Shannon Moore cannot beat Ultimo Dragon. But GOD did it seem like the crowd died when Ultimo tapped.
-
Um, when have I NOT heard about the Ultimo slipping stuff? That's like a running gag practically, I'm not seeing the "OMG SMARK DOUBLE STANDARD" here.
