I'm totally low on cash, and with X2 coming out next month, I need to make some money. Fast. So...anyone interested? This isn't a joke post. I've sold before on ebay, though honestly, only once. I would sell more on there, but mom has some money to pay on her credit card.

Wait, wait, 'Gazoo' was a cartoon character? I can't say he was bad, since from him came the movie version in Flinstones. Of course, the movie sucked, but at least Mick Jagged and Gazoo were okay Someone pointed in my science class that, if oil was a natural resource, how come it'd hurt Captain Planet? [We have a very goofy 'Enviromental Science' class]... I also nominate Dill and Kimmy. Not that I watch the show or anything. My sister watches it sometimes and I'm in the same room. Ugh...some of those shows are just awful. I always root for Angelica. She's a bitch. She knows it...and enjoys it. And yet, she gets punked out all the time by some snot-nosed brats and a black kid? What's the point in that?! EDIT: From the Evo roster, I nominate Spyke.

From the evil depths of GreatestJournals and Livejournal. The former being free and allowing you 1,000 icons, and the latter being free, but only allowing 3 icons. *le sigh* I haven't been around much since I stopped watching. Which, I"m sure, is a good thing for a lot of people since I tended to annoy 'em.

*shrug* With the new SM coming out next month, I figured there's no point in charging 30 or 40 for it. 'Sides, I need the money.

Ugh. All of those sound like lame movies to begin with, but even so, they'd be much better than the remakes, I'm sure. I mean, all horror in Hollywood is anymore is a bunch of lame "scares", and I use the term loosely, and tons of fake-looking CGI. What's the point of spending all the money on all that technology for the movie when you know from the start that noone's going to see it?

Now that I have a GBA [and hopefully I'll be getting an SP for X-Mas], I was wondering what games are good, in your opinion. Anything good enough to buy, or just rent?

Kids' WB! has released details on the two-part conclusion of the Apocalypse story-arc on X-Men: Evolution . In "Ascension - Part 1," airing October 18, and "Ascension - Part 2," airing October 25, the first of all mutant-kind, Apocalypse enters the final stages of his life-long mission - to wipe out all of humankind. Gaining full mind-control over the four most powerful mutants on Earth, he unveils his horsemen that he has selected to help him complete his destiny. As the line between good and evil is blurred, relationships will be tested and strained to the breaking point as friends, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons are pitted against each other - and every character from the past, good and bad, returns for this culminating face-off...that will decide the fate of all humans and mutants on the planet.

Via trades, I got two more games today: Spy Hunter [i traded "Cuz Stone Cold Said So" VHS for it] and Monster Force [traded "Positively Page" book for it].

Lunar is on GBA? Whoah....awesome! I -did- own the PSX version. *shrug* Are both Lunars on GBA, or just Silver Star Story?
-
Hmm... RPGs, strategy games, stuff like that. Yeah, I know, I've seen some of the artwork in a few gaming mags. It's like...whoah. Hotness! But, um, yeah, that's just me... Thanks for all the suggestions ^.^ The first FFT game's story sucked....I was completely confused as to what was going on. But the job system and levelling up and stuff was cool. So, if FFTA's story sucks as bad as you say it does, then I'll simply ignore it.

What's so disturbing about two way-too-flexible mutants, one fuzzy with a prehensile tail and the other with a prehensile long tongue, being slashy with S&M tendencies? His entire character owns, imo. He -knows- he has an awesome power and doesn't care to let others know it too. Plus, he's sexy and has an accent. Those in the LJ Evo community mentioned how fluid and smooth the animation is getting. Personally, I'm not noticing too much of a difference since the first season, but perhaps I'm the only one. EDIT: Since the sig pic disturbed everyone, I changed it to this WONDERFUL drawing of gothic evo-Toad.

