How many must watch shows do you have?
Yuna_Firerose replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in Television & Film
Is it just me, or is Ted always getting frustrated? This was most evident in the George something-or-other [the bodybuilder] episode. Ted just needs a good....well, nevermind Apparently, he got whatever it was he needed because he seemed more relaxed in yesterday's episode. Well, that is, of course, until the Shaggy wannabe started breaking stuff. That was too funny when he started doing that, and it was most amusing to watch the Fab Five's reactions. In fact, their reactions to wanna-be Shaggy's entire parent get-together was amusing. Since I can't any more Evo episodes, I've started taping Queer Eye. -

I was just going to post that Queer Eye For The Straight Guy was one of my must-watch shows. Second, since I'm only seeing it on the weekend right now, is X-Men: Evolution. I definetly hope they replay this new season soon, so I can tape it. -
Yes, I know. Unfortunately, I cannot claim one pixel of ownership. The awesome-as-hell idgiebay made it. Which topic?

Just a little bit, yeah.

Chyna...a singer? Like.......whoah. I mean, I'll wait to pass judgement till I actually hear anything, but really, I don't see how her singing career could be better than anything she's done before.

Remember Self-Possessed? The minds of those she absorbs lingers with her, but she can't control them. Mesmero can, and he used it to his advantage in Dark Horizons. The reason she had to absorb all their powers again, was because Xavier wiped them from her mind in Self-Possessed. Ohhh. Well, when you put it like that, it makes perfect sense. Thanks for clearin' that up.

The one thing that annoys me most about this series is continuity, or lack thereof. For instance, Rogue. How is it possible she could steal everyone's powers at night and still retain all of them in the morning? Also, they act as though she can control her absorbtion abilities [see, Spykecam where she took just the dance moves from Kitty.] Also, wouldn't it be fatal for Kurt to teleport blind? Then again, I'm not, nor do I claim to be, an expert of the comic-verse, so I don't know what the rules are for the charas there. Is it just my ever-slashy mind, or are they trying to make evo-verse Pietro as gay as possible? That's also one of my fave episodes. It had great comedy, but it also furthered the storyline between Magneto and his daughter. Plus, Toad and Kurt are two of my fave charas in the series, with Rogue being a mary-sueish close second.

Hairlines are my weakness ^.^ I colored the entire face first, then took about an hour to copy/paste from the original pic anything that I went over [for instance his teeth and eyes].

*nod* I do. Prob is, I'm not the only one who uses this compy, ie, mom restricts what I can and cannont install.
-
I haven't seen 'Earth Girls Are Easy', but 'Once Bitten' ain't that bad. Least in my opinion, anyways. I especially liked the dance scene at the prom or whatever it was.

"mein herr" = "my gentleman" Remember kids, Free Translation.com is your friend. And, how'd ya know it was German?

See Bernard and the Genie... Well... Alan Cumming isn't a big enough star to be overly worried about past movie. I'm not ripping on him or anything, because he's been good any time I've seen him, but really he's not. People are only ashamed of BAD movies. That has a 7.4 rating on IMDB, so it must not be that bad. Still, Rowan Atkinson, Alan Cumming and a black Genie is rather humerous sounding. I know he's not that big of an actor, but you didn't really specify. Truth be told, the movie is funny...in a cheesy, early 90's, low-budget B-movie kinda way. And, this is a total fangirl speaking, but, Alan was simply ADORABLE! You're a Alan Cumming fan? I had no clue...wow, I learn something everyday Cute. Reeeal cute, mein herr.

It's amusing to see Rowan Atkinson play a villain who, for some reason I have yet to figure out, says 'ye' instead of 'you'. Also, and this is a total fangirl speaking, but, Alan was simply ADORABLE!

See Bernard and the Genie...

I'm also wondering what was wrong with Men Of Honor. Also, the 'Look Who's Talking' series wasn't that bad...
-
"Vampire Seductress", I think it's called. I don't know...it's some cheesy B porn movie.

Yep. The ending was perfect. Given the music, the dialogue, and the idea that this is a kids show, I fully expected Rogue to save Mystique. When she essentially murdered her in cold blood and just walked away, I was shocked. What an end for Magneto too, eh? Magneto and Mystique both "killed off" in one episode. One in pieces and the other...um...well, imploded? I guess that'd be the right word. The first season was really kiddy, but now I think they're sorta into pre-teen/teen areas. Obviously, it's very kiddy for the younger set to enjoy, but some things, like Kurt and Rogue's talk in 'Impact', are good enough for the older set to enjoy. Which, obviosly, is quite wonderful
-
Because he's coming back soon, unfortunately. Ugh....why are they wasting so much time on him? He's a failed chara. They need to deal with that. By the way, Kahran, did you see the 'Impact' ep.? In my opinion, that was is the most 'must-see' episode of the whole series. The ending was a shocker [to me, anyways, but then I'm a fangirl ^.^] and quite emotional.
-
I hope they replay the new eps at some point so I can tape 'em. Anyone know why Cartoon Network aren't playing them?
-
Just curious if anyone's watching. 'Course, everything they say has to be taken with a grain of salt considering ya never know if they're lying or not. *shrug* I do know, however, that Queer Eye for the Straight Guy tonight will be awesome, as always.
-
What I find amusing is that Bravo runs an ad for this show, then right after or before, shows a preview of their new reality show 'The Resturaunt', which looks quite dumb, imo.

http://www.comics2film.com/FanFrame.php?f_id=3699 For the comic book fans, I'm sure they'll enjoy this one: And, yes, I know some people are getting annoyed by the X2 updates. But, I figure that if you don't want to see the post, then don't click on it. Sound simple? I think so.
