Raven wouldn't be considered for the "stayed a heel" role in WWE either. Waaaaaaay back when he was still commentating for Heat (I miss those days, dammit!) he was getting some face pops. Surprising huh? Stevie Richards () challenged him to an impromptu match, and Raven was the face in the match. Plus, Raven had something happen to him during that match...I can't remember exactly what it was, but his mouth was bloody after the match. (Braids...fancy coats...hell, even the kilt was acceptable. Short hair? Nooooo!!!!)
-
Now that you mention it...he does sorta-kinda-maybe look like Brendan.

Oh, let's praise the heavens! A-Train, and all his hairy fetishes, will be back on our TVs soon! Oh thank GOD! I was getting soooooo worried! The WWE...yup, they know the fans just WANT to see A-Train on SD and Matt on Velocity. So glad the WWE knows what the "fans" want!

The One And Only RAW X Anniversary Special Thread
Yuna_Firerose replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
The show wasn't that bad....not good either. Somewhere in between "okay" and "ehh..whatever". Seeing Brock and RVD in classy suits, and acting like their normal selves (Brock's happy dance and RVD's thumb point) was....interesting. All the video packages made the show worth it, and they'll make great additions to my documents tape. What was sad was seeing Matt, Hurricane....for no reason at all. They were invited, which was a good thing, but what was the point of them being there? Matt should have at LEAST presented an award...or hell, he AND the Hurricane could of presented. Would have been more entertaining than Book-Dust. Tazz and Cole....that was entertaining. Cole: "And this is the award for...*hesitates* Shut up and kiss me". Tazz's reaction was funny. Plus, Cole in a "dorky-classy-biker look" was... Perhaps I'm the only gal here that would rather stare at Cole in that outfit, than HHH in his skivvies on Raw. *shrug* -
Yay, I'm not the only one!

Mad TV by default for me, since I've only seen a few episodes of SNL, and none of the rest. Besides, what can beat Stuart? Or Ms. Swan?
-
Yeah, and you notice that neither of the guys did a single bench press? I'd rather have seen that than the strip show we got. Oh, but how dare I say such a thing? We all KNOW that seeing those two pose and strip each other will grab ratings! And if it doesn't....hey, then it's all Coach's fault, bah gawd! On a side note, am I the only one who thinks Steiner sounds like Randy Savage?
-
I don't feel stupid at all, actually. In fact, the last few weeks of Heat have been better, in terms of matches, than the Raw itself. Now how pathetic is that for WWE?
-
What's so wrong with a tuxedo match? Well, maybe it's not suited for the world title, but still.... Hey, if the guys can have their many diva "matches", why can't the gals have their tuxedo matches? And for the record, if I ever see Triple H in that state of undress again, it'll be too soon. Seriously, I don't see what everyone sees in guys like Steiner and HHH.

Heat Tapings The following report was written by Calvin Martin of Lordsofpain.net: DARK MATCHES Sean O'Haire d. Brian Henderson ? unknown ? d. Mike Krohl SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT Royal Rumble is this Sunday so these are international only. (airdate January 19) Rico d. Tommy Dreamer via rollup with his feet on the ropes and/or pulling the tights. Jamal w/ Rosie d. Johnny Stamboli via top rope splash. Spike Dudley d. Christian via DQ when Christian would not let go of a choke in the corner. After the match Spike delivers the dudley dog. Why in the f'n hell was Christian on Heat and not non Raw????? Oh, wait.. because everyone wanted to see HHH get stripped. Wow....that was exciting.

Raven didn't look gay, just.............different. Actually, am I the only one who noticed how pissed off or how bored he looked?
-
I didn't catch all of the promo, but from what everyone is saying, I can pretty much figure out what was said. My thought is.....what if it has something to do with Raven's masterpiece? After all, I don't think Raven used "lust"....and I mean that in the least slashy way possible.
-
I didn't think many people would. Still, the smarks were wondering where Christian was, so I figured I'd share.

Hurricane and Stevie actually work really well together, at least that's what I saw the last two matches they had. Seeee, it pays to watch Heat, folks! I know they had a match on a regular Heat, and one on a PPV. Hold on, let me get out my handy dandy notebook.... Okay, their first match was on the Heat that Lita was announced as the new commentator. If I'm not mistaken, Stevie won that. Their second match was the Heat right before No Mercy. And if Stevie won the first, that means Hurricane won the second.....or vice versa.
-
Exactly my point. Perhaps I should've said... "lack of promos with a purpose...as in, promos that had something to do with the matches" Still, I got to see Stevie and Victoria twice, so that's a good note.
-
What annoyed me most abuot this Raw is the lack of backstage segments/promos. Without that, all the matches were fillers. Hurricane and Trish could be a great team, and they could put on some entertaining promos...if only given the chance! Horny Hurricane (in a comedic way) = Ratings

*Goldmember mode on* Yesh yesh, but gold is very sexy! You sit down with a schoke and a pancake and rub it on your netherlands...yesh, the netherlands! *spray* *Goldmember mode off* I have no recollection of what I just said. Okay, correction... Stevie//Victoria will bring happiness to me...don't know about anyone else.
-
Honestly, I couldn't really notice. At least he's not as bad as the Raw main-eventers...Need I mention names? Nah...didn't think so.
-
I would say something.....but, hey, that says it all.

I shall now answer all your questions with a single question... WHO THE FUCK CARES?! But, then again, I don't have a religion, so my opinin probably won't count for much.
-
Okay, well I tried. *quickly makes her exit*

I would make a comment about HHH....but I don't want the thread to turn slashy, soooo, I'll just hush up about that one. Ah, but don't you remember? WWE tagged them together on Heat once! Don't you know that's their "history"? Also, Stevie had a short feud with Test (or is still going?) and Raven was shown on Raw once staring after Stacy and Test...or maybe just Stacy. Sure, it was probably part of the Masterpiece...but I don't think that's the only reason they chose Test and Stacy for that segment.

Hell, even Kotz would have a hard time recapping that. Still, this is a week they're summing up in about a half hour, so it's all edited and cut together. So, I'm guessing the "prank" happened before DeMott got that phone call.