High Price of Fame: Out - E! Documentary

As much as I want to claim credit for it.....I didn't make it. All I did was resize it and put it in my sig. Here's the actual post/author. -
Credit: http://www.eonline.com/On/HPOF/Episodes/out.html Out: The Straight Dope on Being Gay in Tinseltown Premieres: Oct. 1, 9 p.m. Encores: Oct. 3, 8 p.m.; Oct. 4, 3 p.m.; Oct. 5, 12 p.m. Hollywood--where blockbusters, prime-time television and PG ratings drive the business--is a hard place to be different. And nobody knows this better than those who've had to hide in the closet to become a big-screen leading man or America's sweetheart. And even now, as mainstream media goes through a phase in which gayness and gay issues are trendy, the reality isn't all laugh tracks and high ratings. This door-busting episode of High Price of Fame: Out, premiering Oct. 1 at 9 p.m., pulls the covers off of a once secret side of Hollywood. We show you how hard it has been for gay and lesbian artists, and we talk with those who've helped change the landscape of pop culture. You'll hear the stories of those who, in recent years, have "come out" and found great success, from k.d. lang to Ellen DeGeneres to Ian McKellen. We'll dig into the growing presence of out homosexuals on television, from Will & Grace to Rosie O'Donnell to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Hear from actors and singers on coming out of the closet and on the strong stigma still encountered by Hollywood's gay community. After so many legends having had to live a lie, queer is going mainstream--and E! brings you the movement's secrets and successes. ------------------------------ Sir Ian Mckellen and Queer Eye? I'm soooo there. *hopes against hope that Alan Cumming will be on there* What I'm wondering is, will I be the only one watching?
-
I haven't yet, but I sooo want to! So, ya know, feel free to tell all the good stuff about it. Do you have the GBA SP? If so, how great is is? I got the old model of GBA via trade a few days ago, and the screen is -torture- on the eyes.

Bicentennial Man ain't that bad. Why should Robin Williams be ashamed of it?
-
Suprisingly, a lot of the Evo-fans seem to dislike the plot as well. Least that's what the general consensus was for those who posted in the LJ community. Most believe it makes no sense since the two have had very little interaction on the show.

High Price of Fame: Out - E! Documentary

Well, they have a picture of Rosie up, so I'm guessing she'll be on there, unfortunately. I'm wondering if they're just going to interview actors/actresses. If not, perhaps Brian Singer will be on there? -
I'm sure, and hoping, that Ico is on there, as it's vastly underrated.

I'm doing a research paper on Chyna for school and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites to find info? Her main site doesn't really help. We have to have six sources, and only 3 can be fan web sites, and her book can only be counted as one souce, since it's a double project (we had to pick a auto/biography and do both a book report and a research paper about it. I didn't have my DDP book in yet, so I had to pick Chyna). I'll be grateful for any help that anyone can offer.

The outfit looks cool, least in my slightly-tired opinion. I'll reserve judgement on the movie until I actually see it. Besides, the movie is still slated as 'pre-production' at IMDB, so who knows, that outfit might change.

Call me insane, but I'm all for Kurt/Scarlet Witch. C'mooon...I can't be the -only- one who think the pairing could work. I mean, they both got evil dead parents and all that [one's a pile of rock and the other is, um, somewhere]. And I found this little news bit in an X-Men: Evolution LJ community: "Cajun Spice," a new episode of X-Men: Evolution scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4 on Kids' WB!, will feature Gambit and Rogue, producer Greg Johnson told The Continuum. "This is the episode where Rogue tries to come to terms with what she did to Mystique, as well as her efforts to repair the damage with Kurt," Johnson told The Continuum. "Gambit, having a soft spot for Rogue, thinks he knows just what the girl needs, and spirits her off to New Orleans. "I think fans will appreciate how Rogue and Gambit's relationship unfolds in this episode. Obviously, it's not a mushy romance, but the tension between them simmers quite well. We also involve enough of Gambit's backstory to give us a taste of what motivates him."
-
I figured since there was already an Evo thread, I wouldn't make another one just for Saturday's episode. So, what are everyone's thoughts of Spyke's return, the new mutant character, and/or where the series is headed?

How many must watch shows do you have?
Yuna_Firerose replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in Television & Film
Their reactions last night were hilarious. Then again, the way they react any time one of the straight guys does something wrong is pretty funny. And for some reason, my favorite one is Jai. Hmmm....maybe it's because he just has that 'innocent-but-whorish' look about him that just says 'kidnap me and make me your love slave'? Oh, I read somewhere that the black guy [he was the culture guy in ep. 2, I think] sued Queer Eye. *shrug* I think it's just lame, but whatever. Oh, for anyone who cares, the Fab Five will be making a book. The Fab Five are fucking hillarious. Their comments range from extremely mean to extremely witty. They've got great comedic timing. This is the gayest conversation I've ever had. Now that I think about it, an even gayer conversation would be one about my sig -
