Posted on the QE boards: Link to song: http://www.angelfire.com/blues2/jefftoale/QE_Blues.mp3 His site isn't that great [he's not real tech savvy, obviously] but the song is....cute. Not great, but cute.

As soon as I saw a million PotC icons popping up on my LJ friend's list, I knew it was a movie to avoid. Why? Because I have enough fandoms going on as it is. But, my class saw it, soo..I saw it. Not only did the movie amaze, but so did Depp and the CG-quality of the skeleton pirates. Of course, I can see why there are so many fangirls of it; the slash-quality between Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner is simply outrageous. My Film Surprise of '03 would be Willard. I haven't even heard of it till I saw it my sister's. They found it 'psycho' and 'boring', but I personally very much enjoyed it. The trailer on the DVD is really cool to watch. And Ben is simply evil. He mustn't have been kissed on the nose much That saying....the 'Ben' music video by Crispin Glover is just plain weird. It's on the DVD for anyone who wans to see it.

Different styles of action/superhero movies for different people, I suppose. Personally, I'm just the opposite; X2 over Hulk. I can't comment on Daredevil, though; haven't seen it. Is it good, in your opinion?
-
My thoughts exactly. My family tried watching it, but it simply seemed to drag on and on and on. They were bored by it, as was I. Whereas, in X2, the first five minutes just grab your attention like nothing else. Sure, one can argue that it's just as much CG as the Hulk itself [and they'd prolly be right], but X2 is still, in my opinion, a much better film than Hulk. Reasons: --I actually care about the characters. Wasn't too crazy about Wolverine this time around, but that's simply because I find Nightcrawler to be much more interesting [and not just because it's played to Awesome Perfection by Alan Cumming]. --Each character is interesting in their own right. The rivalry between Pyro and Bobby is like Xavier's and Magneto's, only a younger generation...plus a non-touchable love interest. --The differing views between Magneto, Xavier, and Stryker are extremely interesting, and are really the backbones of the movie. There's plenty more, but I've probably babbled on enough

Did you start the one of the Campaigns in Ch.1? So far, I haven't found out what campaigning for one company over the other will do, but in Ch.1, I had the Gamepro faq to help me out.

Brian Cox as William Stryker in X2 Ben in Willard [just look at those eyes! He's definetly plotting something evil.]

Judge Allows Source To Distribute Parts Of Racist

Yeah we need some fantasy celebrity slash roleplay songs. They would go down a storm. Whatever. Those would suck too. Different styles of songs for different people, I suppose. Personally, I'm more into the pop/techno genre. -

You say this... Yet you posted THIS eariler? Hypocrite. As for the whole "racist" comedians(or artists for that matter) bit, like stated before, they talk about what they know. And honestly, if you can't add something that's, y'know, RELEVANT other than, "Durrrrr... Ah hatez rapperz!!!", then kindly do us all a favor and shut up. Ranting is fun. -

I got a Pro Gamer's Kit with a lot of cool accesories for GBA SP. The thing is, I might not be getting the GBA SP. Still, the Kit is cool. -
...Why do movie posters almost always have the text matched up with the actor/actress? Rosario Dawson is lookin' a bit too masculine.

Judge Allows Source To Distribute Parts Of Racist
Yuna_Firerose replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Music
Whatever. They're my opinions and I stick by them. No. I never said I hated blacks to begin with. Disgusted and annoyed by the rap culture, yes, but not by every black person. My computer teacher is black; I think he's cool. They don't have to ask. Almost every black rap song I've heard is about 'being from the "hood"', having some unjustice done to them, smoking something and/or doing some chick. And a lot of black comedians that I've seen always seem to do the same racial jokes over and over. Ignoring the obvious typos...maybe I am a bit ignorant. I don't listen to any rap crap at all, if I can avoid it anyway. -

Wrong. Again, wrong. Oh, gee, so because he's white, all de-damn-white-folk will protect him? Yeah, right. I don't even like the guy. Besides, those lyrics are tame in comparison to what other rappers, black or white [but mostly black], are saying. -

Oh for fuck sakes, that is just...ugh! Totally annoying, basically. So, basically, a black artist can make a song like 'Smackin' Mah Bitch Up' and WOOHOO! yay! new #1 on the charts! But if a white artist says ONE..BAD..THING about chick it's OMG!RACIST!! I fuckin' hate the black culture. Scratch that, I hate the fuckin' hate the black rap culture. I'm sure there are some nice blacks out there...I just have yet to meet one. It's just so damn annoying. We're supposed to be nice to the current blacks just because their ancestors were slaves. So what? Almost every race was at one point or another a slave another culture. Ugh. What.The.Fuck.Ever. -
Not made by me.

Admit it, you dig the people's strudel. Uhhh.......no.

Of course, they make sure to fit Dwayne's crotch in between the text. The movie doesn't interest me, so I could care less what's on the DVD cover.

I'm not one to say he's the only one with a fucked-up childhood. *shrug* Maybe he's more emotional than what we're normally used to. I'm not saying he's gay; that's not my business, after all. I just compare it to an older sibling sharing a bed with a younger sibling. That's how I view it. While I see nothing wrong with him liking and wanting to be around children, yes I'll admit that perhaps sleeping in the same is going too far. Then again, Michael probably still has the mentality of a child; thus, not able to understand how such a thing could be viewed as wrong in today's society. As for your 'Joe Blow' analogy......that's too vague. It all depends on how 'Joe Blow' is.

Another "sequel" to a Jim Carrey movie....

Ugh...that plot sounds HORRIBLE! Then again, it's Alan as a devil. That's gonna own. Still...the plot's main focus is a goddamned baby?!?!?! How the hell do these movies get made? And..where can I find the trailer? EDIT: I think he did 'Spice World' as a favor to his buddies. I'm not sure if he is, or was, friends with the Spice Girls, but it's just a suggestion. -
Yeah, cause as soon as Jackson steps off the jet he's gonna grab a couple of boys and molest them in the limo on the way to the hotel... Exactly what I'm thinking. Like he's really gonna try anything with these charges against him. My thoughts on the charges are that he's innocent until proven guilty. I simply find it disgusting that our society sexualizes everything. If, say, some well-known, but slightly-out-of-date actress decided to share her bed with her friend's daughters or something, then there probably wouldn't be as much of an outrage. But, since it's a guy, and a famous one, who shares his bed with boys, it's OMGSOEVIL!!!111!!! Despite the fact that it's been well-known that Michael Jackson lost most of his childhood. Personally, I think he's just making up for that now. Like, having sleepovers or whatever. He said somewhere that he and the boys will watch TV, eating cookies and milk or something like that. Strange, yes, but pedophilia? I doubt it.

what special edition dvd do you want to see
Yuna_Firerose replied to slabinskia's topic in Television & Film
Doesn't "i.e." mean "for example"? I think you want "aka" there. Oh and the first two Spy Kids movies aren't all that divergant in quality, in fact, I'd rate the second over the first in a heartbeat. Where would you rank the third one? And the second one was just so goddamned boring! Not because of the lack of Floop; I had known he wasn't in it that much when I started watching the movie. The 'rival' kids were just annoying, and they went waaaaaay beyond the realm of believability. Sure, the first had it's moments, especially with all the gadgets and VR, but the second is just...ugh. The third is by far the worst. The second is better because they didn't care about whether it was realistic or not and just put a lot of adventure and cool effects into it. As well as having Ricardo Monteban, especially in a flying wheelchair. Ricardo > All 3 Spy Kids movies I haven't seen the 3rd, but I'll agree with you. Adventure and cool effects are fun, but there has to be some semblence of realism there. ...No comments on the Depp icons? *pout* -
